"Genetics I imagine, I mean, you can't choose how you look." Zell said in response to Lilith, despite Thiera's attempts to stop the conversation.

T"Shouldn't we be handling this Megadeus!?"

L"It does not matter. It has been deactivated."

*An hour or so later, a police car stops near the apartment. Malkuth gets out of the driver's seat & a new officer, a woman with windblown gray hair, gets ouf of the passenger seat.*

Zell let out a small yawn. "Well, I should get back to painting." She said standing up. "Let me know if you have any more questions about my chest." Zell said as she passed Lilith, heading towards her room.

*By the time Thiera & Lilith arrive on the scene, they've lashed the Megadeus to the tanks & are starting to wheel it away. Gevurah turns.*

<Ahh. Ms. Psyche. It's a...well, it's an experience.>

1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

3And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

*The apartment is empty. A nearby closet door is slightly ajar. Upstairs Vega makes his way downstairs heading to the exit.*

*Malkuth pushes the door open with the barrel of the gun & looks inside. The female cop stays by the door.*

*The closet is empty except for some crap you'd find in a closet like shoes, jackets, and other shit like that. Operating under the assumption the stairs are set up like anywhere where there's a door at each floor and the staircase is long and mostly empty Vega heads down quick enough to get the hell out, but slow enough so his steps aren't echoing and shit.*

Luna looks at the folder and frowns, "What's that?"

*Netzach snatches it away, pushes his seat back, props his feet up on the steering wheel, & starts reading the manuscript.*

<Yeah, Helen mentioned these. They're fragments from something called the "Book of Revelation." It looks long & boring. Don't know why General Ronstadt gave it to ya, though.>

*He looks at Gevurah, who nods. He then opens the folder, skimming it.*

<They're plans for populating a new city. Paradigm-2.>

Gevurah<The first new city built since the disaster, 20 years in the making. It is built on an artificial island in the southern sea, & is about half the size of the original Paradigm that we live in now. There are no domes, though.>

<You're exiling civilians.>

Gevurah<If you want to put it negatively.>

"What is the reason for this?" Luna asked no one in particular, but expected either her father or Gevurah to answer.

"Hey, you found me! You win..."

*He searches his pockets finding nothing he just holds his hands up.*

"Sorry, I have nothing."

*Netzach kicks the steering wheel & they make a sudden turn in the tunnel.*

"...Why is it that civilians are to be forced into moving, though?" Luna knew now that there was to be no satisfactory answer to come out of it... there were other reasons behind this that the guy just wasn't going to tell her.

Zell puts down the brush she has in her hand and wipes her hands on her smock to clear them of excess paint before answering her phone. "Hello, Zell speaking. Who am I speaking to?"

<They are welcome to go of their own free will. But if they don't, they're still going. It took me nearly a decade to get Mr. Rosewater to approve this plan, so if anyone ought to complain, it's me.>

*She moves forward with the gun pointed at him as Malkuth gets the taser. Once she reaches him, she removes one hand to get a pair of handcuffs.*

*Soon they exit the tunnel. A light flashes on the dashboard & Tipheret clicks a button. A harsh woman's voice, not unlike Tipheret's, emerges from a speaker.*

???<There is a new suspect in the Megadeus Terrorist case.>

Netzach<You want us to apprehend him?>

???<If possible, but your first priority should be obtaining a DNA sample.>

*The light stops blinking as the speaker cuts out. Tipheret looks at Netzach & shrugs.*

Netzach<...What she just said makes perfect logical sense & I am satisfied with my job.>

*Vega doesn't resist. It's quite the opposite as he just goes limp.*

[That should provide some sort of amusement.]

Zell raised an eyebrow, "Hello Roger," Zell said, looking at her unfinished painting, "Thiera is not home at the moment, so I'm not so sure it would be wise to conduct the meeting in person now." Zell shifted her stance a bit and began to paint, "I also don't want to work out a date with you, only for that day to have a scheduling conflict with Thiera."

Luna turned to her dad and gave him a look which just said "Something's wrong".

She remained silent, waiting to see what her father planned on doing.

<I see. Yes. I'll get right on that.>

*Gevurah walks past Thiera.*
