Digital Mayhem

{The beast is dead.}

*Euryale & Black Agumon split apart, slumping face-forward in the sand.*

B<I don't need to Digivolve. I'll destroy every last one of the Dark Masters at Infant Level, if I have to.>

*He reverts back to Betamon, lying on his side.*

*Allina walks over to Betamon and sits down, patting him.*

Allina: <You did really good. Right, Tsune?>

*Patamon walks up to Allina from behind.*

Patamon: <Did I do good?>

Allina: <Shh, go away I'm comforting Beta.>

Patamon: <...>

Valkyrimon: {Victory. I told you that'd work!}

UlforceVeedramon: {...Okay.}

*BlackMetalGarurumon reverts to normal, the two laying in the sand.*

"I'm sore all over..."

*The ground starts shaking and islands move about merging into one. Other islands sink while land rises from the ocean. On the land is dense forest.*

*Tsune picks up Betamon, hugging him & crying.*

*Valkyrimon and UlforceVeedramon degenerate upon landing near the others.*

Tae: <Whew...>

Hawkmon: <We did it!>

Tae: <Good job, Euryale, Taiyo.>

Allina: <To explore the new island!>

Patamon: <Pfft.>

Allina: <What?!>

Tae: <More like to rest, am I right?>

Patamon, Veemon & Hawkmon: <YES.>

*Taiyo rolls over and drags herself up to crawl over to Tsune. Hitomi picks Salamon up and backs away from the newly formed forest.*

"Are those happy tears, Tsuney?"

*Tsune nods vigorously, gasping & sobbing.*

Tae: <Salamon, are you all right? Bropaw.>

*He raises a fist to her.*

Allina: <TO THE FOREST.>

*Taiyo stands up on her knees and wraps her arms around Tsune, knocking the three over.*

"Yay!"

Salamon:<I'm fine. Are... Are you all right?>

*Tae smiles warmly and rather than bropaw her just pokes her nose with his finger.*

Tae: <I'm good. Thanks for asking.>

Hawkmon: <Hawkmon, are you all right? Oh yeah, perfect.>

Tae: <Don't be silly.>

Hawkmon: <Hehe.>

*Allina rides Pegasusmon into the forest, Razz following on AeroVeedramon.*

T"Please...l...let go of...m...me...."

*Taiyo rolled off of Tsune and looked at her somewhat disappointed.*

*Due to the overabundance of trees and low hanging branches, flying is quite difficult if they're not looking to crash into anything.*

*They get off and the Digimon degenerate. They walk farther in, calling out to the others.*

Allina: <Guys!>

*Tae looks at the forest and then at Hitomi.*

Tae: <Let's go?>

E"Already?! I just fought a giant cyborg sea serpent to the death!"

A<And I helped!>

"So did me and BlackGabumon! Why do they have to be in a rush? We can enjoy the beach for once."

*Hitomi looks out to the forest.*

Hitomi:<Okay.>

*They hear some leaves rustling and wings buzzing but not much else.*

Allina: <I came here to nap, goddamnit!>

Razz: <You did?>

*Tae walks to them with Hawkmon and presumably Hitomi and Salamon. Veemon and Patamon are looking around seing if they spot the source of the noises.*

*Euryale & Black Agumon have since fallen asleep.*

*Taiyo drags herself over to Euryale and curls up beside her. As she's still wearing her armor, she doesn't cuddle up to her.*

*They don't see much of anything other than the many trees, some still dripping with water from having risen out of the ocean. Overall it's probably not the best place for a nap.*

Salamon:<Why would you choose to sleep here?>

Allina: <I was hoping for a nice clearing with singing birds where I could take a nap under a tree.>

Tae: <You'e clearly new to the Digital World.>

Hawkmon: <Let's just go back?>

Tae: <I wanna look around a bit more.>

*Tsune picks up a sticks.*

"Let's see...Machinedramon...probably something like this."

*She draws a dragon in the sand, with an arrow pointing to it that says, "Robot."*

"Puppetmon....does he make puppets or IS he a puppet?"

*She draws a marionette in the sand.*

"And Piedmon...might be a pie? No, that's just stupid."

*She draws a question mark in the sand.*

"Well...Machinedramon definitely isn't in the forest. So it must be either Puppetmon or Piedmon. The leader will probably fight last...but who is that?"

*She hears a loud buzzing sound from the forest passing by followed by branches breaking.*

*The buzzing moves away and soon everything is quiet.*

Salamon:<What do you hope to find?>

Tae: <Honestly, I just wanna make sure there isn't something around here to jump us and eat our heads if we decide to rest at the beach.>

Hawkmon: <I don't think this is your lucky day.>

Tae: <No kidding. That could have been a small Digimon, though.>

Salamon:<When has anything been small recently?>

Tae: <Good point.>

Hawkmon: <So what now? It seems like it went away.>

Salamon:<Return to the forest and come up with a plan that doesn't amount to set the forest on fire?>
