Digital Mayhem

*Now certain that she's dealing with an enemy, Euryale forms a pair of bladed gauntlets and goes to town on it.*

*It intercepts with its arm blades, growling with each hit as Euryale's blades make cuts and scratches in its own. The one MagnaAngemon is pointing at swings a blade at him and the final one in the back lunges at Tsune.*

Salamon:<Well, it doesn't appear to be working, so we should go and forget all about this place or ask someone who might know.>

"Salamon?"

Salamon:<What? I'm not freaking out or anything, am I?>

*The Generalissimo coils around Tsune & blasts it with several Lightning Javelins. Meanwhile, Euryale forms a big ol' longsword & stabs upward into the thing's body.*

*MagnaAngemon parries the blade with his own and smacks the Kyukimon in the face with his shield.*

*Tae shakes his head, walks to Salamon, and picks her up, turning her to his face to look her in the eyes.*

Tae: <Hey, what's wrong?>

*Kyukimon blocks Euryale's attack, hissing as data pours from the wound where a large portion of its blade arms were shaved off. The Kyukimon engaging MagnaAngemon parries the shield with a blade arm and counters with the other. BlackGabumon Digivolves then Warp Digivolves tackling the third Kyukimon as ShadowWereGarurumon.*

Salamon:<I've already said I don't like it here.>

*MagnaAngemon blocks the blade with his Excalibur and leaps back. Allina jumps onto its back and stick her fingers in its eyes.*

MagnaAngemon: <What the hell?!>

Allina: <I don't know!>

*MagnaAngemon sighs and shoots a beam at the enemy's belly.*

Tae: <And you think we do? But... this place seems important.>

*Tae puts Salamon down a ways away from the gate and pats her.*

Hawkmon: <This angel Digimon looks like Patamon when he digivolves.>

Tae: <You're right. Maybe Allina could open it.>

*Veemon gets sick of their shit, warp digivolves, and blasts the gate with an energy dragon.*

*Euryale splits her weapon in 2 and continues hacking at it.*

*Kyukimon backs away as it parries her attacks and tries countering with its own. Growling the second Kyukimon lunges at MagnaAngemon swinging an arm at him. Meanwhile, ShadowWereGarurumon struggles with the Kyukimon and its bigass arm blades.*

*Dust and dirt is blown off the door and that's it.*

Salamon:<You ever thought about asking someone about it?>

*She forms her blades into a shield like Black War Greymon's, then separates it into two halves, using it to augment her punches.*

*MagnaAngemon sidesteps the attack and Allina continues to stab Kyukimon's eyes with her thumbs. MagnaAngemon takes the chance to slash Kyukimon down the torso.*

Tae: <So you're saying we should get the others.>

Hawkmon: <There's always Mr. Douchebag.>

Razz: <Allina and I confirmed several times contacting Zarek isn't easy.>

Tae: <Of course not. It'd be too convenient.>

*The Kyukimon's knocked over and thrashes its arms around at Euryale trying to keep her at bay. The second Kyukimon spins around trying to get Allina off its back, putting her in the path of MagnaAngemon's attack in the process.*

Salamon:<He'll find us. He always does.>

*The Excalibur only tears through Tae's jacket a bit before stopping. She jumps off of the Kyukimon and kicks its butt. MagnaAngemon stabs at it.*

Tae: <So we wait?>

Hawkmon: <ZAREK. YOU CAN SHOW UP. EURYALE ISN'T HERE.>

*Euryale jumps back, forming a longbow & an arrow, which she then uses to shoot this asshole through his flailing arms. Black Agumon sets it in fire mid flight with a Pepper Destroyer.*

*It hisses, a hole in its arms. Sticking its blades into the ground it stands up and swings at Euryale, the swing coming at her much slower than at the start. The second growls and turns around slashing at MagnaAngemon.*

*Nothing happens.*

*MagnaAngemon opens up a portal as Kyukimon is charging at him. Allina kicks Kyukimon towards it at the same time.*

*Tae walks over to Hitomi and gestures Razz to follow.*

Tae: <Okay, so what now?>

Razz: <...I don't know.>

*Razz looks at Hitomi blankly.*

Razz: <...Hitomi, right? Any suggestions?>

*The generalissimo blasts the one attacking Euryale and she turns the bow into another sword, stabbing it while it's down.*

*ShadowWereGarurumon attempts to punch the Kyukimon, but it involves unpinning one of its arms and it slashes at him.*

ShadowWereGarurumon:<A little help?>

*By some miracle (meaning I can't come up with a way to bullshit around it), the Kyukimon is sucked into the gate. Kyukimon howls, swinging wildly, data flowing out from around the swords blade.*

"We leave."

*Euryale turns & fires a bow at its head.*

*Razz shrugs as Veemon digivolves. He walks onto AeroVeedramon's back and they fly off. Aquilamon follows once Tae, Hitomi and Salamon are ready.*

*This serves to make it flail its arms around more as it screams bloody murder. The one Euryale had stabbed slowly stands up, raising a blade.*

"Euryale, behind you!"

*Hitomi sits behind Tae, her arms around his waist and Salamon's perched on Aquilamon's head appearing to be more relaxed.*

*MagnaAngemon stabs the Kyukimon attacking ShadowWereGarurumon in the back.*

*Aquilamon and AeroVeedramon fly in the direction the rest of the group went.*

*Euryale turns and fires 3 arrows at that sonuvabitch too.*

*The Kyukimon ShadowWereGarurumon is grappling with is on the ground and therfore doesn't get stabbed. The second Kyukimon falls backwards and dissolves into data.*

*They get to the clearing they departed from, but don't see the others.*

*MagnaAngemon degenerates to Patamon and Allina kicks at the downed Kyukimon's head.*

=====

*They keep flying in the direction the others went because they too saw the footprints and the other group following them before flying off earlier.*

*Euryale approaches the downed Kyukimon, generating an axe & lopping off its head.*
