Jack: <We know your game, you fucking phony! You act like the big hero, "saving" some chicks from the "perverted tourists", just so you can get in their pants yourself! Now let's settle this like gentlemen!>

*Edge still doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.*

*Protoman begins dancing around uncontrollably.*

Protoman: <YOU SUCK, ZENO!>

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

Kelphy: <Oh, that sounds interesting.>

*She drinks a bit of coke and looks around at them.*

Kelphy: <...I'm going to hack the hote's network.>

~Jack, Minato & Razz~

Razz: <I'm killing you both if you don't shut up.>

*He goes back to glaring at Minato.*

Razz: <You. Find out where the Mayor is staying.>

~Zeno~

*She crouches on the desk and leans over the edge, looking at Zeno upside down.*

Ella: <You're kind of boring. I'm leaving.>

*She stands up, kicks the computer screen out of her way (which is to say off the desk), hops off and runs out of the office and down the hallway to the left.*

"I'll do it" Alto says, "Axl's abilities will make it easier to infiltrate it covertly."

"Dude.... I don't even like girls that way. How can I be a pervert like you guys?" he tilts his head.

<"It's true. Rainbows are straighter">

"Hey Hey Starman, who asked you. Just because I don't spend my every minute looking at porn doesn't mean I'm gay, stupid!"

<"But isn't it normal teenage behavior?">

"Then I'm abnormal. A late bloomer!" He waves his arms up and down. "What Mayor?" he tilts his head again.

Edge: <Well then, I'll just leave it to you guys.>

*Edge sighs and relaxes.*

Zeno: <H-hey! My PET!>

*He runs after Ella.*

Jack: <Dude, you're in our class. I'd think you'd know what Mayor we're talking about.>

*Jack bonks Minato on the head. Suddenly, The Scout appears yelling "BOINK!" No one notices, hopefully.*

Jack: <Mayor Colsun? The mayor that disappeared suddenly and re-appeared in Paris? The mayor that was replaced by some mysterious and possibly evil babe?>

CrashMan: <The mayor whose daughter is in your class...>

Jack: <Huh? Wait, really?>

*CrashMan facepalms*

CrashMan: <Dude...How could you NOT know?>

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

Kelphy: <Well, okay.>

*She looks at the computer embedded on the wall with a jack-in port.*

Iceman: <Will probably be easier if you enter directly.>

~Jack, Minato & Razz~

*A couple kids approach them.*

Kid1: <Hi, you're speaking English.>

Razz: <No kidding. Wait. You're speaking English too.>

Kid1: <Yes.>

Razz: <Do you know where the Navi researchers are?>

Kid2: <See, I knew they were friends with the ones from before.>

Razz: <What.>

Kid1: <The really cute girl with long dark blue hair. I think she liked me.>

Kid2: <But you're 12 and she's like 30.>

Kid1: <I like mature women.>

Razz: <I have a knife.>

Kid1: <D-D-D'oh yeah, they're staying at the Britannique Hotel down the street.>

Razz: <Thanks.>

Kid2: <Now that I think of it, weren't there two guys with the girl, too?>

*The first kid shrugs. Razz walks past them towards the hotel.*

~Zeno~

*She looks back to find him chasing her and shrieks. She then runs through an opened door into a large conference room with a group of five or six people in white lab coats as well as Olympe, who is just standing by the door. He recognizes all of the researchers from seing them on TV, even the pretty young woman with long blond hair and teal eyes, Aera Turmill, said to be the lead researcher on TV. One of them immediately runs to her.*

Dr.Roca: <Ella!>

Ella: <Daddy!>

Dr.Roca: <I told you not to come in here!>

Ella: <That evil man is stalking me!>

*Olympe, who had been glaring at Zeno for a while, walks past the father and daughter and shoves Zeno away from the door, closing it behind her.*

Olympe: <What the hell are you doing here?>

*Edge just lays down and looks at the ceiling again.*

*Jack follows along*

Jack: <Nice work.>

"Agreed Iceman, Jack in, Axl.exe!" Alto jacks Axl in.

"Oooooh" Minato says and follows.

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

*Kelphy sits down on the bed Edge is on and holds a slice of pizza over his head.*

Kelphy: <Don't you want to eat too?>

*Axl appears inside a room as big as the real one the group is in, with blue walls and floor that look like circuit boards and no ceiling. Up high he sees the sky: dark green with glowing light wires crossing in multiple nets and webs. There is no door separating the room he is in from the hallway that leads into all of the other rooms.*

~Jack, Minato & Razz~

*Entering the luxurious main lobby, Razz heads to the counter and points at Minato.*

Razz: <That kid keeps telling people there are rats in your rooms.>

*The receptionist lady widens her eyes and hurries over to Minato, motioning one of the security guards to follow her. Razz goes around the counter and checks the computer.*

Axl walks slowly into the hallway and begins to selectively explore.

"AM NOT, LIAR!" Minato yells at Razz.

Edge: <Eh? No, no, I'm fine.>

Jack: <Serves you right!>

*Jack sneezes, closing the dimensional hole around him permanently. He then proceeds to follow Razz around the counter*

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

Kelphy: <Humm... okay then.>

*She smiles and walks to Alto to look at his PET.*

Kelphy: <It looks like the network is organized like the hotel itself. Perhaps you should try the elevator.>

*All of the other rooms look the same. The elevator is down the hall, looking like the real one but in the circuit board theme. One or two programs float by the hallway every now and then.*

~Jack, Minato & Razz~

Razz: <Rooms 83, 84 and 85.>

*Razz walks away from the counter and turns to Minato and the guard who is now preparing to tase him for refusing to leave.*

Razz: <I was wrong. It was actually some girl. She left already. My bad.>

*He then walks down a hallway to the right towards the elevator.*

Jack: <So we're splitting up and checking each room, I'm assuming?>

"It does appear like that" Alto says as he slides something into Axl's PET.

Axl's navi insignia glows briefly showing that he downloaded a program before moving forward towards the elevator.

"You're a jackass" Minato says drly.

Spider: <(Don't try to act tough. You know you're starving.)>

Edge: <(Oh shut uuuup. I'm legitimately not-)>

*Edge's stomach rumbles extremely loud.*

Edge: <(Ah, screw it.)>

*Edge gets up and goes to the pizza box to grab a piece.*

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

Kelphy: <What did you just do?>

*She glances at Edge and nods with a smile.*

*The elevator has the same available floors as the real one. However, there's an extra green button glowing under the base floor.*

~Jack, Minato & Razz~

Razz: <I guess so. Don't fall behind, fruitcake.>

*The elevator doors open and Razz walks in, keeping his right foot out to keep the doors opened for Jack and Minato.*

ShadowMan: <What floor are they on?>

Razz: <They're high numbers, I would assume the last one or the one below that one.>

"Hit the button. I'm erecting a firewall as we speak"

<"Roger that Alto">

Axl presses the button.

---

Minato gets in the elevator.

*Jack enters as well*

*Edge just munches back on his pizza, not a clue what was happening, nor did he really care.*

~Alto, Edge & Kelphy~

*Having been ignored, Kelphy just watches Axl quietly.*

*The elevator immediately starts droping at a crazy high speed, stopping after a few seconds. The doors open to a hallway blocked by a golden gate with red glowing linings.*

*The doors open and he walks out into the last floor, soon realizing the last floor is number 40.*

Razz: <Okay...>

ShadowMan: <Now what?>
