| He is Butthurt. - Quote :
- That aside, as I said, being a self taught samurai is neigh impossible, and almost a laughable idea when your character is matched up against warriors who have, presumably been practicing for centuries.
Minor correction here, a great deal of samurai WERE self-taught, of course that was back in the Warring States era. Some guy in the modern age just picks up a sword & becomes a self-taught master? Yeah, bullshit. Who's he even going to "watch"? It's not like people just walk down the streets of New York practicing kenjutsu.

| Self taught yes, but practicing against other samurai helped a great deal, as well as having a background in martial arts to begin with. | |

| well i never even said the sword was his primary weapon. i just said he carried one -.-
if it doesn't make sense YOU rewrite it because it makes sense to me, and Loki doesn't care.
I'm still very new to role-playing i don't even know how I'm going to start this off

It isn't bitching, but the point remains. I'm just pointing out flaws as I see them, I've done the same thing to the RP as a whole with Loki.

| You've actually set up your bio for some pretty easy hand waving. He is an orphan, so instead of having him lone wolf it out until he is sixteen, drop that age significantly, and say he moved around from house to house learning different skills.
Ex. "He was first taken in by a local kendo instructor, and stayed with him a few years before his rebellious nature forced him on to another home, though he kept practicing the art as an aside for years to come. A few houses later he came to live under the roof of a pharmaceutical scientist, and was given a better education, and even a bit of tutoring from the man himself on different chemical compositions, and how they reacted with the human body. This sparked an interest in him, but his time in that house was as short lived as the rest."
It isn't pretty, but at least you can justify having a diverse skill set by explaining that he would have, theoretically speaking, been the apple of the eyes of at least a half dozen parents with tailor made skills and no other children to pour time and love into. You could even bullshit your way into saying it was him that got a hold of certain documents, and chose each new foster parent.
Edit. As for carrying a sword in broad daylight, in New York City, I have not figured that one out yet.

| As this is Bleach, I'm assuming magic can be used as an excuse. | |

| No problem, and it isn't really rambling. Bios are meant to be long and detailed. | |

I have also been considering this scientific stuff your character got. How about he came to the pharmaceutical person, somehow his interest was raised for the subject and started to read books. His interest amused the pharmaceutical person who shared a piece here and there of information. Perhaps there also were the thought of sending him to higher education in the subject when he got old enough but it didn't happen since he didn't stay long enough there for one reason or another.

| He could take it any direction he wants. Like I said before, I was just giving him a rough foundation that easily justified his diverse skill set. If he wants to elaborate more on it, more power to him. | |

| If you only noticed a mile away I'd say you need to get your eyes checked. Loki basically started this RP with the words, "Hey, if you're reading this I need you to join." | |
