I do, as they mean two totally different things.

In Australia and England, a series tends to mean a year's (or however the show runs until it ends) worth of episodes (like a season).
Am I right in suspecting that your problem is that Americans tend to use "series" to describe the "seasons" collectively?

You never know what might happen. A few months ago, my parents told me that I could die of anorexia, but that's no longer an issue and I've been recovering.
