The War of Paradigm City

*Big Fau stands up with a heavily cracked right arm. Chunks of it begin to fall off.*

Barbatos{"Little more than a sparkler," right?}

Aamon{A meaningless miracle. No matter, I've prepared for even the impossible.}

*It raises its fist in the direction of Kanrei Tsuki, & a thruster ignites in its elbow, the arm & blade spinning. As it emerges, the rest of the arm falls apart, the rocket-propelled fist flying at Kanrei Tsuki, plowing straight through the skyscrapers like a spear through wet paper.*

Mirror Zero moves to amputate the rest of Big Fau's arm, though, in all honesty, she doesn't see what threat it could pose anymore without a hand.

*Big Fau grabs it with its other arm. Spinning its hand, it causes the blade to get all...wonky. As it fluctuates, it starts sending electricity back into Mirror Zero. It takes the opportunity to explode the joint of its broken arm, causing it to fall off. The cannon on that side then swivels into the shoulder socket, aiming backward & blasting apart Basilisk's face. As if that wasn't enough, it & Rozengeist begin clashing with their eye-lasers.*

Mirror Zero shoots a volley of lasers at Big Fau's cannon, and uses its thrusters to try and get away from its grip.

*The cannon explodes, bits of barrel & large shells falling all over the street below. The extra stress also allows Rozengeist's eye lasers to overwhelm Big Fau's, literally exploding half of its head.*

Aamon<Why...why is this happening?!>

*Several ports open on Big Fau's torso.*

Aamon<You're nothing but a bunch of failed experiments! Miserable! Worthless! I am the world's greatest scientist! You can't be devestating my greatest experiment! It is impossible! Against the laws of nature! This literally cannot be happening!>

Barbatos<Shut up & kill them, you snivelling coward!>

Aamon<W--what?>

*With that, several dozen missiles come flying out of Big Fau's torso, veering in different directions to fly at each of the individual Megadeuses.*

Mirror Zero seizes the opportunity, and rushes in as fast as possible, shooting a volley of lasers ahead of herself to intercept the missiles. When within range Mirror Zero stabs into Big Fau's torso, twists the blade a bit, then rips it out of Big Fau's side, pumping lasers into it the entire time.

*This strategy proves successful, but Big Fau is still standing, albeit with fire emerging from the gash. As Leviathan was behind it, & therefore spared the wrath of the missiles, it swings its tail into the "wound" & starts electrocuting it. Big Fau raises its remaining fist, spinning the blade & punching at Mirror Zero. Rozengeist is unable to really do anything about the missiles heading towards it, so it just falls after being consumed in smoke & fire.*

Mirror Zero is rattle by the hit and retreats, shooting more lasers at Big Fau's torso. When she notices Rozengeist fall over she asks, "Hey, are you alright?" Over, what I assume is a communication system.

L"I have suffered no additional structural damage. The Megadeus, however, is non-responsive."

*Now Big Fau puts its shield back up, which also pushes the tail out. It grabs Basilisk by the tail with its remaining arm & swings the Megadeus at Mirror Zero.*

Mirror Zero ducks, and tries to sever Big Fau's remaining hand.

*The shield takes the hit for Fau. Fau grabs its wrist & starts spinning the blade, aiming to "arm wrestle" the other Megadeus into getting its wrist cut off.*

Mirror Zero floods Big Fau with lasers and tries to back away with all its limbs intact.

*Big Fau blocks the lasers & continues arm-wrestling with the Megadeus. It activates the thruster on its arm & steps forward, hoping to twist Mirror Zero's arm around in its socket. Meanwhile, Basilisk is shaking itself loose of the debris.*

Mirror Zero uses only one of its thrusters to perform a cart wheel, and along with Big Fau's momentum in that direction, attempts a kind of shoulder toss to put Big Fau on its back.

*Once Big Fau is on its back, Basilisk descends upon it with its laser-mouuth. It easily cuts through the force-field & melts Big Fau's outer-casing. Once that's done, the drill closes up & starts--drilling--into Big Fau's chest cavity. At some point, the drill seizes up &, instead, the jaws re-open & begin tearing into the hole, ripping out wires & pistons & throwing them all over the place. Aamon's screaming can be heard throughout the whole assault & he fires the remaining fist-missile at Basilisk, but Basilisk bites it & crushes it.*

Thiera{Something is wrong...I've lost control over the Megadeus.}

*The lights in Big Fau's eyes go out & then Basilisk beheads it with its tail. The head rolls towards the subway entrance, pushing street lights over like dominoes.*

Zell kind of turns her head away from the whole scene. They were robots, but it was still creepy seeing such carnage.

*After Big Fau is sufficiently destroyed, Basilisk "lays down." Its hatch opens & Thiera stumbles out.*

*Hitomi ejects the cockpit from the Megadeus.*

Zell hops out of Mirror Zero and rushes over to Thiera to see if she was alright. Unsurprisingly, she asks, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, but I think those two escaped into the tunnels. Also, I imagine Lilith will need a lot of repairs. I might not even be able to get her Megadeus running again for several months."

Zell let out a sigh, "Damn, so, this isn't over yet? I thought you killed them in that... 'attack'." With that she began to make her way over to Liltih.

*Lilith is still in her Megadeus, locked up out of reach.*

T"This Megadeus has a cockpit in the chest, just like Big Duo does. In spite of the heavy damage to it, the controls were virtually untouched."

*Thiera pushes some buttons on her watch & Basilisk wriggles its tail.*

T"Excellent. We have to get Lilith in a working Megadeus & head underground. Big Fau & Rozengeist are lost causes, before too long, the Paradigm military will arrive on the scene to collect or dispose of them.>

"Alright, do you know of any Megadeus she could use?"

"We can take her in either Mirror Zero or Basilisk, now that I'm fairly certain it's functioning normally again."

*Hitomi climbs/falls out of the entry plug.*
