FIRST EVER CERO fired at Ichigo by a Gillian. He blocks it.
Cero used by Ichigo's Hollow. He never even gets to fire it.
Cero used by Shinji against Grimmjow. He blocks it with his own.
Cero used by Dordonni. Nel swallows it & spits it back at him. It gives him minor burns, which he heals by releasing.
Synchronized Cero used by Pesche & Dondochakka on Szayel. He splits it in half, each half sailing harmlessly past him.
Gran Rey Cero shot by Grimmjow, Ichigo blocks it without a scratch.
Cero shot by Nnoitra at Nel. Meets the same fate as Dordonni's.
Cero shot at Kenpachi not long afterwards, he literally bats it aside with his bare hand.
Ulquiorra's Cero Oscuras, kills Ichigo.
Ichigo comes back & kills Ulquiorra with his own Cero.
Lillynette's Cero, which Ukitake bats away with his bare hand from a sitting position.
Starrk's 1000 Ceros, absorbed by Ukitake & fired back at him.
Starrk shooting Kyoraku point-blank in the back, he plays possum & later hops up to destroy Starrk completely.
Aizen's Cero-like Fragor, manages to take out Ichigo's arm, but wait he goes Mugetsu & makes everything better right afterwards.

And, finally, this chapter. Where he seems to have blocked it with his bare hand with barely any effort. As you can see, Ceros in Bleach have a failure ratio of over 8:1.

Anyway, I liked it a lot too, but mostly because of the IchiRuki going on. Plus it looks like we're going to be getting another death flashback, which, is kind of needed right about now.

The last few chapters have been overflowing with IchiRuki. I can hardly take it any more. JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN, KUBO.

You guys are projecting all over the place. This happened literally a dozen chapters ago. With Ginjo. Take off your Shipping Goggles, already.

But Ginjo jumped in front of the sword for a completely different reason. Ginjo tried to save Ichigo because he was hoping that Ichigo could be the one to take away all of their powers. Rukia tried to save Ichigo because she's obviously madly in love with him.

Also Riruka controlled her to jump.

Projecting all over the place. Which is shameful. Do you know how many times I've pointed out that this has been Bromance: The Arc?

I could prove Ichigo is gay 5 times over, if we wanted to read too much into gestures of loyalty.

Raging IchiHime fanboy aside, I doubt that Riruka controlled Rukia at all. Her power has never been control, more like... soul trapping. But if she could control her things, why didn't she help Ichigo during training, when she desperately wanted to, or have Rukia kill herself when she put her into a doll?

I won't deny that Ginjo and Tsukishima have got some Ho Yay going on.

So Script, I heard Inori told Gai where to shove it in the last ep unless I'm wrong?

In this episode she more or less confesses her feelings for Shu to Gai. Also, shit is getting CRAZY in GC. I'm guessing the Big Bad is recreating the shit storm from the past and people in Tokyo are dying.

Fair warning, Shu has become a bit of a wuss in the last episode, but for a very good reason.

Also, there is a difference between Riruka putting people in things, & Riruka putting herself in a person. And Riruka's victims could, in fact, control the new "bodies" they were put into.

Also, Ginjo & Tsukishima? Puh-leeze. "Oh, it's so tragic, Ichigo is trying so hard to understand me, but I know I can't come out of this alive, so I'll use my last breath to confess my wish to have a closer relationship with him!"

Eh, I guess you have a point about Riruka. Would explain why she jumped in front of Ichigo without, oh, Iunno, drawing her her sword as well...

Rukia's been kind of dumb these past few chapters. Kido Shield? What the fuck is that? Yeah, yeah, rule of drama.

Honestly, I'm not sure which one actually decided to jump in front of the attack first. At the time, I thought it was Rukia. But it is plausible it was Riruka.

But fuck all that noise, I don't live in the past! I'm more intrigued in where these next chapters are going. I'm hoping against hope we'll get to see some action from the FullBringers who got shafted this time around. If we don't, anime filler remains my final hope.

I'm hoping Riruka, Yukio, and Moe join the permanent cast.

I am hoping they do not.

Why not? Maybe we can gravitate back to stuff happening in the living world and less Shinigami circle jerking.

Well... at least after whatever the next long arc involving Isshin is done.
