Fun Fact: The Bleach Wiki's official position is that there are no Nazi references, & saying there are is racist against Germans.

Germans are touchy as shit last I checked when it comes to Nazis actually, so while not racist, I could see it being an uncomfortable topic for Germans.

Just saying, "It's Germany, therefore it's Nazi" makes it a touchy subject, however what makes it stupid is, as usual, they're only seeing what they feel like seeing. There's also the genocide, the references to holy wars, the splitting of Hollows into a kill group & a slave labor group, the ultra-nationalism, the SS uniforms, & the war marches.

Kubo has also been quoted as saying that he thinks Spanish sounds evil. If they want to talk about political correctness, they should take it up with him.

Also the fact that Opie Kirge looks like Himmler.

But yeah.

Lol, Spanish sounds pretty sexual to me actually, but that could just be cultural context. Latin on the other hand has the potential for evilness.

I believe he said something to the effect of "exotic & sinister." So...probably not the best of wording.

As far as evil-sounding goes, nothing doesn't beat German.

I'm starting to wonder if there's a trend towards Holocaust Reference Denial. I recently saw a YouTube quote that says the Deepground Soldiers bear no similarities to the Nazis.

My first thought was, "Really? Putting large groups of people in train cars to transport them to their deaths doesn't ring any bells?"

I think it is more like people hold Nazis as the epitome of SUPER FUCKING EVIL, and they just feel that NOTHING, AT ALL!!!, can ever recreate that level of bad, despite the fact that there are groups out there doing exactly that.

It just seems odd because the normal tendency is to overemphasize patterns. That is why you get so many people who fervently believe all of these "crack theories."

Maybe there is a certain point where people back off. I mean, people will call others a saint, but they usually back off before calling someone Jesus.

But there is also Godwin's Law. So either I'M overemphasizing a pattern, or this is a new thing.

No, I think it is a bow, just a really odd one, the same way Seele Schnider, or whatever the fuck it is called, is just a really weird arrow.

Well, you already know I'm theorizing that they can steal & use Bankais, not that I suspect his sword--if it is a Zanpakuto--is a Bankai.

Saw something on the new chapter I didn't see before. A cover with Aizen on it & something about the "Missing Link Project." Here's what I found when I Googled it:

The official name for these two novels are ‘Spirits Are Forever With You’. The two novels, as noticeable in the picture, are set to be within the 17 months from when Ichigo lost his powers, and from when he met Ginjo (between volume 48 - 49). One last thing that was mentioned was something about ‘That Hollow who was supposed to be dead revives from Hell!’.

Other shit I've since found:

1. Aizen is involved at least somewhat. One of the spoilers that was released involved him talking to the 8th Kenpachi in prison. Aizen sent conflicting messages, claiming 8K was stronger than him & immune to Kyoka Suigetsu, but acting like he was in control.
2. The Arrancar nurse Yammy killed was seen on one of the scans. Some have concluded that she is "The Hollow who should be in Hell."
3. The 8th Kenpachi is rumored to be a woman. Before anyone gets too excited, this is based on one person's translation & the character has no obvious secondary sex characteristics. Honestly, s/he resembles Byakuya more than anything.
4. There is a villainess, but she seems to be a minion. She bears a resemblance to Shunsui's Zanpakuto spirit from the Zanpakuto Tales Arc. Naturally, the fanbase is running with that.
5. Don Kanonji is supposedly the main character. Somehow.
6. Much like with Hell Chapter, the canonicity is uncertain. Kubo is listed as a co-author.
