Or you can breed out the traits that result in bad decisions like the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, being against vaccinations, participating in play by post RPG's, liberalism, conservativism, the list goes on.

Much more practical than waiting for the decision to kill the one who chose to do it and the casualties that come with it.

And natural selection is most certainly at work in this place.

Even if you could find every related gene & breed them out, that would not weed out environmental effects. Sorry.

That has nothing to do with what I said.

It has plenty to do with what you said. For derelicts such as those here, their environment is the internet which would be radically improved.

As for the outside world, once again radically improved. Disposing those who willingly perpetuate the spread of illness and disease such as smokers and anti-vaxxers would be beneficial.

And none of us would get to experience it. It'd be great.

You really don't understand genetics. Alright, here's an example for you. Say someone wanted to "breed out" disease. This isn't possible, because not all diseases are caused by genetics.

Good thing that has nothing to do with eliminating traits that result in people smoking or being against vaccinations. Things that perpetuate the spread of disease and would be an improvement if they ceased to exist.

In a few generations, it could be safe to go to Disney Land again.

Notice how, even among identical twins, there's only between a 40 & 50% concordance? That means that, given identical genes, people will only be the same in these traits around 40-50% of the time. This is considered a very high relationship between genes & personality.
