"I'm not really supposed to do this, but why don't you stay in the castle tonight?"

*Euryale grabs the hand headed south & stops it on her stomach.*

"You have to stretch before a race."

"Are you sure it'll be alright if I stay?" Zac asked, "I don't want to impose, or get you in trouble."

Mortal flushed red, "Uh, right. I'm sorry." Mortal brought the other hand up to Euryale's other breast.

"It won't be a problem if we don't get caught."

*Euryale puts her arms around Mortal & kisses her.*

"You sound like a teenager with a line like that," Zac said with a chuckle.

Dawn then walks into the room with a towel tucked underneath her arm, "You have got to be kidding me..."

*Euryale disengages.*

"Sorry, I thought Mortal locked the door. Though, to be fair, you really should knock."

"Oh well. My family only gets 3 rooms, so you'll have to stay in my room. I'm gonna go get a towel."

*She sets off for the wash room.*

Mortal was entirely red, and Dawn was almost as red with anger. "Knock? This is my house, not yours. Why the hell are you two doing this in here anyway? Keep your filth to your own room, not in the damn wash room you uncouth whores."

"Do you have two beds?" Zac asked, figuring she probably didn't.

~Lesalia~

*Euryale lets out a sigh.*

"I'm simply saying that, although you probably saw Noctis downstairs, it was entirely possible that Mortal was using the tub. Which she was. The basic point of knocking is so that you don't walk in on embarrassing situations. If you need to take a bath yourself, we can get out. And don't worry, we haven't done anything. Yet"

"I do not, but I have some extra pillows & blankets."

"No, stay, I can't bathe so soon after you two soiled the room," She said, face showing disgust, "Just make sure you have the maids scrub the tub when you're done." With that she turned and left, closing the door behind her.

Mortal was in the other corner of the tub, curled up, hugging her knees to her chest.

"Are you afraid I'll hog the covers?" Zac joked.

*Euryale heads over & puts her arm around Mortal's head.*

"I'm sorry about...that. I hope I handled things alright."

"You'll be sleeping on the floor, obviously."

Zac chuckled, "I figured as much." He looked around the room, "So, is this where you grew up?"

"Better than I did, or would have anyway," Mortal said. "I feel like I owe her a lot, despite how horrible she is, so I have a hard time being confrontational with her."

~Limberry~

"Yeah. I think it's a pretty place. The stone inside has a warm, orange hue. While, on the outside, it's almost white. It's a shame it doesn't have an aqueduct like that in Eagrose, though."

"Mortal, let me ask you a question: If a man gives you a flower, then stabs you seven times in the chest, is it wrong to confront him? After all, you owe him for that flower. I'm not saying you should attack her, least of all on my account. But don't let people deceive you into thinking you owe them some kind of special treatment. Respect is earned through one's actions."

*She hugs Mortal closer.*

"Sorry to be so preachy. I'd just hate to see your good nature taken advantage of."

Mortal leaned on Euryale for support, "But it isn't just a flower. It was the roof over my head, the school I went to, almost my entire life as a human."

"It is beautiful," Zac said, "It must have been nice growing up here."

"Well, it's an analogy. But I imagine that you're attributing things to that woman that she was probably forced into providing. There's an old saying...'The King would be always right, except for the fact that he's married.'"

*She points to a robe on the wall.*

"Not to change the subject, but do you mind if I wear one of those to bed?"

"It was. But lately...whatever happens, I cannot let Limberry be taken by an enemy. Not even the Lucavi."

"You must feel strongly about this," Zac said, "I'll help in whatever way I can."

"I think Noctis had the most to do with it, and Divum is the one with the real power to make it happen, but Dawn never said no, she just kind of complained, and even then, not about the things that the family did for me," Mortal then looked up at the robe and let out a sigh, figuring that the mood was entirely gone, "Yes, sure. You can wear whatever you want."

The next day....

~Limberry~

*Lilith awoke with her usual case of bad hair in a small room, about 15x10. She had just her bed & a dresser there, & there were no windows. She throws off the covers, revealing that she's some kind of weirdo who sleeps with her sword, & rubs her eyes.*

~Lesalia~

*Euryale wakes up to find her arm around Mortal, & her robe still askew from claiming her rightful title. Stretching, she gets up & removes it, hanging it up wherever. She then sets to opening the package from earlier.*

Zac let out a small yawn and sat up, back cracking along the way, apparently not agreeing with the comforts of the floor. "Good morning, beautiful," Zac said, rubbing his eyes as well.

Mortal's eyes open slowly and land upon the lovely sight of Euryale, stark, and walking around her room. Mortal simply smiled and watched, "Good morning."

OOC: She finished, so she earned it.

"Good morning. Sleep well?"

*Euryale removes something black from the package & begins to put it on over her head.*

*Lilith blushes.*

"G-good morning. This part's going to be trickier. The castle is active now, so it's harder to avoid people."

"Better than I've ever slept," Mortal said.

Zac let out a small yawn, "I could sneak out the window." He then looked around, "Obviously I am mistaken about that."

~Limberry~

"Yeah, I'm not important enough to get a room with a view. Mom has one, though."

"Good to hear!"

*Euryale smooths out the legs of her dress & turns around. It is a lot like a black tube, beginning just under her arms & extending down about an inch above her knees.*

"So, how do I look?"

"Are you suggesting we sneak into your mother's room?" Zac asked.

"I love it," Mortal said, "The design seems so... futuristic."

~Limberry~

"What? No. What? We just sneak out, & hope no one notices you."

*She opens the door, & an extremely pale knight with gaunt features, blonde hair, & purple armor is on the other side.*

"God damn it, Argath, what are you doing sneaking around my--wait--Argath...?"

Argath<Is there something you wanted to tell me, Psyche?>

"N-no, it's nothing. Anyway, what are you--"

Argath<I heard a voice. A male voice. I thought you might have snuck someone in. You know, the castle isn't a hiding place for you to whore around in.>

"Thanks. I know they're not very popular, but I just can't see the sense in wearing something that restricts my movement too much."

OOC: The design is modern, but I'm sure it can't be that hard to make, so it is believable in an alternate universe setting.

Zac tightened his fist at Argath's insult, but kept quiet, and out of sight, since apparently he was unseen from the doorway.

"No, I actually like it a lot," Mortal said, "The dresses people usually wear are always so heavy. To speak nothing of those ribcage breaking corsets that go with them," Mortal stood up, walked over and kissed Euryale good morning. "Lets go get some breakfast," Mortal suggested, opening a few drawers and pulling out hosen, and some simple clothes and getting dressed.

*Clyde pulls out a potion and drinks it to heal himself. As he's surrounded, there isn't much else he can do without getting slaughtered.*

~Warjilis~

*The other thieves begin to file into the ventilation grate, leaving just Zerro. The charmed archer keeps a bow trained on Clyde & the charmed monk stands by the grate. Zerro throws a paper airplane at Minimas, which bounces off of his chest.*

Zerro<My good count, you can send the amount of Gil on that paper out into the Tor. Don't worry, I shall receive it. Pleasure doing business with you.>

*Euryale waits for Mortal, then descends the stairs with her.*

"I'll keep that in mind."

<I'll be searching your room now.>

"Excuse me? You may outrank me, but you don't have that kind of author--"

<I do now. I'm the Marquis's second-in-command.>

"What? Since when?!"

<Since he came back from the front.>

*He pushes past her, into the room.*

<Well, well...look who we have here. Judging from those clothes, you don't even have the decency to stay with your own kind. Rather, you just picked up peasant trash off of the streets. You're a shame to us all.>

"I'm sorry, it was raining badly outside yesterday and Lilith was just showing me a small kindness," Zac said, "I swear nothing happened."

They come upon Noct sitting at the head of the dinner table, head in her hands. Looking up through her hanging bangs she notices Mortal and Euryale, "Did you two have a good night?"

Mortal smiled, "I like to think so. But you look like death, what happened?"

"I passed out after nine glasses, came to sometime in the early morning, finished off the bottle, then passed out again."

"You finished an entire bottle of wine by yourself?" Mortal asked.

"No, Sab came over," Noct said, "She is still asleep."
