*Monudon turns around to see if anything else of interest is around*

Monudon:[Might as well head for the magic portal if I can't find anything interesting.]

"Well, that sounded a bit spooky," Sab said.

Mortal looked up at the sky, then shrugged, "Hey, don't judge me."

Noct frowned, "Dammit." She used a scroll of The Moon on the crab, then slashed at the shark four times.

*Euryale shrugs.*

Euryale: Anyway, I gotta go for the night.

*The crab collapses as it turns yellow & z's begin escaping from it. The shark reeled from the surprise attack, then tried to do a flip to hit Noctis with its tail.*

*Johnny, the Stray Grunty, is galloping across the bridge. He stands on his hind legs & kicks his forelegs up in the air, before settling down & walking in the other direction.*

*Monudon runs over and talks to Johnny*

Monudon:<Got anything to say Johnny?>

Noct tries to parry the attack, then counterattacks.

Mortal nodded, "Yea, we should probably get out of here too."

"Yea," Sab said, "I had fun today. Good night you two." Mortab gates out to town, then logs off.

Johnny<I've never seen you around here before. Who...are you?>

*Now that she's closer, she can also see another Stray Grunty putzing along near the weapon shop.*

*Euryale & Thiera follow suit, having nothing else to do.*

*Half-dead, the shark begins trying to swim away from Noctis.*

Noct chases it down, and does the quadruple slash again.

Monudon:<I'm Monudon.>

*The shark sinks to the ground before turning gray & vanishing. The crab is still asleep.*

Johnny<I'll die if I stop. STOP TALKING TO ME!>

Noct goes over to the crab and attacks with another quadruple slash.

*Monudon laughs and heads for the other stray grunty*

*I forgot to mention that Noctis is running low on SP, so I'll mention that now. But if she keeps physically attacking it, it should go down before it wakes up. This would still leave the treasure chest, & the dead end.*

*The Grunty keeps walking, apparently not noticing her.*

Noct does that, fist pumps, then goes to get the chest.

*Blake makes his way up the hill.*

*As he goes over the hill, he can hear the sound of a Magic Portal activating. 3 armored women with spears rush over the hill & begin to surround him.*

*The chest contains The Devil.*

*Blake draws his axe and gets into a fighting stance.*

*Monudon goes over and talks to the grunty*

Monudon:<Hello there!>

Fist pump, she then leaves through the door she came in through, since it is a dead end.

*The Grunty turns, gets on its hind legs, & kicks the air.*

<The name's Sal, the Straty Grunty, don'tcha know?>

*This leaves only one other exit to explore.*
====================================
*One of the Fresh Valkyries stabs at his back while the other swings down at his front.*

Monudon:<Hi Sal! I'm Monudon.>

*He tries to evade, and then swings at the one in front of him.*

Noct goes that way.

<Ya raisin' Young-uns in the stable out yonder? Them's be mine, don'tcha know. Ye'd better raise 'em good.>

*He gets stabbed in the back while he's under the mistaken impression that he's a Twin Blade. The Valkyrie he hits stabs him, while the third one tries to stab him in the side opposite of his axe.*
