Thiera: But doesn't that take away from your own time?

Euryale: Not if you're having fun. Besides, I'll get plenty of experience. That area isn't bad for my level. It's just challenging enough to gain safe experience.

*Euryale begins to head back to the Chaos Gate. Thiera follows.*

Creed follows, "You get to meet lot's of new people to the game and help make their first experiences with it pleasant ones. What more could someone ask for? Connecting people through smiles, that's my philosophy."

Kelphy: <Are you picking Mushrooms for when the new server opens?>

Monudon:< No, I was trying to kill these mushrooms but APPARENTLY they're not enemies.>

*Monudon looks slightly embarrassed*

Noct gets to the gate. "Closed Geothermal Hypha."

Mortal is still following the others, and Sab is following Mortal.

*Noctis emerges to what is quickly resembling a parade in a prairie field.*

*At the Chaos Gate, Euryale inputs Beautiful Smiling New Truth. Her party is then teleported to yet another prairie field. Only as soon as they enter, a pink flower with teeth is running towards Thiera's back. The words "BATTLE MODE" begin scrolling across the top & bottom of the screen, & the music becomes tenser.*

*Monudon waves*

Monudon:< Welcome to the party!>

"Heads up Thiera" Creed alerts Thiera to the approaching enemy.

Mortab follows through.

Noct ignores the shit out of them and begins to head off, looking for monsters.

*Mortab appears on the other side of the Mad Grass, which Thiera blasts with a water tornado. As it's frozen, Euryale brings her sword down, slicing it in half. It turns gray & "melts" into the air.*

Thiera: Good God, that was horrifying.

*Two more Mad Grasses begin running up from a hill behind Creed.*

*Noctis doesn't hear the latter half. As she is running, she sees various large mushrooms, & the occasional rock stuck in the ground. A golden Magic Portal becomes visible, swirling in the distance.*

Noct goes to the magic portal.

Mortal runs at one and swings her sword at it. She may or may not have screamed 'Leeeeeeeroy Jenkins!' as she did.

*Monudon yells after Noct*

Monudon:< Nice to meet you too!>

Still ignored.

Creed turns in time to see them but not avoid damage. He retaliates with a downward stab.

*Monudon shakes his head*

Monudon:< Some people.>

*Mortal's character begins glowing & z's come out of her. She finds she can't move. But this stops a second or two later.*

Thiera: Man, you have really bad luck. But why did it wear off so soon?

Euryale: Creed killed the monster who cast Mumyn Lei on her.

*Thiera turns orange & z's begin coming from her head.*

Euryale: We really need to pay attention during these fights.

*The Magic Portal makes a noise like vacuum pressure being released as it enlarges. It vanishes in a bright flash of light, & 2 Red Wyrms emerge, flying towards Noctis.*

Bear: I guess not everyone who plays the game is sociable.

Mortal doesn't know what the crap happened, and just runs off at the other one to attack it. Sab uses Juk Rom on it.

Noct attacked one of the wyrms.

"Know what would be awesome? A skill for the heavy blades that let's us uppercut the targeted enemy skyward and make them fall on our swords. It'd be a fricken sweet crit. kill animation too" Creed shoots the breeze while baseball swinging at an incoming enemy.

Euryale: You can get pretty close.

*As Mortal killed the Mad Grass, everything was peaceful for the time being.*

Thiera: Howso?

Euryale: Well, I could swing upward, & then stab. Or I could somersault.

Thiera: With that big sword?

Euryale: That's why skills take SP.

*The Red Wyrm's health goes way down & it retaliates with flame breath, which takes off about 25% of her HP. The other one flanks her & does a spinning attack.*

Noct finishes off the weakened wyrm.

"So wait, I can do that too?" Mortal asked.

Hector exchanged member addresses with Barrow.

"I never actually tried that out."

Monudon:< I guess. So, do we want to get moving?>

*The mushroom attacks Hector with one of its scythelike arms.*

*The Wyrm drops to the ground, turns gray, & then "melts" away. The other Wyrm bites Noctis.*

Euryale: Yeah. By expending SP, you can perform maneuvers that are much stronger than usual. You just select them from the attack skills menu. Also, if you have spells, then for expending even more SP, you can combine one of those attack skills with that spell. Say a somersault that is a fire-element attack, or a spinning slash that might inflict poison. The exception is Wavemasters, who have no physical attack skills.

*Monudon turns to Kelphy and Blake*
