*Barrow invites Hector to a party and swings his axe at the mushroom.*

"Huh, I've been playing for awhile and I never knew that" Creed scratches his head.

*A red streak emerges from the mushroom as he connects with it & it groans. It then begins swaying back & forth, holding its arms above itself.*

Thiera: I think you mean newbish.

Euryale: As a matter of fact, I do not.

Bear: I also have some free time, if you need help.

Monudon:< I'm not sure if I'll need help, but company is always nice. Why don't we finish this area, and then head for the new server?>

"I know right? Maybe I just got caught up in helping new members to the game I never really decided to fully check out what I myself could do ha ha ha..."

"Well, now I want to find something to try that out on!" Mortal said, a bit excited.

Sab was a bit happy that Mortal was enjoying herself, and let a small smile dance across her face.

Noct downs a potion, or whatever its called, then attacks the last dragon.

Bear: I'm a gentleman, but not a pushover. If you're fine by yourself, I think I'll log out for the day.

*Bear gives a little wave, then Gates Out.*

Euryale: Then we'll have to find a Magic Portal. Look for a golden glyph floating above the field. When you get close, it will release monsters. Although, sometimes they leave behind treasure instead.

*A red spurt exits from the point she strikes, taking 35% of the Wyrm's health with it. The monster stands its ground (so to speak) & bites her.*

Noct stabs at it again.

Mortal looks around to see if she can find anything matching the description.

Monudon:< Alrighty, thanks for the help.>

*There is nothing visible in the immediate area. They are in a clearing surrounded on most sides by small hills.*

Euryale: They tend to position most of them out-of-view from the others. If we had a Fairy's Orb, we could make them appear on the map.

"But can't we just run around until we find them?" Mortal asked, "Why waste the money?"

"It saves time, and makes leveling up faster," Sab explained.

Noct goes off looking for another portal.

Monudon:<Do ether of you want a mushroom? They're getting on my nerves.>

*A Twin Blade with black hair & black & red clothing Gates In to the area Monudon is in.*

<Mushroom! ...Mushroom! ...Mushroom!>

*He quickly turns & snatches up the 2 remaining mushrooms.*

*As Noctis is running, she spies a mushroom even larger than the other ones, with a Magic Portal near it. On her map, she can see that she's getting closer to the dungeon icon.*

Euryale: Like a lot of things in The World, you can do it either way, & they each have their pros & cons.

*Euryale sheathes her sword behind her back. Although what she puts it through is a mystery, given her very literal use of the term chest plate.*

Creed does the same thing though there's clearly leather straps hanging from the back of his armor for it.

*Monudon nods in greeting*

Noct didn't really know if she was ready to Solo a dungeon here, so she decided to continue on looking for something more her speed.

Hector accepted the invitation and skipped back away from the mushroom's attack. At the same time he drew his cutlass and gave it a playful flourish.

Euryale: Yeah. Let's go that way.

*Euryale points in a seemingly random direction.*

Thiera: Uhh...why?

Euryale: If you toggle your map function, you'll notice that's where the Spring of Myst is. Not only can one of you upgrade a piece of equipment, but they tend to put Magic Portals around them.

Thiera: Is it just me, or are game designers somewhat malicious?

*Since she didn't specify what direction she went in, I'm going to assume she triggered the Magic Portal. Out of it emerges a cerberus-type monster.*

Zalera: ...Were you seriously not aware that Grunty Food stops shouting if you pick it up or move away from it?

*A blue Saiyan-style aura of light rushes over the musrhoom, healing its wounds. It then takes a few steps & makes another attack on Hector.*

"No, risk/reward and all that."

Hector took a step forward and met the mushroom's attack with a slash of his cutlass.

"I wouldn't say malicious, but the do know how to make things hard," Sab said.

Noct goes God of War on the bitch, only, probably, less ultra-violent and bloody.

*Whatever that means, it begins biting at her with its 3 sets of teeth.*

*The monster turns gray & falls over, melting away.*

Thiera: Well, you have the swords, so lead the way.

*Euryale sets off. As they're running, they come across a bolder, & a head-sized mushroom turns towards them.*

<Mushroom!>

"That was terribly easy," Hector said, stepping past the dead mushroom.

Mortal tries to pick it up because it is funny lookin'.
