"Does anyone want it?" Noct asked, in reference to the chest.

Luna: I do not possess a Fortune Wire.

Thiera: Neither do I...but you know, if someone were to open the chest, I could heal them, & then we could wait for my SP to regenerate.

*Luna turns to her.*

Luna: Why would we do that?

Thiera: It seemed cost-efficient.

Luna: Cheap. Lazy.

Thiera: (...It was just a suggestion. I'm sorry.)

*The Valkyrie that Mortab is attacking dies, but not before leaving Mortal in the red zone. After being slashed, the other Valkyrie stabs Euryale in the chest. Euryale hefts her blade over her shoulder for a second, downward strike, at which point, the Valkyrie stabs at her again. Euryale shifts the blade slightly to intercept the spear, turning it into a glancing blow along her shoulder, & taking less damage.*

"I don't have a fortune wire either," Noct said, "That leaves Thiera's plan as the only one that'll work." Noct walked over an opened up the chest.

Mortal attacks the Valkyrie attacking Euryale, while Sab uses a La Repth.

*Monudon gates out of the field*

*Yellow gas pours out of the chest, putting Noctis to sleep. Thiera waves her staff, curing it. The chest vanishes once open.*

~Noctis obtains a Fortune Wire!~

Luna: I just think that this is a waste of time, for something that we could buy for cheap.

Thiera: But, for all intents & purposes, we have to complete a dungeon to get extra money.

Luna: I will concede that point.

*The duo is mostly healed as they take down the Valkyrie, going up 3 levels.*

*Monudon finds himself back in Dun Loireag. Out on the horizon, dozens of kite trails take off, flying up into the sky.*

*Monudon heads over to the item shop*

"It isn't that much of a waste of time either," Noct said, "Especially considering we have a large party. And now I have a fortune wire, so it'll make the next one I come across no problem at all."

I'm not sure if there are still Valkyries left. If so, they repeat their attacks on it. If not, high fives all around.

*Either way, all Valkyries are all dead now.*

*The item shop is a relatively short walk from the Chaos Gate. Coming towards him on the bridge are a Heavy Axeman with bulky, green armor; & a Twin Blade with long, curly red hair in a pink outfit reminiscent of a tutu.*

Luna: Understood. Where should we search next?

"I'm not sure," Noct said, "Does anyone have a Fairy's Orb?"

"So, where to next?" Sab asked.

*Monudon politely nods to both of them, then enters the shop*

Euryale: We could keep going in this direction, until the map starts to loop back in on itself.

Luna: Euryale said she was going to buy them.

Thiera: Yes, and when no one asked her for any, I just assumed you already had a plan.

*There is no entrance, it's a small room carved into a rock face, with a shopkeeper sitting at a counter facing outwards.*

*Monudon goes up to the counter and talk to the shopkeeper*

Monudon:<Hello there.>

Noct just chuckled, "Well, that was silly of us... How about we head towards the dungeon?"

"Alright then," Mortal starts running off in that direction.

Shopkeeper: Good evening. How may I help you?

*She starts running in that direction.*

*This pays off. It's only a short 50 foot dash before they encounter a second Magic Portal. Unfortunately, when it opens, it lets out 4 ghosts.*

Euryale: That...looks like trouble.

Sab uses a Juk Rom, and Mortal slashes down with a flaming sword on one of the ghosts. "Should we keep fighting, or flee?" Sab asked.

Monudon:<I'd like to sell 3 grunty dolls please.>

Item Shopkeeper: I will take those for 750 total GP.

*Euryale runs towards the ghosts, hefts her sword up, & slashes down on the ground, throwing up boulders.*

Euryale: I don't know. It'll be difficult to damage them without thunder magic.

*The ghosts choose to retaliate, all lashing at Mortal or Euryale, to bite them.*

*There are no Magic Portals immediately obvious around the dungeon.*

Monudon:<Excellent!>

*Monudon gives the 3 grunty dolls to the shopkeeper*

Mortal dove backwards to avoid the attack before repeating her own, "We have Sab to heal us; we should be fine."

Sab used another Juk Rom as well.

Noct heads into the dungeon.

*...And gets 750 GP back.*

Shopkeeper: Is there anything else I can do for you?

*Mortal just narrowly avoids being bitten. Euryale is not so lucky. Her HP doesn't take much damage, but her SP immediately halves. She stabs at one of the ghosts, but misses. The two in the back release pulsing glyphs of purple energy over their heads.*
