Cabin in the Woods

*Monu and Cameron enter the room with Hector and Eduj's room*

Monu:<Hey, do you mind if the two of us room with you?>

*Monu points at himself and Cameron. Outside, Tirea and Eve stare around at the remaining rooms*

Eve:<You sure you don't want to bunk with your cousin?>

Tirea:<Not enough money in the world.>

Eve:<Let's find someone else to room with then.>

*Tirea and Eve look around to see who's around*

*As stated earlier, there is one in every room, & the rooms are identical.*

*Thiera comes in.*

T"We're not all going to be in the same bed, are we?"

R"I don't know what else we'd do. See if we can find spare blankets, & take turns sleeping on the floor? We're kind of lost in the woods, here."

*Suddenly, the light in the living room goes out. The good news is, the foxes have finally stopped screaming.*

Mimiru: "What is that idiot doing?"

Azuma: Odd...

Azuma flips the breaker back on then goes and looks in the ice box.

Eve:<Let's go put our stuff down, then we can ask around.>

Tirea:<Sounds like a plan!>

*Eve and Tirea enter an empty room, and put their backpacks on the dresser*

*That is when the lights come back on.*

E"Once we've finished checking the cabin to make sure it's okay, let's just get some sleep. We can search for a place to make a call in the morning."

*The ice box contains tons of frozen steaks.*

Azuma: Probably safe to eat and not made of anything other than beef or some cloven forest dweller.

Azuma closes the ice box and goes back upstairs.

Azuma: "Terrible news, everybody. No corpse."

Astarte was basically asleep by now, and still in a seated position.

"Not a problem," Hector said, looking through the dresser. "We will probably have to take turns using the bed, and the others will have to get comfortable with the floor in the meantime."

R"So...how's this goin' down?"

T"That girl, me, you, & then Nero. And if you say anything about 'sleeping with 2 girls,' you get the couch."

*She points at Nero.*

R"I guess that could work."

E"And that's a bad thing why? What did you find in the basement? Anything useful?"

Azuma: "I was willing to bet money on the discovery of one."

Mimiru: "Too bad. That'd been easy money."

Azuma: "Anywho, found a fuse box and a deep freeze stocked with steaks."

Cameron:<Alright, sounds like a plan.>

Monu:<We should probably introduce ourselves. I'm Monu, and this is Cameron.>

*Eve and Tirea exit their room*

Tirea:<What's this about steak?>

E"Is that really all that's down there? A fuse box and a bunch of steaks? I mean, it's good that we won't starve any time soon, but it just seems odd to dig a whole second level just for that."

Eve:<It could just be an unused storage area.>

Astarte started to lie down, simultaneously curling up into a ball.

"Nice to meet you," Hector nodded to them, and then jerked a thumb towards Eduj. "This is Eduj, and I am Hector."

Azuma: "That's it. Wouldn't be too out of the ordinary if there were power lines around unless there's a damn reactor under the house."

E"If we have electricity, it makes sense that we have a fuse box, wherever the power is coming from. Well, if you're sure that's everything, then there's nothing to do but go to bed."

*Thiera climbs into bed beside her.*

Azuma: "Might be a good idea. So I take it since there isn't a room for everybody, we buddy up and huddle together like rodents."

Thiera would find that Astarte took up very little room on the bed, and was already asleep.

E"I pick her."

*She points to Taiyo.*

*With little else to do, Roatha & Nero turn off the lights & follow suit.*

N"Wanna spoon?"

R"Shut up."

Taiyo: "What?"

Azuma: "What a great meet and greet. G'night."

Azuma heads down the hall.

Mimiru: "Yay. Stuck with that mutt."

E"I don't have anyone else to sleep with. Please?"

*As Eve & Tirea presumably enter her room, a pissed-off Vanessa emerges with a pillow & sheet & throws them on the couch.*

Taiyo: "Okay."

Azuma: "No arbritary my side of the bed, your side rules?"

Mimiru: "You think I don't trust you to keep your hands to yourself?"

Azuma: "It's you I don't trust."

Mimiru: "Shut up."

*The next day, Nero gets up out of bed & heads out into the living room to look out of a window into the dim light of the forest.*

N"I can't tell if it's sunrise or sunset."

*He checks his phone.*

N"...Or neither. I guess that's why they call it the 'black forest.'"

*Vanessa hurls her pillow at him. It misses & hits the door, as her glasses are sitting on the crates.*

V"Shut the Hell up! I'm trying to sleep, here!"

*At some point in her sleep, Astarte has rolled over & is now face-to-face with Thiera.*

*Euryale is sleeping with her arm around Taiyo, either because she fell asleep like that, or because she moves bout in her sleep.*

Taiyo is cuddled up close to Euryale. As are Azuma and Mimiru in their own room.

Astarte continued to sleep peacefully.

Stefan also got out of bed now and joined Nero in the living room, giving a brief greeting to the pair while heading to the kitchen.

*Cameron wanders out of his room into the kitchen*

<(Nice to see we didn't get eaten in our sleep. Hungry?>

*Eve also exits her room, and heads to the living room, and upon seeing Nero and Vanessa, she nods in their direction*

<Good morning. Everyone feeling rested?>

*Ether Monu nor Tirea are early risers, and thus are still asleep*
