Cabin in the Woods

"...Hey. I don't think we've properly met yet. My name's Euryale."

*She holds her arms out towards Mimiru.*

*Nero returns from the bathroom & turns on the stove.*

Hector was already going about preparing his own food and a can of water. He ignored Nero entirely.

Stefan sat down on the couch and let out a sigh.

Astarte was now trying to go back to sleep, but encountering some difficulty.

*Eve nods at Stefan, then heads into the kitchen. Monu smiles at Vanessa before getting up and heading into the living room to join Stefan*

Monu<Long day, huh?>

*Tirea remains by Vanessa, making sure she's not about to freak out again*

*To say Nero was ignoring Hector would imply that he gave enough shits to notice Hector in the first place. He proceeds to heat up a can of spam.*

*At some point, Roatha wakes up & exits the room, leaving Thiera & Astarte alone. He will probably come to regret this decision when Astarte takes Thiera's innocence.*

Azuma: "Anything besides spam and beans? I think someone has lima beans yesterday."

Mimiru extends a hand to Euryale, trying to hide the confusion brought on by Euryale raising her arms.

Mimiru: "Mimiru."

Hector left the kitchen with a can of water and a can of heated beans as well as a fork.

"A long two days, really," Stefan nodded. "I'm pretty sure whoever owned this cabin before went crazy. I feel like I'm pretty exhausted. Mentally."

Astarte did no such thing, but continued to have trouble sleeping.

OOC: DYSTALTM.

N"Oi, Roatha, you're just in time. I need someone to come with me to go looking for the crash site again. Someone who isn't a big enough baby to run away from noises in the woods."

*Euryale slowly lowers her arms, looking slightly disappointed. She then shakes Mimiru's hand.*

Azuma: "All right, that's cool. I can find out myself."

Azuma rummages through the cupboards.

Mimiru shakes Euryale's hand. Upon letting go she looks over at Taiyo.

Mimiru: "This whole ordeal's got her pretty spooked."

Hector joined the others in the living room and silently ate his food.

Monu<Maybe. Still, at least we are all here, and not out in the woods. Although, it we stay here, we may never be found.>

*Eve stands in the door way, trying to get her thoughts in order*

*Spam. Beans.*

R"What's this about noises in the woods?"

N"Some of these loons think there was something in the cabin, and it went into the forest. There was also a dead fox involved."

"Yeah....I guess it probably didn't help that I said there might be evil spirits in the forest."

*Eve slowly enters the kitchen*

Eve<The fox's eyes were gone, probably scratched out by another fox or something.>

Azuma: "Great..."

Mimiru: "And that idiot, Azuma saying something about escaped lunatics."@

Stefan nodded solemnly.

Astarte finally decided to get up and go to the bathroom to use the toilet. She timidly entered the hall and rushed to the bathroom, hardly making any noise as she moved.

N"Looks like it's probably just going to be you & me."

R"Oh what fun."

*Roatha heads over to get something to eat. He gets 2 cans, figuring Thiera will wake up soon. Spam for himself, peas for her.*

E"Maybe Nero is right. Maybe the only dangerous thing out here is our own imaginations."

Astarte ducked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

"So, what should we do?" Eduj looked to Hector. "We can't do much in here."
"I know, but going out could be dangerous, we should give it some time," Hector replied after swallowing some of his food.

Mimiru: "I don't think our imaginations resulted in a dead fox sitting on the doorstep. Then out in the forest. Not the voices and lights thing, but garbage bags hanging from trees is pretty out there."

E"No one told me about any garbage bags hanging from trees."

Mimiru: "I walked into some when we went looking for you guys. Nothing ordinary at all about this place."

Eve:<We're not scared.>

Monu:<We should stay until we have a better plan, I suppose.>

N"Whatever. C'mon, Roatha."

*Roatha turns off the burner for Thiera's food, takes his own with him, & the duo head to the door, Nero having had gotten his stuff while on the bathroom run.*

E"Well, the bags may have been tied up to keep animals out of them. You know, back when...whoever used this cabin."

OOC: The time sequence for Cabin in the Woods is supposed to be vague. Therefore, the Town Section of the plot will skip around a lot, & won't be entirely congruent with the Forest Section.

*Aroma wakes up to get ready for a morning class, with dawn still a couple hours away. As part of her morning routine, she gets on the computer, & begins scrolling through the news for both Ulm & Pforzheim.*

Mimiru: "I guess."

Taiyo starts to stir.

"Wait, you're going to take an open can of hot food with you?" Hector asked as the duo moved to the door. "Even if there isn't anything too dangerous out there, don't you think the smell is going to attract wildlife?"

N"Ignore him. Nothing worse than backseat drivers. Especially when they don't even get in the car."

OOC: Oh shit, that is my cue.

Sab woke up with a long yawn and looked over to see Aroma on the computer. She stood up, and walked over, "Good morning, Aroma. What are you up to?"
