Cabin in the Woods

"So, what does that say?" Hector asked from the couch. Eduj returned from the door and sat down somewhere.

Astarte curled up into a tighter ball.

Monu:<It's a list of the weird stuff that happened.>

*Monu passes the note to Hector so he can see*

Cameron:<I'll write down what happens over our shift.>

"Interesting..." Hector said as he read the list.

*A couple hours in to a boring watch, the lights start to flicker.*

*Meanwhile, Euryale stirs & sits up in bed.*

*A little less than an hour later, Aroma awakens, making this the most exciting post in the history of the board.*

Taiyo is still very much asleep, curled up and wrapped in her hoodie.

*Seconds later, there's a loud crashing noise in Taiyurle's bedroom.*

Taiyo, tangled up in her hoodie falls off the bed when she gets up.

Taiyo: "What was that?"

In their room, Azuma and Mimiru sit up.

Azuma: "The hell was that?"

Mimiru already hopped out of bed and went to investigate.

Hector held his flashlight ready and looked around the room.

*Looking up at the bed, Taiyo can't make out much in the darkness, but it doesn't look as though Euryale is in it.*

*He spies Mimiru walking down the hallway.*

"Hey, what was that noise?" He called out to Mimiru. Eduj was now on his feet, looking around with mild alarm.

Taiyo: "Euryale?"

Taiyo climbs on to the bed and looks over the other side.

Mimiru: "That's a stupid question. If I knew I wouldn't be going to find out."

*Someone can be seen sprawled on the floor, slowly crawling away from the bed.*

Taiyo: "Euryale!"

Taiyo crawls off the bed and goes after what she percieves to be Euryale.

During the hour Sab had already woke up, and was just coming out of the shower.

Noct and Mortal decided to go down to the track field where they met up with Gabriel, practicing per usual. After a quick trip to the showers for Gabe, the three girls began to make their way over to the dining hall.

"You know, you seem kind of happy Noct," Gabe said, "I'm happy you're taking the loss well."

"It isn't that," Noct said, "I'm just in a good mood... And thanks for not making it seem like it was weird for me to be happy."

"Listen, I just thought it was unusual that you weren't scowling at the world, like you usually do. I mean, I'm happy you're happy, but you have to admit even when you're in a good mood, you're usually still kind of upset looking," Mortal said.

Gabe chuckled, "Well, I think it is a good thing. You looking happy kind of makes me happy. Like everything is going to be okay."

*Euryale does not respond, because she's busy breathing heavily, but when Taiyo gets close enough, she can tell that it is, indeed, her.*

"Good morning, Sab."

Taiyo: "Euryale. What happened? Are you okay?"

"Good morning, Aroma," Sab said, drying her hair a bit more, "I didn't wake you up with the shower did I?"

When the trio arrived in the dining hall they noticed that they were serving steak and eggs. Mortal smiled, and said, "Maybe there is something to this smiling Noct equals good things theory after all."

"I...I got up to use the bathroom, &...."

*She catches her breath.*

"But when I got up, I couldn't...my legs just felt so weak, & I toppled right over."

"No, I guess it was just time to get up."

Taiyo grabs Euryale's arm and puts it around her, attempting to help her to her feet.

AND SO THEY ATE AND HAD MUCH MERRIMENT!

"Good, I didn't want to wake you up," Sab said with a smile, "You looked peaceful sleeping, so I thought you were having a good dream."

Hector rose up from his seated position and walked into the hall, heading to Euryale's room, "Do you know which room it came from? This one?"

"I think you were in it."

*Euryale rises shakily to her feet with Taiyo's help. She looks away as she tries to get her breathing under control.*

Taiyo: "Take your time."

Mimiru: "The one the shouting Euryale's name is coming from?"

Hector opened the door- only partially- and looked inside, "What's the problem?"

Sab blushed, "Well, umm, was it a good dream?"
