Cabin in the Woods

Monu:<Well, it's been a while. How long was each watch shift again?>

Cameron:<6 hours maybe?>

*Monu shrugs in response*

<We could go to both, if you'd like. But it might be kind of costly to pay for both lunch, & then tickets later.>

*Nero comes into the living room, followed by Roatha.*

R"Is the third watch even over yet?"

N"Well, I'm up, so who cares? Let's get something to eat, then call it Go Time."

*Cameron waves in greeting and Monu heads to Tirea and Eve's room, knocking quietly on the door*

Monu:<(Wakey-wakey time.)>

*Inside, Tirea groans and rolls over, however Eve actual gets up*

Eve:<(We'll be right now.)>

Monu:<(Tell me if you need help waking Tirea out.)>

*Eve puts on her coat, then starts trying to get Tirea out of bed. Monu heads back to the couch*

"So, who's going out to the forest?" Hector asked. "I'm pretty exhausted."

N"I was just going to wait until the girls wake up, & take them."

"Alright, then," Hector said, staying where he was.

"Oh, I actually just got some money the other day from my dad," Sab said, "They keep giving me money to buy warm clothes..."

*Eve finally gets Tirea up and the two exit the room, then head out to the others*

Monu:<I'd go, but I am pretty tired..>

*Monu waves good morning at Eve and Tirea*

"Well, it is getting colder outside...are you sure you want to spend it today?"

*Nero heads over to the stove & turns it on, which causes a momentary flickering of lights through the kitchen & living room. Meanwhile, Thiera emerges from the hallway, groggy, & with disheveled hair.*

T"Why is Vanessa sleeping in the bathtub?"

"Yeah, it'll be fun," Sab said with a smile.

Cameron:<Because she doesn't want to be around anyone else.>

Astarte emerged soon after Thiera, arms folded over her chest and her eyes flicking nervously around the room. Hector stared at her for a few moments and sighed.

T"Well, nevermind that. What's this about your suicidal plan to run headlong into a monster-infested forest?"

N"Oh, come on! It's not going to just sit around outside of the door, waiting for us to come out. And even if it does, we have to brave the outside world eventually. Remember, as far as we know, no one knows we're out here. Also, I'm sick of eating spam."

Eve:<I'm sure we've been missed by now, everyone will probably assume we all died in the crash, and if not I doubt anyone will be able to find us out here.>

*Eve pauses for a second*

<And I'd personality rather die from a monster attack than freeze or starve. Both of which will eventually happen if we don't get out of here.>

*Tirea waves at Astarte*

<Feeling better?>

Astarte shrugged weakly. Stefan emerged from his room and walked into the kitchen to get food. He didn't look too shaken or tired, but rather seemed purposeful and energetic.

*Roatha begins heating up a can as well.*

R"Hungry?"

T"I'll just share with you."

N"Well, just as a precaution, let's do your retarded magic water plan before we go."

R"Euryale's still asleep."

N"Well, wake her ass up."

T"She needs her rest."

N"All we need is for her to babble some nonsense over a thing of water, she can go right back to sleep after she does that."

"Euryale does need her rest, but Nero is right," Hector said, standing up. "Whatever we do, we should do it sooner rather than later. I'll go in Astarte's place, too."

Eve:<I'm definitely going.>

Cameron:<I'm sure as hell not sitting around.>

*Tirea gives Astarte a quick hug before walking over to stand beside Monu*

*Fast forward to lunch time, Sabroma are presumably heading out of the apartment.*

"So, what do you want to get to eat?"

*Nero looks at Hector with a shocked & disgusted face.*

N"Ew. Do you have to?"

*Wanting no part of this shit, Roatha & Thiera head to Euryale's room.*

*Euryale puts her hand on Thiera's shoulder & is about to whisper "wake up," when she is surprised by a haymaker. Luckily for her, it doesn't reach her face, as Euryale clutches her side & lets out a strangled gasp.*

T"(Sorry! I didn't mean to scare or hurt you! Oh God...are you okay?!)"

Taiyo wakes up, bothered by the erratic movement.

Taiyo: "Huh? What's happening?"

Monu:<Can you two not start this again? Please?>

*Monu shakes his head, looking kind of annoyed*

"Whatever you want will be fine," Sab said.

"Don't be such a twat," Hector said, keeping anger from his voice but sounding cold. "Astarte has no business out in the forest just now, especially not with you. I'm not going to discuss it, either."
He turned to Eduj, "You should go and sleep, you generally need more sleep than I do."
Eduj nodded after a hesitation.

N"You know, for once, you're right. We need some loser to serve as monster fodder."

T"I didn't mean to scare either of you, honest!"

*Euryale closes her eyes & takes a few deep breaths, letting go of her side.*

R"We're thinking of trying to ward that thing off with blessed water, like in the book, but it says that we need an expert, & a true believer."

*She opens her eyes again.*

E"But I'm not an expert. And I'm not sure how much of that book I believe."

R"You're closer than we are."

"You don't have to eat whatever I do. I know I have certain dietary restrictions."

*Monu gets between Hector and Nero, trying to prevent a fight*

<Ok, ok, that's enough. Nero, you shouldn't have made a big deal about Hector coming. Hector, you shouldn't have called Nero a twat. Let's just put this all behind us.>

*Cameron starts heating up a cans of beans*
