*The skeleton dies at some point during this post. Euryale follows Mortal, but since they're climbing up the staircase-like falls, they haven't gotten near close enough to attack it. Plus, it runs away again, like a bitch.*

Mortal visibly relaxes under Euryale's touch, and lets out a long, contented sigh, "It feels amazing..."

"Jeez, get a room you two," Noct said, flying over to cover Sab's eyes, "You're going to destroy poor Sab's innocence."

"Hey... don't stop," Mortal said, reaching behind herself to find Euryale's hands.

Sab just shook her head, and smiled, "You're the weirdest bunch of people I've ever met, and I'm so happy to be with you all."

"You're only with me," Noct said, "See, this was what I was talking about, Euryale! You're a bad influence!"

Mortal frowned, "Wait, really?" She let out a defeated sigh, "It feels so good though."

"Talked about what?" Noct asked, weightlessly getting a piggy back ride from Sab.

Zac finishes his drink, pays the man, then heads over to the restaurant to reserve a table.

*Zac arrives at the restaurant that evening to find Lilith waiting there. The woman is wearing a black dress that stretches down just to about mid-calves & conforms to her figure, with a small cut up to about her knees to offer a bit of movement. Instead of her usual combat boots, she's wearing simple shoes of shiny leather that slip onto her feet. She apparently couldn't do without her sword, but she tried to dress it up, hanging it from a green ribbon around her waist & stuffing a few flowers into the sheath. She briefly turns to look at something, & he can see that the dress lacing in the back flares to expose her shoulder area & a green ribbon wound through her braid. When she looks back, Zac catches a whiff of Chantage.*

"I could try, but I think we'd be slow, uncoordinated, & probably run into things. I promise I'll give you a long massage when we get back to Lesalia, either way."

*She turns to Noctis.*

"The terms of our relationship, I suppose you could say. Is it just the 2 of us, or do we want to find a 3rd on some nights? What are we willing to do with each other? What is going too far? What kinds of plans we have for our futures."

*She shrugs.*

"I find it's better to ease into that stuff. Or, I would think."

Mortal looked back at Euryale, "Do you want someone else? I never even thought about that... I mean, I've mostly had my eyes set on you since... I've been human."

Noct looked down at Sab, who was already looking up at her, "Can we-"

"No," Sab said, "I think a marriage is a bond between two people."

"But, we're not married," Noct said.

"Fine, find someone else to give you a piggy back ride."

"Don't get all touchy. I was just saying," Noct replied, "Besides, can two girls even marry, by law, or under the church?"

"I don't even think anyone's thought to say yes or no yet," Sab said.

Zac is almost too stunned to say anything, but manages to get out, "You look magnificent, Lilith. I mean, wow, just stunning."

E"No. I mean..."

*She scratches her head.*

E"I just want to talk about what you want to do if we do find some third person we're interested in. And about other things. Such as if we ever want to raise a child. If we can even do that."

*She looks him up & down.*

"Dear god," Noct said with a chuckle, "I can see it now. 'Dragon mommy, mommy said that steak and eggs isn't the best thing to have for breakfast.'"

Mortal was too enraptured by the thought of growing old with Euryale to even reply to Noct. "You know, Euryale," Mortal said, after a second, "Whatever life brings, I'm glad it is you that I'm going to face it with."

Sab looked up at Noct, "Would you ever want a child?"

"Do you really think I'm mother material?" Noct asked, "I don't even know what a good mother is supposed to do."

Zac, now self conscious, rubbed the back of his neck, "I didn't know you were going to dress up, or I would have too. I mean, I clean up kinda good, I think. You'd still look better, without a doubt, but at least it wouldn't look like you're slumming with some street rat."

"Me too. Well, we should keep going. Noct, you wanna fly on back & grab Roatha? You don't have to carry him, it's just easier than climbing."

"I didn't say anything negative about you. Well, I wanted to surprise you by buying a dress. As well as other feminine accessories. I mean, my previous attire wasn't really suited to the occasion."

<We'll take on the monster in the plains then.>

Azuma goes to Mimiru's side so they both can attempt to move that rock.

Noct floated on over, leaving Sab missing her warmth, "Yea, sure. I forgot all about him." She picked him up with a bit of a heft, and tossed him over her shoulder again.

"Well, you accomplished your goal, trust me," Zac said with a chuckle, "You look beautiful... Sorry, I don't want to keep repeating myself. Lets get inside and eat, I already reserved us a table." Zac opened up the door for her.

<The monster on the plains is some kind of dragon, which they say was able to access the plains due to the unseasonably dry weather. No one knows where on the plains it lives, as it apparently only appears to swoop down & attack passing caravans when it's hungry, stealing livestock & killing any human who gets in its way. You'll have to find it, first. There are rumors that it's a truly ancient, thought-to-be extinct species. Should you complete the job, return to the tavern, & I'll give you 60,000 Gil, in addition to any spoils from the battle.>
