Year Two

"I can get around," Jin shrugged.

Dalia waited for the bus.

A"I'm sure there's a number of places to go to downtown."

Taiyo: "Okay."

And so they set off for downtown, going nowhere in particular. Unlike before, Taiyo isn't walking almost on Ven's heels.

T"Are you hungry, or do you just want to go somewhere & look at things?"

V"It's a bit early to eat dinner."

*Eve is still searching*

Cameron:<Well, if you're sure.>

Taiyo: "I know a great pet store we can go to."

T"Sure, sounds like fun."

A"Do they have birdies?"

Taiyo: "I think so. I hear them, but I usually play with the kittens."

At the pet store, they can hear birds chirping which stops when a parrot squaks.

Kari: "Hi, Taiyo. Back so soon?"

Taiyo: "Hi, Kari. Yep. No better place to be and Aroma wanted to see the birds."

The parrot squaks again.

*Aroma emits a squeal so high pitched that sound cannot be heard emerging from her mouth. She clasps her hands in front of her & leans towards the parrot.*

A"Can you talk? My name is 'Aroma.' A-ro-ma."

*Thiera laughs. Ven turns her attention to Kari.*

V"Hello."

And so Taiyo is off playing with kittens.

Kari: "Um...hello."

Parrot: "Fuck!"

Kari turns her attention in the direction of where the birds are, her face turns red.

Kari: "Oh, dear..."

*Thiera heads off to where Taiyo is, but turns at the angry bird. Aroma frowns. Ven is snickering.*

A"That...that is not a nice thing to say, little birdie...."

The parrot squaks again, spreading out its wings as if trying to intimidate her while it's really just stretching.

In the room Taiyo's in, she's crawling about with the kittens except for one that climbs up her back, resulting a gasp from her.

Taiyo: "Sharp claws, sharp claws, sharp claws."

*Aroma moves away from the awkward bird.*

*Thiera sits down with her back against the wall & tries to coax a kitten into her lap.*

*Eve gets up from the computer*

Eve:<So, the plan is I hold them down, you two beat them up?>

Cameron:<Pretty much.>

"Do we want anything from them? Like information?" Jin asked. "Or are we just gonna' stop immediate crimes?"

Eve:<I think it would depend on who we are fighting. Your average thug will probably not know any useful information.>

"Yeah, I guess," Jin nodded.

*Cameron takes off his coat and throws it over a chair, stretching his wings*

<I hate wearing that thing.>

The kitten on Taiyo's back hops off, landing less than gracefully then waddles over to Thiera.

The bus had arrived and took Dalia to where she wanted to go after transfering and what not.

*Thiera pets a kitty.*

*Aroma & Ven are looking around at what other animals are present.*

The kitten rolls around in her lap. On its back it wraps its little paws around one of Thiera's fingers and tries to bite it, only getting the tip.

There are fish, reptiles, frogs, and some creepy crawlies like the off scorpion, and a tarantula that may or may not be eyeing Aroma as if she were food.

*Aroma hides behind Ven from the tarantula. Ven growls at it.*

"Awww."

*She tugs gently, just enough that the kitten has something to pull against.*

Eve:<So, want a snack while we wait?>

Cameron:<Sure.>

*Cameron flies down the stairs towards the kitchen*

Dalia discreetly observed the people on public transport and around the East side. She kept a good look out for anybody in the Tyranno Boys, or anybody who really looked suspicious at all.

"Okay," Jin, not to be outdone by Cameron, dashed to the kitchen in near impossible time.

Taiyo: "I think it likes you."

The tarantula continues doing what it's doing.

Parrot: "Shit!"

The bell at the front door rings as it's opened.

There are plenty of people around. Some of them real scuzzy looking as it's the norm for public transportation.

A bus driver heads around a corner to a nearby alley.
