Year Two

"So, what are we gonna' do when we find a bad guy? We should have a game plan," Jin said. "I mean... it probably won't all go to plan but thinking ahead never hurts."

Dalia wondered if many of the criminals she concerned herself with might be living or active around here. She looked around for shady individuals as she had been, and would get off at the next stop.

Taiyo: "So if something like a turtle was released would you take it to the shelter or somewhere it could live like a stream somewhere?"

Most patrons are pretty scary looking. One man in particular looks like he has no idea where he is.

The bus stops to let someone off. A young woman around Dalia's age.

Three men exit the vehicle. One has a shotgun in hand while the other two aren't visibly armed.

Hitomi: "Wha...what are they doing here?"

Azuma: "I don't know. I'm not even sure what to do about it. Well, maybe I know someone who can do something."

Hitomi: "The faceless man. Inquiry."

Azuma: "Right as rain. Let's get out of here."

Azuma counts down from three then teleports, holding on to Hitomi.

V"We would look for signs of domestication. If we thought the turtle was domesticated, we would take it to a shelter."

Eve:<We take them down, wait for the police to come get them, then move on. I suppose.>

Dalia also disembarked.

"Yeah, but how will we take them down? Who goes in first? Do we all know what we can really do?" Jin asked.

Taiyo: "Oh, okay."

The neighborhood as mentioned earlier is quite nice. Much nicer than her own, this being the suburbs. The crime rate is relatively low, only the odd break in and entering and domestic dispute.

People walking by eye Dalia wearily being suspicious of unfamiliar people.

After a few more rooftops, Hitomi takes less time to catch her breath before she can be teleported to the next roof without feeling winded.

Hitomi: "Do you ever stop to look at the city from other rooftops than your own? I don't think I've ever seen that you do."

Azuma: "I guess I don't. It kind of all looks the same on the east side. Living on the west side must have its advantages."

Hitomi: "I never really considered it."

Eve:<I can freeze them.>

Cameron:<Then we can go in and kick their asses.>

"Well, okay," Jin said, then beamed. "When will we head out?"

Dalia began walking the streets, looking around at the surrounding buildings. She was beginning to think coming here was a waste of time.

Outside they can see the street lights coming on.

Taiyo: "I should probably start heading home."

Street lights begin turning on. The few people still outside for whatever reason all eye her suspiciously.

She probably should've paid attention to which bus she had to get on.

T"Alright, I think we're all done, so let's go."

*They start putting money on the table.*

*Luna is about to sneak out to crime fight. She scrolls through online news to see if anything jumps out at her to investigate.*

Eve:<We should get ready.>

*Eve tosses Jin the towels, then heads up to her room. Cameron heads into the bathroom to change*

Dalia began heading home.

Jin wrapped the headscarf.

Fast forward to the evening.

Azuma changes into his costume and teleports out to the roof. Another person is already up there. They're wearing an outfit similar to Iron Duke's only in dark blue and grey and no form of identification or purple aura. Their gloves are just simple black leather.

Azuma: "What the hell is this?"

Mimiru: "I'm going with you, stupid."

Azuma: "What? No! I'm barely capable of stopping a mugging and-"

Mimiru: "I have better chances of surviving than you do. I can recover from most wounds. You cannot."

Luna's search didn't yield much. There were a few drug related deaths, but nothing gang related.

An update on the warehouse fire from the previous night says investigators believe it was gang related.

*Eve and Cameron meet up with Jin*

Eve:<Ready?>

*She simply heads out to the Tyranno Boys' usual territory.*

*Aroma & Thiera are doing homework/crime research. They take a break to go over the section in the handbook devoted to pets.*

"Yep!" Jin nodded enthusiastically.

Dalia had spent the day wandering about, and had only briefly swung by her home to change into her outfit. She was tired, however, and had climbed up a fire escape of a tall building while in Alternate Space. She was now back in the real world, lying on the roof and looking up at the sky.

Grimm locked up the church, wearing his cassock, his cloak and carrying his weapons underneath. He began walking into Tyranno Boy territory.

The Tyranno Boys having no specific territory, the two wander aimlessly into the southern part of the city.

Certain pets are allowed. Mainly fish, hamsters, mice, and other small rodents, as well as snakes and small reptiles.

Azuma teleports the two around the city. It's a quiet night presently.

Mimiru: "Where are we going?"

Azuma: "Searching for someone. I just don't really knkw where to look."

T"So we've probably got the right idea. Now if only we could come up with a better way to track criminal activity."

*Luna continues wandering aimlessly.*

*Eve and Cameron exit*

Eve:<Can we keep in contact via your telepathy?>

"I guess so," Jin said before sending thoughts to Cameron and Eve.
Should work.

Grimm continued to wander.

Dalia continued to just watch the sky. She checked her watch.

An unmarked delivery truck being followed by a red pick up truck passes Luna.

Elsewhere, near Grimm, three people are crowded near the opening of an alley. One person looks in his direction, but largely ignores him.

Mimiru: "This is all you do?"

Azuma: "For the moment. Until I find Inquiry."

It is not long after nine.

*Luna follows them.*

[Following suspicious vehicles is also difficult. But a vehicle would be too expensive, & difficult to hide. Perhaps I should form an alliance with another hero?]

A"Well...I don't know about tracking current crime, but unsolved cases are often archived on the internet for anyone to research."

T"Hmm...not a bad idea."

*While they resume homework, Thiera starts looking up cases.*

*Cameron grabs Eve, soaring into the sky, heading for the more crime filled part of town*

Eve:Wait, we need code names. I'm going with The Evening Star. What about you too?

Grimm walked past them- not too close, but close enough to hear them speak unless they whispered.

Dalia renewed Alternate Space and stood up, then went into Alternate Space and climbed down the fire escape to the streets below.

Jin kind of ran after where she could see them flying, Dunno, but do you think you should be flying right at the moment? What if the police see you or something? I guess it's dark...

After an hour or so of searching, they find Inquiry on a rooftop, smoking. Aeka has a hand on her sword in an instant.

Azuma: "Woah, it's all right. She's with me."

Inquiry deposits the cigarette butt in the baggie in his coat and pulls his mask back down.

Inquiry: "What do you want?"

Azuma: "Well, I believe I have something concerning the Russians."

Inquiry: "What is it?"

Azuma: "Every weekday a trio of them pay a visit to the Oakwood Book Shop. Can't say what goes on there, but I figured it might be up your alley."

Inquiry: "I'll look into it."

With that the two take off leaving Azuma and Mimiru behind.

Mimiru: "That's it? What a dink. And his side-kick was plain creepy."

As he passes their low talking ceases. It's an exchange of sorts, likely drugs.

The trucks stop in front of a dilapidated looking building. A lot like what would be found on the east side of the city. People exit the building and set to work unloading the delivery truck while others stand by to keep watch.
