Cabin in the Woods II

Sab walks to her bed and plops down on it letting out a long sigh.

"Tsk, didn't want a drink from you anyway," Noct said, taking a swig from her drink.

Mortal just kind of shrugged, and asked for a beer when she took the man's seat.

Cameron:<You two alright out there?>

*He puts down some money, presumably to be used for a drink, before heading for the door. Mortal is given a beer.*

"It's nothing personal."

*Euryale & Taiyo are still lying in their bed. Motionless.*

T"I don't see anything...."

*She turns & takes a few steps down the hallway before leaping back.*

T"Gah! It's in here!"

*Roatha, apparently not the brightest, runs up to get a look, squinting into the darkness.*

T"It was right there! It went through the door into the basement!"

"What do we do?" Hector asked, having just joined them himself. He was busily rubbing his eyes in an attempt to dismiss his groggy vision. Eduj moved up to his side.

Mimiru:"It just came from here."

She continues looking at the bed.

Mimiru:"It didn't get...did it?"

Noct laughed humorlessly, "Same."

Mortal takes a swig of the beer then lets out a sigh, "So, you're not going to say what was bothering you, so the least I think I can do is cheer you up. We can head to a party or something."

"No, I just want to be alone," Noct said, taking another drink.

Gabe shook her head, "Nuh uh. You, moody and all alone... Bad mix. Lets go hanging out. It doesn't have to be a party, we can go to a movie, or to eat, or even a walk in the park, but we're going to hang out."

"You can't force people to have fun," Noct said.

"We can try," Mortal replied.

Noct shook her head, "You two are impossible..."

*Thiera stays glaring intently at the closed basement door.*

T"We have to get out of here. Now. Someone hurry up & wake those 2."

*Senthose had already left by this point.*

"Fine then, do you even know of any parties happening tonight?" Noct asked.

Gabrial tried to think if there were any parties happening that they knew of.

*Nope.*

Eve:<Where will we go?>

*Tirea runs into Euryale and Taiyo' s room*

<Hey, I don't mean to be rude, but you really need to wake up now!>

"We could try heading to that road," Hector suggested.

*Euryale stirs.*

E"What's happening?"

T"Yeah...get anything you can quickly find & carry."

*At that, Roatha & Nero head back into their room, grab their backpacks, & immediately turn & run out.*

Tirea:<We're all getting our stuff together and getting out of here.>

*Cameron and Monu grab their stuff, while Eve grabs her's and Tirea's before heading back to the livinng room*

Astarte was standing in the middle of the living room, looking around in a groggy state of wakefulness. Hector ran in and grabbed his backpack, and made for the door with Eduj.
"What's going on?" She asked.

Cameron:<We're heading out again. Want me to grab your stuff?>

E"Why would we be leaving?"

T"It's back."

E"Holy sh--(are you sure?)"

T"Yes, & I don't think there's much point in whispering. Can you walk?"

E"I don't feel like I want to run a marathon, but I should be able to move around on my own."

*Tirea grabs her backpack from Eve*

Tirea:<Thanks!>

*Eve nods*

Taiyo stirs and groans when she sits up.

Taiyo: "Again?"

Mimiru: "Sorry to wake you, but we have to go."

Taiyo: "Again?"

Mimiru: "Looks like for good."

Taiyo looks over to Euryale to see if she's up to it. Azuma enters, his backpack in tow.

Azuma: "So when do we move out and where?"

*Euryale stands up.*

T"We're making a break for it. Out of the forest."

*In a blur, the Shadow Man stands in the doorway between her & Mimiru, Taiyo, & Euryale. It swings its arm at her, so she raises her lantern to defend herself, which promptly explodes. The Shadow Man slinks away from the flash of light, leaving the door momentarily clear as everything goes dark again.*

T"Hurry!"

*They can be heard running towards the exit.*

Azuma grabs Mimiru's backpack from by the door while she grabs Euryale & Taiyo's bags.

Taiyo takes Euryale's hand, so they can get the hell out.

*Eve, Tirea, Cameron, and Monu run towards the exit*

*Pulling Taiyo along, Euryale makes a mad dash for where she thinks the bedroom door is. She only hits the doorframe once before she manages to pull herself & Taiyo to the living room.*

N"Fuck, I forgot about the mattresses! Roatha, get over here, we'll shove them out of the way! No, wait, other side, the door opens this way."

*They can be heard fumbling around, & then pushing the mattresses across the floor. The Shadow Man remains quiet throughout this endeavor.*

*Eve, Tirea, Cameron, and Monu help pull mattresses out of the way*

Astarte stood in the middle of the living room, shaking, until Hector ran over to her, grabbed her arm and dragged her towards the door. Eduj was helping to shift the mattresses.

Azuma and Mimiru enter the living room, Mimiru shining the flashlight about.
