Old Ones Return (II)

Renamon enters the cave first, Taiyo following after her. Azuma, Hitomi and their partners take up the rear.

*When they get about halfway to the signals, the tunnel turns sharply to the left, away from where they want to be headed.*

Taiyo: "Did we take a wrong turn somewhere?"

Azuma: "Or go in the wrong way."

"This looks like the only way to go in this tunnel."

Azuma: "And it's taking us away from where we want to go."

*Lunamon splashes Biyomon*

Biyomon:<Hey!>

"Well, what, do you want to turn around?"

Azuma: "I'd like to get unlost."

*They find a dry place to sit and wait*

*Euryale shrugs, & takes them back outside.*

"Okay, now which way?"

Azuma: "Left."

Taiyo: "Has anyone tried to send a message to the others?"

"There's nothing to type with on a D-Power, & no address to send to. And I don't think our phones are going to work here."

*Euryale heads for the left path.*

Taiyo: "Oh. It's just we can recieve messages, so why not send them?"

Renamon and Taiyo enter the cave, Azuma, Hitomi, and their partners follow behind.

"One-way communication. I suppose we could ask Kurata where he sends the messages to, but we'd still be stuck in the position of not having anything to send them with."

*The tunnel eventually comes to a branch.*

Azuma looks at the map on his D-Power.

*They are still waiting around bored*

*The signals are coming from the center, & they are on the left path, so obviously the right path would seem like the way to go.*

Renamon goes down the right path, Taiyo following close behind.

*This path goes down, deeper into the earth, before curving back up. But they do seem to be getting closer to the signals.*

Taiyo feels around until she's holding Euryale's hand.

*She can't see or hear Euryale react. Eventually, they step into what they think is a puddle. Renamon & Agumon can't see the others, but they can see a cavernous lake with a Zudomon sleeping partially submerged in it. The humans presumably keep walking, due to being unable to see this.*

Renamon: "Stop."

Taiyo's squeezes Euryale's hand.

Taiyo: "What is it?"

Renamon: "There's a large Digimon ahead."

*If she can see them, Lunamon waves at Renamon and Agumon*

<Guys!>

*Probably not, with Zudomon's fat ass in the way.*

*Then Lunamon starts slashing Biyomon again, who looks very annoyed*
