Old Ones Return (II)

Yeah, whatever.

Azuma: "So what's this blue card do again that we have to be put an even bigger disadvantage over it?"

Lunamon:<I think they're trying to screw us over.>

Kurata<The Blue Card enables Matrix Digivolution, or the passage of a Digimon from Champion to Ultimate. In light of recent events, I will try to secure approval, but this is a very serious matter.>

Kylie:<Thank you!>

Lunamon:<Yeah, we'll kick weird mutant guy's ass!>

Azuma: "That's being a little hopeful. Those machines deleted Zudomon easy."

Kurata<But, ah, I require the Blue Card.>

E"Oh, I guess I...don't have it?"

*She digs around in her pockets, but can't seem to find it. Then she looks down her shirt for some reason. Kurata frowns.*

E"What the fuck? Did I drop it?"

D<Smooth move, Implants.>

Biyomon:<You probably dropped it when we were running.>

Azuma: "Well, we did have one."

Kurata<I see...well, that will be all, for today?>

T"Have you found a new home for the Digimon we rescued?"

Kurata<Do understand, trying to understand the Digital World by observing certain coordinates over time is like trying to map Tokyo by taking pictures of the skyline from random angles. However, I do have one area that I would like you to investigate tomorrow.>

Azuma: "So that's a no. And what are the odds of those goons showing up again, tomorrow?"

Kylie:<Very likely.>

Kurata<I'm afraid that I can't guarantee that they won't show up on any given point in the near future, but I will be opening the Digital Gate onto an area that has no evidence of military activity.>

Azuma: "I'm sure there was none where we went today."

Lunamon:<At least we found the blacksmith.>

Kurata<It is my theory that they are keeping watch over the area they've already conquered, & simply following you when you enter it.>

Kylie:<Do you have any idea who they are?>

Lunamon:<Or how a person turns into a digimon?>

Azuma: "Or why they're so keen on conquoring the Digital World."

Kurata<I told you that Senthose is a mercenary, & that's all I know. I would assume that they are developing new types of weapons, using Digimon as a base. But it is impossible to say who Senthose works for.>

Lunamon:<They must have been the ones who stole the stuff from Hypnos.>

Biyomon:<So I guess the plan is if we see him run away.>

Kylie:<Without a Blue card, we have too.>

Azuma: "I guess that just leaves the question of whether or not we're dismissed."

Kurata<I said that would be all for today.>

Kylie:<Alright, thank you.>

Lunamon:<Thanks for your help, Professor! We'd be lost without you.>

Azuma: "Well, we never got around to leaving because of playing twnety questions."

And so Azuma and Hitomi begin to take their leave.

*The next day finds them once again making a trip to the Digital Gate chamber.*

Kurata<I tried to choose a habitat similar to that of the original village. If you find it to be suitable, then we will send the Digimon through at a later date.>

E"How are the little guys doing, anyway?"

Kurata<I hear that they are frustrating the rest of the staff. They eat vast quantities of food, & destroyed several pieces of office equipment, before being informed of the training room--which they also ransacked.>

Biyomon:<Got it. Should we contact you if it's safe?>
