Old Ones Return (II)

Saberdramon:<I wonder what it's function could be.>

*He lands near it, and tilts his head to inspect it*

Azuma: "Should you really be screwing around with it? It could be keeping the top from blowing off a potential volcano."

E"We're here to investigate. Don't yell at him for doing his job."

Lekismon:<It's possible, but unlikely.>

Azuma: "Who's yelling? We're not exactly in a place where anything makes sense. It could start snowing from the ground or that gear is keeping a volcano sealed. Just saying, exercise some caution."

E"Whatever. We're not going to find out anything from here anyway, so let's just fly somewhere else."

Kylie:<Alright.>

*Lekismon and Saberdramon take off and look around for something else of interest*

The two Digimon fly off in seperate directions.

*Kyubimon notices a series of caves on the side of a mountain. Angemon notices a stairwell built in a large hole in a plateau with wires coming out of it. When the clouds thin, Saberdramon notices that this section of the Digital World is sticking right out of the ocean.*

*Lekismon and Saberdramon fly down to the ocean*

Lekismon:<Maybe there's a river around here.>

*They fly close to the water, looking for a river or other source of fresh water*

They each fly closer to their respective landmarks.

*There are noises coming out of the cave. The hole in the ground extends into the darkness, beyond the point where any landing can be seen. The ocean is an ocean, so not really. Euryale flies higher in the sky to check out the peaks of the tallest 4 mountains.*

Saderdramon:<Nothing.>

*Thy continue flying, following the coast*

Taiyo: "Kyubimon, can you get a little closer?"

Kyubimo moves in a little.

Taiyo: "Hello!"

Angemon lands, putting Azuma down.

Azuma: "Might be worth looking into."

*A fish jumps out.*

*There is scuffling from inside the caves, but nothing answers.*
============================
*They are staring into a hole.*

Lekismon:<Awesome, there's food here.>

*They take to the air again and fly back to the others*

Kyubimon backs away from the cave.

Taiyo: "Should we tell the others what we found?"

Hitomi: "It might be a good idea."

Kyubimon flies off to whoever is nearest to their location.

Azuma stares into the hole.

Azuma: "Looks interesting enough to warrant an investigation. Rather not go at it alone."

Angemon: "Shall we inform the others?"

Azuma: "Reckon so."

Angemon picks Azuma up and flies off to regroup with the others.

*Kyubimon & Lekismon meet up near a mountain that Greymon is flying down from.*

*As they're flying to that group, Angemon can see bolts of lightning flashing in the clouds between the large mountains.*

Taiyo: "We found some caves."

Azuma: "I'm not liking the looks of that storm. We should hurry."

Kylie:<We found an ocean and some fish.>

E"I had the idea that the really high peaks might have had frozen water, like they do on earth. So I checked, and they did."

A<I even tasted the ice, to make sure it was actually water.>

*As they talk, they might notice that the lightning bolts have abruptly ceased.*

*Kylie looks in the direction the lightning bolts had been coming from*

<I guess the storm's done.>

Azuma: "We found a weirdo staircase."

E"So a staircase & some caves, those sound interesting. Well, let's split up into groups, investigate each area. Oh, & of course, get some pictures."

Azuma: "Similar groups as before or something new? The staircase looks like it leads somewhere quite dark."
