The New Zodiac Braves

*Safian and Cassandra wake up, get dressed, then wait for Roatha*

After breakfast the trio leave to find Kitters and continue on their way.

Noctis and Sab are genuinely irked at not being informed of that earlier, or given the option to opt out, Sab being quite particular about how her things are washed, and Noct just not a fan of people touching her shit. Either way, both wake up tangled in each other's limbs, having slept facing each other.

Mortal wakes up, and immediately tries to go back to bed.

Zac is up early, but instead of getting out and going for breakfast like he usually does, he takes time to appreciate that he is waking up for the first time with Lilith sharing his bed.

*Nothing happens until assholes get out of bed.*

*They see Kitters sleeping curled out way out in the distance under some bushes.*

*Roatha gets out of his room & heads to the bathroom.*

*Safian exits her room, then waits for Roatha to get done*

Taiyo goes over to Kitters.

Taiyo: "Aww, Kitters is so cute. He's like a bigger version of my first cat."

Azuma: "First cat?"

Taiyo: "Yeah, we had this cat that kept mice and the like away, but he...my dad made this collar for him. It's really all I have left of either of them."

Mortal is sleeping, liek a bawz.

Sab rolled out of bed and let out a dainty yawn. She was sitting at the edge of the bed and was about to stand when Noct reached out with a hand and grabbed her shoulder. She began pulling her down into bed, but instead of letting laziness win out, Sab grabbed Noct's wrist, and pushed off the ground so that Noct was pulled out of bed when Sab stood up.

Noct looked around a bit dazed, "That was incredibly unexpected..."

"Come on," Sab said, letting go of Noct's wrist, causing her to fall slightly out of bed, "Everyone is probably waiting for us."

Noct picked herself up off the floor and yawned, "Fine, fine."

Zac drags himself out of bed as well, and begins to search for a bathroom to wash up in.

*Roatha is in there for quite some time. Zac finds this same bathroom.*

*Euryale awakens, turns over, & begins rubbing Mortal's shoulder & upper arm.*

Zac knocks, "Anyone in there?"

Mortal stirs and looks up at Euryale, "Hello my sun and stars."

Noct and Sab also go out looking for a bathroom.

*Cassandra also exits, then heads over to Safian*

Cassandra:<Morning.>

*Safian nods then continues to wait, looking more annoyed*

*For some inexplicable reason, everyone winds up at this same bathroom.*

R"Yes."

*Euryale smiles.*

"I was expecting a 'let me sleep.' Thanks, Mortal, you're too kind to me."

Safian:<Hurry up!>

"There is a line, so if you could hurry up that would be much appreciated," Zac said.

Noct looked at Sab, "You know, we could probably use Aroma's personal wash room if we ask nicely."

"I'd... rather not give her some kind of impression."

"I have my moments, I suppose," Mortal said, a swell of pride lighting inside her when she caused Euryale to smile. She leaned up into a sitting position and let of a tired yawn, "Though I won't lie, more sleep does sound lovely."

R"Don't rush me! I'm sure there are other bathrooms, why did you all end up at this one?"

*Lilith walks up, wearing her new outfit, because of the bullshit laundry excuse.*

L"Contrived coincidence, mostly."

"I usually can't convince you to wake up by asking, so I thought I'd try a new method."

Cassandra:<You'd think they would be more restrooms around a floor with so many bedrooms.>

"I suppose if we bathe as couples we could cut down wait times," Noct said.

"First we'd have to find more bath rooms in the first place," Sab pointed out.

"Good morning, beautiful," Zac said, turning to greet Lilith with a smile.

"Luckily I don't react like you do to people waking me up like that," Mortal said.

They're presumably waiting for a big cat to wake up. Except Taiyo who is mezmerized by its resemblence to her previous normal non-monster cat.

*The cat finally wakes up & stretches in that way that cats do.*

R"I'm not bathing, but that's a good idea, I should do that later."

L"...What ARE you doing?"

R"Well, not THAT, you pervert. I'm sorry, I find it hard to go knowing that there's an audience criticizing my performance!"

Taiyo scratches Kitters cheecks.

Taiyo: "Morning, sleepyhead."

Azuma: "Guess it's time to keep on going."

And they do so.

*Safian shakes her head*

<Ew.>

Mortal frowned, "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, or insult you. I was, uh, just saying."

Zac just laughed at Roatha, "Well, I'm done here." He took a step down the hall, "I'm going to try to find another rest ro--"

Noct, who had taken a step in the same direction at the same time stopped him with and arm, and pointed down the other direction of the hall, "Go that way. I'd be silly just to all wind up at the same rest room again."

Zac shrugged, and walked down the other way. Noct and Sab both said, "Good morning, Lilith," as they continued in the opposite direction.

*Lilith wishes them good morning back. Aroma walks out from behind them.*

Aroma<Well, fancy meeting so many lovely ladies all in one place. Good morning, are you still enjoying your stay?>

*When they arrive at the Tor, they can see a few squid heads roaming through the water, but they're not sure how many.*

They just keep on going because fuck squids.

"Ah, hello there," Noct said, "I'm shocked to see you surprised. I naturally assumed someone as heavenly as yourself would be used to being in the company of lovely ladies."

Sab frowned slightly at Noct's flirting, even if she did know it was just light hearted. "Good morning, my Lady. Perhaps an odd question, but could you point us in the direction of any other rest rooms?"

"Good," Mortal leaned over and kissed Euryale, "I love you."

"I love you too. Yet the moment's kind of passed."

*She sits up.*

"Oh well, there will be others. Let's get some breakfast."

Aroma<I'm afraid fate has not been as kind to me as your words, though I would like to get used to it.>

*She puts an arm around Noctis & Sab each.*

Aroma<Why, yes, there is another at the end of that hall.>

*She nods forward.*

Aroma<There are a couple of chambers for the servants & clergy in the back of the castle, but you don't want to use them unless it's an emergency. There is of course the private bath off of my chambers. Perhaps I could show you the way?>

*They are successful in avoiding the squids, but the ground is getting increasingly soggy, & smells of dead leaves. As they see the Fenlands up ahead, they can also see that there is a group of 6 undead monsters drifting about it, 1 of each type.*
