The Arrival

*Eve takes a step towards Senthose and the others, then stops, nervous*

*Tirea and Monu find Cameron on the couch, staring at his phone*

Tirea:<Hey.>

Cameron:<Is something up?>

*Tirea shows Cameron the picture*

Cameron:<Well shit.>

"I don't know what to do, but we aren't staying here," Astarte said, hoping that her speech was still comprehensible as she ran. "There's something in the trees I think."
They continued up the road after her, Hector looking back over his shoulder to see if they were being followed.

Grimm was in his church, cleaning up the mess.

Sab gets off of Aroma because she is being smothered, "Oh, sorry..."

"Sounds exciting," Mortal said.

Gabe looks at the nervous girl walking up to them, "Uh, hello?"

*Aroma is breathing heavily, her poor lungs strained from sex, & smothering.*

"It's...o...kay..."

*All of the parishioners had left at some point or another. It looks unlikely that any will be coming back. The drawings are all fixed in the same manner, so he soon runs out of alcoholic cleaning agent, while still working on the first wall.*

*Nothing seems to be following them.*

"Well...update me when you stop somewhere."

Sab closes her eyes, and puts her head down on her pillow, puts an arm around Aroma's waist, and cuddles.

*Eve nervously waves*

<Um, Gabe, right?>

*Tirea sits down on the couch next to the others*

<We really are being stalked.>

Cameron:<I know, I just hope it's a group of idiots, not monsters.>

Finished changing, Taiyo waits for Euryale.

"Uh, yeah," Gabe said, "Don't take this too badly, but I can't quite remember where I know you from. What was your name again?"

Grimm furrowed his brow, wondering how he could find out what exactly had been used to write on his walls and how to clean it. After some deliberation he took out his bayonet and sliced a small chunk off of the wall which was covered with the substance.

"O-okay," Astarte said, then ended the call. Hector slowed down, calling for Astarte to do the same. Eventually they both stopped and caught their breaths, looking back to see if they were being followed and forward to see if Vanessa ever planned to stop running.

*The walls are made of stone, so all he's really doing is pointlessly dulling the blade.*

"I'm starting to feel chilly. Anyway, that was Astarte. She found Vanessa."

*Cameron texts Astarte again*

Is everything alright?

Tirea:<Is tonight still going to happen?>

Monu:<I don't see why not.>

"Hm, oh, yea, right," Gabe said, "Sorry about that. You actually just missed those two."

"And Nero, for what that's worth," Mortal added.

"Yea, the three of them just left," Gabe continued, "So, how is everything going?"

Except the chunk he wanted is small enough for this to work. He took it and put it in a plastic bag.

Eduj eventually jogged onto the scene with Hector and Astarte. Hector pointed at Vanessa and said, "We found her.. we shouldn't let her disappear again."
Without another word he started following her again, Astarte in tow. Eduj didn't really understand, but followed. Hector called out to Vanessa again.

*Fine, he's got some little rock particles in a bag.*

*She ignores him. When she finally gets to the intersection, she doubles over, but sticks her thumb out like a hitchhiker.*

Taiyo: "That's...good. I think."

<I'm....alright. Do you have any idea where Thiera and friends were headed?>

"Uh, I think Nero said something about downtown, but that's all I got," Mortal said.

The three caught up with her at the intersection, but each stayed at a safe distance from her. Astarte had to sit down and catch her breath, while the others were much less effected.
"Vanessa, whatever was there isn't anymore," Hector said. "Do you want to see Euryale or someone? They've been worried. Where do you intend on going anyway?"

Grimm left the chunk in his back room and set about cleaning up the broken glass.

"A hotel somewhere. And no it's not. Listen."

*If they do, in fact, shut up, they can hear leaves shuffling for a few seconds.*

"They aren't staying put. I'd like to regroup."

*Euryale sits back down, sighing.*

Taiyo sits down with Euryale.

Taiyo: "I'm sure we'll be able to meet up with them soon."

If she wants to meet up.

"...You think you'll be safer alone in some hotel, wherever?" Hector said after the noise. Eduj and Astarte looked around for whatever made the noise, Astarte hugging her knees. "I don't really care, but, it'd probably be smarter for you to talk about this with the others who are being stalked."

*eve's face falls*

<I see. Any idea where downtown?>

"Yeah...I guess I'm just tired. Restless, I mean. I don't know what to do in the meantime."

"I really doubt any of you have anything useful to say. I've survived these past few days by moving around a lot. I've already made a discovery, & I think I'm close to another one."

*A red sports car drives by, but does not stop.*

Taiyo: "We could tell the others that Vanessa was found."

"A discovery? Perhaps that is something you would like to share? And if not for my benefit, for the others who you might hate a little less?" Hector took a step closer. "What have you learned?"
