E"So, what are we doing today?"

*He stops Grimm in his tracks by punching him in the face. The pain causes him to close his eyes & he can feel an warm liquid running down over his mouth, which has an overpowering odor & taste like iron shavings. Homeless Guy follows this up with a kick to Grimm's chest.*

*Eventually, they reach the restaurant, to find a different server there, a blond girl with a ponytail.*

<Just the 3 of you?>

*She already opened it. Lrn2rd. In the distance, she can see a humanoid shape moving towards her in the darkness.*

*They stand around awkwardly. Roatha shrugs.*

R"Alright, just, tell us what you want us to do, I guess...."

Taiyo: "I still have one more class this afternoon. We could hang out for a bit afterwards."

*Tirea looks around for a way out of the hallway. If she sees one, Tirea takes it*

*Eve's room has little to no decoration, except for some star charts on the wall. On a desk there's a pile of very heavy looking textbooks, along with various writing supplies. Eve heads over to the closet, and pulls out a large suitcase*

<Could you guys help me with my school supplies?>

*Eve goes over to a chest of draws and starts stuffing clothes into the suitcase*

"There are four of us here..." Sab said.

"We're actually joining some friends," Gabe said, "I'm not sure what name they put down for the party, but it'd be a couple girls and a guy. They couldn't have come in too long ago."

Assuming the tables are rectangular, Noct suggests, "Why don't you put the long sides together. That way no one will be too far away from anyone else."

"Yeah."

Hector furrowed his brow for a moment and then sighed, wiped the frown off of his face and stood up, then walked over towards Vanessa. He waved Eduj down when he tried to follow, and made sure not to get too close.
"Hello, Vanessa."

Grimm brought the bayonet down to meet the kick on its way up.

*She leans over.*

<Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't see your little redhead friend behind the tall girl with the white hair. I was told to take over for someone who was preparing for a particularly large group. You must be the other half. Right this way, please.>

*She folds her arms.*

<I think those sides might be slightly longer. Alright.>

*And so he starts moving chairs out of the way.*

*She's now apparently running through the hallway. She gets to a stairwell & a turn into another hallway before the lights go out.*

*Roatha & Thiera look at each other & shrug.*

R"Uh, alright."

*And so Roatha gathers the books into a stack & moves them over to the bed. Thiera begins grouping papers & folders into another stack, & also moves them over to the bed.*

E"Why don't I come with you?"

Taiyo: "If you want to. I don't know if the professor will be opposed or not."

*Tirea turns on her smart phone and uses it for a kind of flashlight to find her way out of the building*

*Monu takes the star charts off the wall, and folds them on the bed. Eve tosses a very thick backpack to Roatha and Thiera, then continues to stuff clothes into the suitcase*

Noct helps with the chairs so he can move the table without issue.

Sab doesn't know whether to be upset her girlfriend wasn't noticed, or happy it wasn't her this time. Regardless, they follow after the hostess.

"Will she even notice? What kind of class is it?"

*She's still in the same place I just mentioned. The phone starts to flicker as she feels it getting colder behind her.*

*He's just finishing pushing the tables together when she arrives with the others.*

*Aroma waves at Senthose & Lilith. They give kind of half-assed waves back.*

Taiyo: "Wildlife biology."

"No problem," Noct said, pushing a few of the remaining chairs into place.

"Yes, thank you," Gabe said. She then waved to Noct, and the others, along with Mortal and Sab.

Noct looks back, "Oh good, everyone is here."

"I wasn't going to skip out on free food," Mortal said.

Noct scowled a bit deeper, "I never said I was paying for everything."

Sab looked confused, "Yeah, she never implied she was going to pay for anyone but herself."

Mortal looked crestfallen, "I feel lied to. What is the use of having a rich friend if they won't buy me lunch?"

"...Friendship?" Noct suggested.

*When finished, Eve zips up the suitcase*

<Well, that's everything. Do you happen to know where Euryale's room is?>

*Tirea runs forward, hunting for the next stairwell. She checks to see if she has cell service*

E"Sounds like a lecture hall class. I'm sure I won't even be noticed."

T"I guess not...let me ask her."

*She sends a message, & quickly gets the room number from Euryale.*

*I presume she's going to use the stairwell, so now she's running up a dark staircase. She has 1 bar.*

L"Is she really rich, or is--uh--Mortal just saying that?"

*Senthose shrugs. The servers wait patiently for them to take their seats & stop gabbing.*

*Tirea is indeed running up the stairwell. She tries to call Monu*

Eve:<We better head over there then.>

Taiyo: "Okay."

The other two mozey on out after their meal is finished.

"Oh no," Mortal said, taking a seat, "She really is. She is the heiress of some fancy business or something."

"Technically I'm more of a beneficiary of a trust, and that really isn't the point," Noct said also taking a seat, "I'm not just going to pay for your meals."

While everyone else sits down Mortal replied, "You're no fun. If I was rich I'd buy everyone everything."

"You wouldn't be rich for very long," Gabe pointed out, "And can we stop talking about how rich Noct is."

"I second the motion for a subject change," Noct said.

""Alright, then.""

*They take the backpack & the suitcase & head for the door. Monu does get the call, but the reception is spotty. He hears bits of whatever Tirea says in the static. Occasionally, he hears someone talking over her, but can't make out what this person is saying.*

*The upper levels of the stair well have more natural light coming in. They also have something with large, red eyes crawling along the wall above her.*

*So Taiyurle are making their way to the biology building when they both get a message titled "Reminder." Euryale opens hers to see that it's a photograph of them walking along the path. She starts looking around. There are a couple of girls walking along the path far behind them, but no one else that she can see. She looks down, & sees that the picture was taken from her side, not directly behind them.*

Taiyo looks at her own phone and then looks around.

Taiyo: "This week was actually a good one..."

OOC: Only time I'm going to do this.

S: "Water please."
N: "I'll take a water as well."
G: "Apple juice."
M: "I'll take Pepsi."

Monu:<Sorry guys, I got to go guys. Tirea's calling me during class.>

*Eve nods and Monu heads towards the building where Tirea's current class is. Eve helps carry the suitcase*

<Lead the way Roatha.>

*Tirea continues running up the stairwell, using her phone to find her door. if she sees it, Tirea tries to exit by it*

*What happens is that the clicking monster jumps on her & pins her to the floor. It opens up its mandibles, some kind of spear-tipped tongue emerging. If she looks behind it, she can see the Shadow approaching. Her phone dies, leaving her only able to see the glow of the creature's eyes & the silhouette of the Shadow in the dim light.*

*Meanwhile, Monu arrives at the building, but doesn't see anything out of the ordinary.*

*And so eventually they find themselves outside of Euryale's dorm.*

T"Oh, wait, we're not going to be able to get in without her--"

*Roatha pushes the door open.*

R"What? I missed what you were saying."

T"I don't...did she leave it unlocked?"

A"I was actually thinking of water, too."

S"I'll have lemon tea."

L"Me too."

E"They're just reminding us that they're still around. Annoying, but nothing to worry about. Let's just keep going."

*She puts her phone away & puts an arm around Taiyo, leading her off. Taiyo gets another message.*

Taiyo resolves to not open the message and deletes it instead.

*Tirea tries to throw the monster off her, then kick it in the head*
