Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

*Eve gives the knife back*

<Here.>

Lunamon:<Yay! Party time!>

*Kylie yawns*

<No, sleep time.>

R"Well, here's the rest of the meat."

*He walks up & hands it off to Euryale, who scoops it up into her arms, licking her lips.*

R"And I guess you'll want the seaweed."

*He turns around to find Aroma holding her hands out.*

A"Yes. Please."

Azuma: "Guess we settle up...I don't know if anything was decided outside of potentially sharing phonebooths."

Patamon: "Yep. Looks like it'll be you and Hitomi."

Azuma: "Likely for the best."

Hibiki nods along with the conversation and slowly migrates towards one of the empyu booths before crashing down. BlkAgumon follows suit. They both pass out.

*Cameron and Biyomon enter the same booth as Hibiki, then do about the same thing on the other side of the booth*

Kylie:<Which booth do you want?>

*Eve sticks her head in the next booth in line*

A"I don't know. Any one is fine?"

*She walks over, munching on some seaweed that she has wrapped around her hand. Meanwhile, Euryale holds out her spoils to Taiyo.*

E"Want some?"

Taiyo: "Sure."

Taiyo takes a bit of fish and munches and crunches on it, coughing up a bone.

Azuma enters an empty phonebooth with Patamon, Hitomi and Salamon following.

"They didn't even de-bone the fish?"

<Can I have some?>

*Roatha gets in his phone booth or whatever.*

Taiyo: "It's fine. For something they just pulled out of the sea. Sure, Of course."

Taiyo gives some of her fish to Guilmon.

She looks down the beach towards the direction they had come from, snow falling.

Taiyo: "The beach is actually really pretty."

How sleepless of a night will this one be?

Azuma looks up at the ceiling of the phonebooth, his head pressed against the cold wall.

Hitomi: "We won't be sleeping much, will we?"

Azuma: "Not likely."

"I guess it is. Be nicer if it wasn't trying to kill us."

*Guilmon gobbles up the fish.*

*Eve follows Roatha, and sits on the other side of the phonebooth. Kylie chooses the last open one*

Lunamon:<Now let's stuff snow down Cameron's->

*She notices Kylie has already fallen asleep*

Taiyo: "It's not something I'd want to lay on. Well, maybe a little..."

Taiyo discards any bones and shells they may have accumulated and rummages through her backpack for a thing of mouthwash which she goes to use outside, returning a few seconds later. She offers the bottle to Euryale.

"Thanks."

*She guzzles about half of the cup she pours after giving the bottle back to Taiyo. Thinking carefully, she pries open Guilmon's mouth & dumps the other half in there, shaking his head around. She then goes outside to spit, while Guilmon just swallows it & hiccups. Euryale comes back in.*

Terriermon:<So......>

*Terriermon looks between Roatha and Eve*

<Yes?>

Terriermon:<Are we going to sleep or talk a bit?>

They're going to sleep.

Once all settled in, Taiyo cuddles up ti Euryale and falls asleep, purring.

Azuma stirs as sunlight seeps in, catching his eyes. When he opens them he sees the light is coming in through streaks made in the frost on the glass of the phonebooths walls and door.

No other phone booth has these streaks. When Azuma steps out he sees oily, misshapen footprints in the fresh snow leading to and from the ocean around the phonebooth.

Azuma: "Hey, wake up. Something's up."

He goes back in an nudges Patamon who groans and gripes about being woken up. He then nudges Hitomi who stirs slightly before waking up

*Lunamon pulls Kylie's and Aroma's hair to wake them up*

Kylie:<Stop it!>

*She gets up and stretches. Cameron is still asleep*

Biyomon:<Wake up lazy bum.>

*Eve has been up for a while, staring st the ceiling*

A"Owowowowowow!"

*Aroma holds her head & cries. Meanwhile, Euryale jerks awake, trying not to displace Taiyo too much.*

E"(What do you want?!)"

Patamon: "What's going on?"

Azuma: "If only I could answer."

Hitomi fishes her glasses out of the pocket of Azuma's jacket that she's covered up with, putting them on after wiping for her eyes.

Hitomi: "What's wrong?"

Azuma: "Something came skulking around in the night."

Taiyo stirs.

Taiyo: "B...bellyrub."

*Lunamon looks very upset*

<I'm sorry.>

Kylie:<You should be. Are you alright?>

*Eve taps Roatha on the elbow*

<Good morning.>

"Nope."

*Roatha rolls over & resumes sleeping. When Dorumon starts nudging him, he opens the door, shoves the Digimon out, & closes it without hardly moving.*

A"I-I'm f-f-fine...."

*She wipes her eyes & sniffs. Lalamon wakes up & hovers up to rub her head.*

*Euryale just kind of stares at Taiyo. Guilmon sniffs her.*

The two and their partners exit the phonebooth, looking at the foorprints around it.

Renamon comes from further down the beach from the opposite direction they had originally come from.

Patamon: "Those look disgusting. Couldn't you have gone further to use the bathroom?"

Azuma: "Shut up, they're footprints. I think."

Renamon knocks on the door of Taiyurle's booth.

*A small smile crosses Eve's face while Terriermon jumps on Roatha's head*

Terriermon:<It's wakey-wakey time!>

*Kylie still looks very embarrassed*

Lunamon:<I'm sorry, again...>

*Kylie opens the door and sticks her head outside*

*Euryale slides the door open. Guilmon is trying to get his tongue unstuck from the window.*

"Uh, yes?"

*Roatha puts Terriermon outside, too.*
=============================
"It's...fine...."

She sees the events unfolding at opposite ends of her.

Renamon glances at Guilmon, then back to Euryale.

Renamon: "Taiyo isn't awake?"

*Terriermon turns to Dorumon*
