Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

"'Fraid not. Do you need me to wake her up? Or can I help you myself?"

*Guilmon begins using heat breath to try to loosen his tongue.*

D<Usually he has to at least get up to catch me & take me outside.>

*He turns in Kylie's direction. Aroma has also headed outside, carrying Lalamon, who hides by burying her face in Aroma's shoulder.*

D<Uh, hi?>

A"G-good morning."

Renamon: "It's more of a concern for everyone."

Azuma: "Sure, morning."

Terriermon:<How shall we wake him up?>

*Kylie waves*

<Good morning! Sleep well?>

D<He'll wake up soon enough.>

"But she's sleeping so soundly...can't we just fill her in whenever she wakes up?"

Renamon shrugs.

Azuma: "Never do."

Terriermon:<Hopefully.>

*Eve exits, careful to not step on Roatha*

Hibiki stirs, yawns, and walks outside, "What's going on?"

E"That's what I'd like to know."

*Euryale stands up, but since Renamon's still in the doorway, she doesn't go anywhere, & they just kind of awkwardly stare at each other.*

Renamon moves out of the way.

Azuma: "Nothing much. Just we should continue on."

*Cameron follows Hibiki out, yawning*

Kylie:<looks like everyone's up but Taiyo and Roatha.>

Biyomon:<So, everyone survived the night?>

Cameron:<Looks like it.>

*Eve enters the phonebooth and sits down next to Roatha*

"Thanks."

*She heads out, looking at the footprints, & visually tracking them back to the sea.*

"Hm...wait...I think whatever this was, it was after you 2. The footprints are only around THIS phone booth, & they stayed long enough to clear away frost to look inside."

A"Oh! And of course, there are those visions you keep having!"

E"What visions?"

*Meanwhile, Roatha jerks up.*

R"Bathroom."

*He heads out the door.*

Azuma: "I prefer to call them dreams."

Hitomi: "Nightmares."

Azuma: "That works too. Mutuals hallucinations is another good one. Whatever it is was, it just seemed to linger. Assuming we were asleep whenen it came about, we'd be pretty vulnerable."

Taiyo wakes up when she tries to get comfortable only for Euryale to no longer be there holding her up and gets a faceful of cold floor. She shrieks.

Taiyo: "So cold!"

E"Maybe they just wanted to get a look at you. Or they didn't know how to get in."

*Euryale perks her head up & trots back over to Taiyo's phone booth.*

E"Are you alright? Sorry, they wanted us to look at something, but I didn't want to wake you up."

*Roatha disappears to parts unknown to tinkle. Dorumon once again wraps around Aroma, seeing that she's started shivering.*

A"Thank you, Dorumon."

L<Um...thanks.>

"Well that's just creepy. What have you been seeing exactly?"

Lunamon:<What's so special about the two of you?>

*Eve watches Roatha leave, then exits the phonebooth, picking up Terriermon*

Eve:<We should head out.>

Azuma: "Nothing horrific, just the ocean flickering between black and blue. And I don't know. If you want what could be sea monsters staring at you while you sleep, go right ahead."

Taiyo rubs her face.

Taiyo: "Fine. Just a little cold."

Renamon: "They've decided to continue moving."

Taiyo: "Leaving already?"

Taiyo rummages through her backpack, retrieving a pair of jeans and stuffs her blanket back in before standing up staring at the floor.

She slips her sandles off and stands on them while undoing her belts and shorts, dropping them, showing her bikini bottoms. She gasps as her foot slips off onto the cold floor. She then tries to maintain balancing on the sandles as she puts her jeans on, retrieving her belt from her shorts she puts it on, stuffs the shorts back into her bag and puts her sandles back on.

Taiyo: "Okay, ready."

A"I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to finish your socks last night."

E"We couldn't use 'em, anyway, they'd just get wet. They're more for when we're camping out. Don't worry about it, I can carry Taiyo again."

*She turns around, stooping, but still looking behind her.*

E"Hey, nice legs."

Lunamon:<I was just wonderin'.>

Hibiki whistles at Taiyo but BlkAgumon jumps up and whacks him in the head for it.

Taiyo: "Uh...thank you. So we're going? Um...where?"

Renamon: "Further down the beach, back into the forest, there is an ice structure atop a frozen lake."

Azuma: "Someone had a busy night. Lead the way, uh...Renamon."

Eve:<We should wait for Roatha.>

*Kylie and Cameron grab their stuff*

E"That could be a while."

Azuma: "Why not a group of us go on ahead and see what's up while whoever's left waits for him?"

*Eve shrugs*

<We could end up being unable to find each other.>

E"I'm not sure I see the point in splitting up, anyway."

*Since Taiyo isn't getting on her back, she just stands up.*
