Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

Kyubimon stands and flairs her tail out, launching a volley of fireballs at Cyclonemon which lowers its head, shielding its face, charging another Hyper Heat in the process.

It raises its head and fires it at the ceiling, a frozen BlackGreymon falling towards Kyubimon who barely avoids it. The BlackGreymon explodes in chunks of ice and data which the Gizamon Dorumon had been picking on absorbs.

The Gizamon glows and begins growing, becoming bipedal, its two arms taking on different shapes. It lets out a dinosauric roar as the light fades revealing its new [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

The remaining Gizamon spins around and mule kicks Guilmon.

The SnowGoburimon not being attacked simply repeats its previous, freezing Biyomon to the ground while the other one spits an icicle in Lunamon's face.

Gargomon and Hyogamon are now engaged in fisticuffs, although a gatling gun to the face does more than a fist.

The two Digimon ram the monster although it's too big for them to do much about it and it simply kicks Salamon into the wall behind her and swats at Patamon.

Hitomi steps back as it approaches her, Azuma steps in front of it, but it pushes her aside.

Salamon: "Get away from her, you freak."

Hitomi's Digivice vibrates and begins glowing, the light illuminates the hallway showing the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] they're fighting a losing battle against.

Salamon is bathed in the light and begins growing, losing her canine features for feline characteristics. The light fades, but Gatomon is somewhat visible in the darkness due to her fur.

With Porcupamon in sight, she lunges at it.

*Gargomon uses Gargo Laser on Hyogamon's head. Lunamon spits a tear Shot back to counter, then scratches at it using Lunar Claw. Biyomon freezes himself with Double Fire before using Spiral twister on the same SnowGoblinmon*

*Dorumon keeps firing at it, & Guilmon attacks his opponent with a flaming claw or something. Lalamon tries, probably in vain, to put her enemies to sleep with a song.*

E"This looks bad...Renamon, if we can get to another hallway, do you think you can collapse the roof on these guys?"

The Gizamon falls asleep in the middle of a counter attack, the water it was about to exhale just kind of spills out of its mouth, a big gash in it spilling out.

Kyubimon jumps and slides as Deltamon's organic hand tries to chomp down on her, getting a mouthful of ice. Cyclonemon steps into position, the humans in its sight.

Kyubimon: "Not while Cyclonemon lives and breathes."

Kyubimon charges while it readies a Hyper Heat, and rams with Dragon's Wheel as it attacks, knocking it off course. The humans feels the heat as it passes them and it melts a hole in the wall nearest them, incinerating a frozen Digimon, its data floating in the air.

One SnowGoburimon goes down, Biyomon taking an icicle to the back in the process for turning its back on an enemy.

Hyogamon punches Gargomon in the stomach and shoves past him to absorb the data of its fallen comrade.

The wounds in its head close up and it backhands Lunamon.

The Porcupamon begins coughing as the hose on its mask is severed, Patamon firing Boom Bubbles where the coughs are coming from while Gatomon hits it with a flurry of scratches via Lightning Paw.

*Euryale looks around for any kind of discarded weapon, like one of Dorumon's cannonballs. After careful consideration, Guilmon absorbs the data as he's likely closest, & then picks up the Gizamon in his teeth & starts gnashing it around, trying to destroy it. Dorumon & Lalamon fire at Cyclonemon's eye(s?).*

*Gargomon stumbles back, them luges at Hyogamon, trying to punch him in his own stomach. If he makes contact, gargomon uses Gargo Laser at close range. Lunamon fire a Tear Shot at the hand, then turns to attack the remaining SnowGoblinmon. Biyomon uses Double Fire on it*

Guilmon feels like a new mon absorbing the data of some poor bastard while he eats another poor bastard. Euryale's Digivice goes through the whole Digivolution speel I'm tired of typing.

Cyclonemon only has one eye (as suggested by its original name), the rest of its head being all bone or something makes Dorumon's attacking its eye difficult. Cyclonemon tries to back away from Kyubimon, but she refuses to let up, clawing and biting it.

Deltamon lumbers over Aroma, its skeletal mouth opening.

Gargomon gets a fistful of club and faceful of forehead while Lunamon gets a faceful of backhand.

SnowGoburimon intercepts the attack with an icicle breath and follows through with a sliding shoulder check.

Gatomon gasps as Porcupamon's razor hairs cut into her and she repeats her Lightning Paw, scratching up the monster.

*Biyomon retaliates with Pecking Attack. Gargomon fires on Hyogamon's head, then punches him in the stomach with Bunny Pummel. Lunamon uses Lunar Claw on the remaining SnowGoblinmon*

OOC: It clearly said that they attack the same eye if it only has one. Quit being stupid.

*Lalamon is about to make her heroic stand when Growlmon fucking charges Deltamon's ass, grabbing him & trying to slam him into the wall. Aroma ducks & covers her head, making odd whimpering noises. Dorumon continues to provide support fire for Kyubimon.*

Gizamon wakes up, pieces missing from it and sprays a half-assed jet of water at Dorumon. Most of the water is spilling out of the side of its mouth via the missing half of its jaw.

Deltamon roars and grapples Growlmon the best it can without hands, clawing him with the horn on its skeletal hand.

Kyubimon wrestles Cyclonemon to the ground, gnashing at its neck, data flowing out.

Hyogamon erects a wall of ice to block against Gargomon and absorbs the data of the destroyed SnowGoburimon.

It proceeds to take all its frustration out on Lunamon starting with a kick all with renewed vigor.

Porcupamon: "God...Is...Watching..."

The hallway lights up with the data of the dissolving Porcupamon. Everyone can see multiple cuts along Hitomi's arms, a few on her left leg, a tear in her sweater on her left side, and blood running down her chin.

Azuma: "Did it...?"

He points to his chin and she lowers her head. Azuma drapes his jacket around, a number of tears in it as well, and she puts it on.

Azuma: "Feel free to wipe the blood on the sleeve."

The light fades and they continue down the hall, Gatomon reverting to Salamon.

*Dorumon rolls, turns, & fires back. Lalamon also adds her attack to the mix. Growlmon breathes a bunch of flame in Deltamon's face, then while it's blinded by fucking fire, slashes at its side with one of its energy blade things.*

*Lunamon runs to a safe distance, then uses Lop eared Ripple to freeze the Hyogamon in place. Biyomon then uses Spiral Twister on it, while Gargomon charges and uses Bunny Pummel*

The Gizamon dissolves into data.

Deltamon roars, opening its mouths, charging a breath attack in each mouth. Its main head looking at Growlmon while the other two face the humans.

Cyclonemon grunts, Kyubimon feeling heat around her mouth while her teeth are in Cyclonemon's neck. She jumps back and digs her claws into the ice to stop from sliding, her tails flairing out.

The two attack, both taking the blows, Kyubimon forced back and on the ground failing to maintain her balance while Cyclonemon stands the whole in its neck, smoking before it begins dissolving starting from there and spreading outward.

Gargomon hits another wall of ice, while the bubbles around Hyogamon begin to fade.

Hitomi makes no effort to look at Azuma after he had taken her hand, instead staring at the floor as it becomes more visible.

Are we connected somehow? The dreams and the visions we share with each other and no one else. Would we still be connected after we defeat what is causing them?

Azuma: "Do you believe in God?"

Hitomi: "God?"

Azuma: "Yes. That thing said 'God is watching,' which I wouldn't think is anything like the God that the people of our world believe in. At least not the kind people describe as the epitome of good. Anyway, I don't believe in the God of our world, but what if there's a God or even Gods in this world."

Salamon: "Uh, there is. There's the entity that made this world and there are Digimon whose power is so unrivaled that they're viewed as Gods."

Azuma: "And one of these Gods is watching us?"

Salamon: "Not likely. If they were doing something they'd have cleaned up this mess already."

*Gargomon uses Gargo Laser on the Ice, trying to break though. Biyomon helps out with Spiral Twister, while Lunamon Tear Shots the Hyogamon*

*Growlmon attempts to cut its arms right off while the humans run for cover, Euryale picking up Taiyo rather not unlike a sack of potatoes. Since it worked for Guilmon, Dorumon tries absorbing the free-flowing data.*

And it does.

Deltamon having a lot of arm to cut through, it doesn't go over well,especially when Growlmon takes a Triplex Force at point blank range while the other two blasts level a sizable portion of the wall the entrance was apart of.

Kyubimon absorbs Cyclonemon's data, her wounds clearing up and launches a salvo of fireballs at Deltamon's back.

Gargomon manages to break through the ice as the bubbles fade and Hyogamon hurls a large ball of ice at Lunamon.

Hitomi: "I've never given it any thought."

The halls begin to get brighter as the light sources return, less Digimon in the walls, and the paths don't shift as much.

Azuma: "Must mean we're getting close to something."

*Dorugamon flies over to assist Growlmon. They each take hold of one of its arms & pull in opposing directions, attempting to rip the fucker right in half. Lalamon tries not to feel too disheartened over the fact that she hasn't Digivolved yet & keeps spitting seeds in its eyes.*

*Gargomon shoots Hyogamon in the head, while Lunamon runs out of the way before using Tear Shot at his stomach. Biyomon adds in Spiral Twister to the face*

With their powers combined, Deltamon is destroyed. But they don't become Captain Planet.

The room is ravaged by the Digimon's attacks making crossing to the exit trecherous with all the craters in the floor and piles of debris.

This is going nowhere, so Digivolution for Lunamon.

And Gargomon's attacks are intercepted by a wall of ice.

*Kind of a moot point, as Growlmon just bends down & plants his claw near Euryale, Taiyo, & Roatha, & the other one near Aroma, so that they can climb up on his back.*

*Lunamon greatly encreases in size, growing into a more human-like shape*

Kylie:<Lunamon!>

*Lekismon attacks Hyogamon on the other side, using Tear Arrow. Gargomon runs around the ice and uses Bunny Pummel. Biyomon double fires the ice*

Kyubimon reverts back to Renamon while Taiyo climbs up on Growlmon, her arms around Euryale's waist.

Hyogamon avoids Gargomon's attack by jumping and sliding back on the ice, but fails to avoid Lekismon's attack. It forms a large ball of ice which it then hurls at Gargomon.

Azuma: "Oh dear."

They enter a room which contains only a staircase and a sculpture (meaning they're both covered in ice) of Hibiki and BlackAgumon.

Hibiki's body is contorted into a strange, unfamiliar [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], his death likely being most painful given how his arms are bent while BlackAgumon was seemingly granted mercy as nothing outside of being frozen was done to him.

The two return to the hall they came from, not wishing to see the grim site.

*Gargomon runs around the ice ball, then follows Hyogamon, firing Gargo Laser. Lekismon charges, using Tear Arrow again*

*Roatha sits behind Taiyo, but just twiddles his thumbs. Aroma walks up beside him, & points to his spot.*

A"Um...excuse me but...I...wanted to sit...there."

R"Don't worry, Guilmon--"

G<Growlmon.>

R"--Whoevermon won't throw you off, or anything. You can hold on to my jacket, if you're nervous."

A"Um...right...very good...."

*She sits behind him & grabs his jacket loosely, but does not seem very happy about it. When Growlmon starts moving, she screws her eyes shut, digs her chin into his shoulder & wraps her arms around his waist tight enough that he starts coughing.*

When Growlmon gets into the hallway he finds the ceiling noticibly lower than in the previous room that he pretty much has to drag his face on the floor to avoid dragging his head across the ceiling.

Hyogamon erects two walls, one to shield against Gargomon's attack and so he has something to run into when he's sliding around on the ice like something not in its element while it uses the other one to push off of and deliver a sliding shoulder check to Lekismon, giving her the brunt of its shoulder pylon thing.
