Old Ones Return (III)

Azuma: "I prefer sane. Hell, we barely function as a team  and you want to take on an army of trained killers?"

"I want to stop their reign of terror. Besides, we've done a good job so far, haven't we? We're paid interns now."

Lunamon:<Don't listen to him. He's just being a downer, as usual.>

Biyomon:<If we find them, that'll be the end.>

Azuma: "We all want to put an end to their reign, but going in swinging our fists isn't a good plan."

"Then what IS a good plan?"

Lunamon:<Yeah. You could be constructive, instead of bitching 24/7.>

Azuma: "Actually co-operating as a whole rather than seperate pairs would be a good place to start."

"We're suggesting a group attack. You don't want to be a part of it."

Biyomon:<If you don't want to be a part of this, you may as well go back to the human world.>

Azuma: "An uncoordinated group attack."

"Whatever. Why don't we take a vote? All in favor?"

*Euryale & Agumon raise their hands.*

Hitomi and Taiyo are having no part in this argument  and therefore do nothing.

*Lunamon, Biyomon, Kylie and Cameron all raise their hands*

"Looks like a tie. Will you stop being so prissy if we at least look at their forces?"

Lunamon:<Or you could stop being a pain in the ass.>

Azuma: "Would be nice."

A"Oh, wait, don't they have guns?"

E"Yeah, so?"

A"What if they just kind of shoot you in the head?"

*He points to his own head.*

E"We'd just be peeking out of the cave, it's nothing to worry about."

A"What if they've got one of those snippy things, or whatever you call 'em, watching the exit?"

E"What are you...oh, a sniper? Um...shit, I hadn't thought of that...."

Lunamon:<Hm, can anyone here turn invisible?>

Biyomon:<Not to my knowledge.>

Azuma: "There's also the possibiliy the cave could be rigged to explode. Where are we drilling with this thing, Digimon China?"

"Well, it's not exploding. We can't worry about every little thing."

*She shrugs.*

"And I don't know, maybe."

Azuma: "Just haven't triggered them yet."

Cameron:<then let's hope we continue to not trigger them.>

E"Well, I think--"

*Suddenly the ground under them falls away as the portal expands. The drill falls into a partially dead forest below. As they hurtle through the clouds, cold air whipping their flesh raw, they can see a gothic mansion sitting atop a mountain in the distance, illuminated by the light of the sun from a large S.O. portal in the sky--otherwise, it's night out. Flying around the mountain are helicopters. Euryale grabs her D-Power & quickly slashes Hyper Wing. Agumon uses his wings to put on a burst of speed & dives towards her.*

*Biyomon digivolves and grabs the others*

Saberdramon:<Damn it! They beat us here.>

Patamon Digivolves to catch Azuma and Hitomi  & Salamon.

Taiyo swipes Aero Wing and Renamon dives to catch here.
