Episode Six: Absolute Territory

Dobermon yelps and fires a laser at Growlmon through the fire and flames. LadyDevimon approaches Aroma and grabs her by the collar.

LadyDevimon: "Instead of a slave, you're now a hostage. Congratulations."

Renamon jumps and attacks Dobermon with Diamond Storm while Taiyo tries to make her way around the Digimon to get to the bedroom.

DoruGreymon's tail now has a big ol' burn on it, a sharp pain running up it and throughtout his body.

Dobermon X-Antibody is crushed under the meteor.

Zarek: "We'll hang back here. I'm not the fighting type and Bastemon isn't in the condition to do so."

Azuma: "Yeah, sure."

He doesn't actually look back at them as they decide to chill in the main hall leaving them to go deeper into the castle.

MetalPhantomon: "Not fire munitions in a confined area, thus putting her in this condition."

MetalPhantomon slashes Rapidmon across the back.

MetalPhantomon: "But while the light of her soul still shines, she'll still be of use."

OOC: Fuck your shit, I'mma fuck up this bitch.

*Lalamon shoots seeds at LadyDevimon's eye & she sees not the fury that besets her as Euryale helps get Taiyo where she wants to go & then breaks off to teach LadyDevimon a lesson. Grabbing her arm & Aroma's collar, she pulls until the fabric rips. Once Aroma is running free, Euryale promptly kicks LadyDevimon in the stomach & smashes her in the face with the back of her fist before ducking under the arm, twisting it as she gets behind LadyDevimon, gets her in a stranglehold, kicks her in the ankle, & starts kneeing her in the lower back. The whole time, Lalamon continues to fire support, focusing mainly on LadyDevimon's face, except when Euryale's fist is in the way. Aroma takes clings onto Taiyo, looking awed & frightened.*

R"We have to find & rescue Eve. Aroma's taking care of Kylie."

*Dorugreymon waddles on out after him.*

*Assuming Lunamon is now free, she runs over to Cameron*

Cameron:<Eve's here? Anyway, Kylie's being tortured by LadyDevimon. We need to warn Aroma.>

*Biyomon waves goodbye to Bastemon then continues with Azuma and Hitomi*

*Rapidmon tries to duck then punches Phantomon again*

Growlmon feels a sharp pain in his chest from where the laser struck, like he's having a heart attack. Renamon tackles Dobermon and begins hammering on it with her fists.

Taiyo just hugs Aroma, leading her out of the room while a large Gazimon creeps on by wanting no part in this conflict.

LadyDevimon blasts Lalamon with eye beams and grabs Euryale's arm, a burning sensation spreading through it to the rest of her body. Euryale us probably too busy trying to win an impossible fist fight while her body is destroyed from the inside out to notice the bright orange glow coming from her chest.

Eve's signal begins to flicker. It's still some ways away.

The Gazimon looks at Cameron totally unamused.

S Gazimon: "You're really unreliable if that confuses you. You're all here. Whichever one this one's--"

It points at Roatha.

S Gazimon: "Looking for is probably with the Reaper."

Angewomon: "And where do you think you're going?"

Angewomon picks the Gazimon up by the scruff of its neck.

M Gazimon: "Back with the Agent and Bastemon. Whatever's left is probably DarkKnightmon's monsters and its cronies. DarkKnightmon creeped me out as is. The Assassin and Reaper aren't anyone I want to be near."

It wrestles from her clutches and buggers off leaving them to continue without any kind of guide.

MetalPhantomon dodges and pushes Rapidmon away, looking at a moniter.

MetalPhantomon: "Vital signs fading. If that light goes out, this will all be for naught."

It goes off to a still barely functioning computer and begins inputting commands.

*WarGrowlmon grabs Renamon with one hand & gently sets her aside while smacking Dobermon aside with his other arm. He then strides over & grabs LadyDevimon by the head as Euryale lets go, & smashes her into the floor.*

A"Wait, we can't leave them!"

*Thinking the same, Euryale makes her way to Lalamon.*

*Roatha gestures for Dorugreymon to come to him. He does, standing behind Roatha & growling at Gazimon.*

*Cameron crosses his arms*

Rapidmon:<What did you do to her?!>

Lalamon is looking pretty haggard after her face...bodyful whatever of eye beam.

Dobermon yelps as it sputters across the floor. It lets out one final ear splitting yelp as Renamon finishes it off with a Diamond Storm which promptly pisses LadyDevimon off.

WarGrowlmon gets a feel of the same burning sensation Euryale got as it uses him to stand up, its nails digging into his flesh.

LadyDevimon: "You will learn why I survived their inquisition. Why I was the strongest of the Daemon Corps and why I will surpass the Goddess!"

Gazimon waves a paw in its face as DoruGreymon's breath smells like ass.

S Gazimon: "Could've fooled me. But at least you're not the one with the map asking for directions."

It points down the hall.

S Gazimon: "West Tower, down the hall, turn at the second left and it's the first door you see. Good luck getting this one up the stairs."

It then buggers off in the opposite direction. Should Roatha be looking at his Digivice, Azuma, Cameron, and Hitomi's signals appear closer to Eve's.

Passing through some hallway, they see Eve's signal is close, Roatha's a little ways off and the others a hell of a long way away from their current location.

MetalPhantomon: "For one known as the Keen Hound, you don't live up to the title. How did the Child of Knowledge end up with such an incompatible partner?"

Rapidmon:<Oh, go fuck yourself. I just woke up and have no idea what's going on.>

*Roatha sets off, typing as he walks.*

To Aroma: LadyDevimon is with Kylie. Are you okay?

OOC: I assume they feel no effects, because poison does nothing, if LadyDevimon's own actions after being attacked by Lilamon are any indication.

*WarGrowlmon just blasts her with energy from the gunports on his chest. Euryale scoops up Lalamon & dashes to Aroma.*

E"You're going to be okay, we'll get you bandaged up in a minute!"

OOC: Lilamon's profile just says it's enough to kill the opponent. Does it happen instantly? Six minutes from the time of being poisoned? Six years?

LadyDevimon screams in his face and gives him a faceful of eye lasers.

Renamon goes in, Digivolving up to Taomon, taking longer than she should due to WarGrowlmon's fat ass being in the way.

Taiyo: "You were very brave, Aroma."

The two groups meet up which is probably more signifigant for Cameron & Biyomon leaving Lunamon as the odd one out.

MetalPhantomon: "And your initial reaction is to start firing munitions in a place where you're at a disadvantage? Yes, keen indeed."

OOC: If you're going to try to bullshit that the poison does nothing, I suddenly feel my interest in this RP waning again.

E"You must have been. This little one must have learned it from somewhere."

*She holds up Lalamon. Aroma takes her, starting to cry.*

A"Lalamon, are you alright?!"

L<Sorry...I know you wanted everything to...work out peacefully....>

*Euryale starts digging out her first aid kit.*

E"Don't blame yourself. This is all LadyDevimon's fault, & she's going to pay the price for spitting on your generosity. And thank you for helping me."

*Growlmon is getting tired of being blasted with lasers, so he pokes her in the eyes, looking to see what's around the room that he might be able to use.*

*Cameron hugs Biyomon, taking his stuff back*

Cameron:<I'm going to rescue Kylie. We'll meet back up with you as fast as possible.>

*And so Cameron, Biyomon, and Lunamon head back down to the throne room, then go off in the direction LadyDevimon took Kylie*

It's a bedroom. They're close to a bed, pet bed, and end table. On the other side of the bed is a matching end table and elsewhere in the room is a set of balcony doors, a vanity, and a lot of mirrors showing the fight from multiple angles.

LadyDevimon shrieks and covers its eye with one hand and sets out to stab WarGrowlmon with the other until Taomon smacks LadyDevimon away with her brush.

Taiyo: "Yeah, yo-"

Taiyo lets go of Aroma and clutches her stomach, gritting her teeth in pain, a green glowing from the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] that appears over her Crest escaping from between her fingers.

In the back of her mind, she hears a soft feminine voice with a hint of malice.

How can you see with all that lust in your eyes?

In the frozen north of File Island, a goddess trapped within her sanctuary cries out in pain.

Azuma: "MagnaAngemon."

MagnaAngemon stops to heal DoruGreymon gnarly side wound that'd surely spell disaster for him in the upcoming future.

They come to a door that DoruGreymon sure as Hell won't fit through, Eve's fading signal close by.

Not knowing where Kylie was taken, Cameron is looking to get himself lost like the unreliable brother he tries not to be.

MetalPhantomon: "Not without provokation. And now I'm the only one who can possibly save her. Or keep her alive."

MetalPhantomon looks at the damaged machinery scattered about the lab.

MetalPhantomon: "Internal damage may not be fully repairable."

<What provocation would that be? Also, you better keep her alive.>

*Find then. He wanders around, searching for her*

R"Thank you."

*Dorugreymon reverts to Dorumon, & they start up the stairs, Roatha looking at the apparently "fading" signal.*

R"I wonder what this means?"

*They both grab her to try to steady her & yell her name. WarGrowlmon tries not to be distracted, blasting LadyDevimon again.*

Taiyo: "I'm...I'm okay. Just a...a tummyache."

LadyDevimon throws the pet bed in WarGrowlmon's face and takes a stab at Taomon who blocks with a Ying Yang shield.

His only lead is the signal of her Digivice, Aroma, Euryale, and Taiyo's signals in the same area.

At the top of the stairs is another door, two voices can be heard, one quite frantic as well as sounds like malfunctioning machinery.

Inside Roatha gets a good hard look at Eve in a less than attractive pose, her body battered, wires protruding from her torso and very much unresponsive.

MetalPhantomon looks at them, somewhat intrigued, ignoring Rapidmon.

MetalPhantomon: "You must be the three the Child of Knowledge has formed the strongest bonds with."

R"And you must be a dead Digimon."

*Dorumon re-Digivolves.*

*He slashes LadyDevimon with his energized arm blade.*

A"It was more than that!"

E"Your thingy glowed!"

*She points to Taiyo's stomach.*

<Roatha, don't! Eve will die!>

*So Cameron looks around for a gazimon or something close*

LadyDevimon jumps over the bed, wincing as it lands and flips the bed at them before making its way towards the balcony doors.

Taiyo: "It's gone now, I'm okay."

DoruGreymon's fatass knocks shit over, his wings scraping against the ceiling and he's overall being in the way.

MetalPhantomon: "Another one who can't see when they're at a disadvantage. The late Duftmon's partner would be so disappointed."

There's no one around, but he can hear the sounds of battle from down the hall.

*WarGrowlmon bats it aside & activates his thrusters, grabbing her.*

WG<I thought you weren't afraid. Why are you running?>

E"I don't think that's just going to go away & never come back."

*Aroma suddenly realizes that Lalamon is half-comatose in her arms, & starts trying to open the first aid kit while still holding her Digimon.*

*Dorugreymon curls around the people & the machines. Then he fires a massive cannonball. Straight up. His body mass will protect everyone but Metalphantomon from the collapsing ceiling, & then he'll have room to work in.*

*Rapidmon dives in front of Eve*

MetalPhantomon cleaves through any falling debris coming its way.

MetalPhantomon: "Did you not heed the Hounds words? The Child of Knowledge will die. Destroy me and she dies too."

He sees Aroma, Euryale, and Taiyo hugging it out or something.

Taiyo: "It might. If it does come back, maybe I don't know, you could--"

She smiles at Euryale. It's kind of forced, like she's trying to make light of the current fairly bad situation.

Taiyo: "Rub my belly and make it go away?"

LadyDevimon zaps him in the face with its good eye and continues towards the doors.

LadyDevimon: "Running away? Hardly. Any idiot could see when a change of location is required. Of course, you're not any idiot."

At the doors, Taomon is waiting to strike LadyDevimon aside.

*Euryale returns the weak smile.*

E"I guess we could try it."

*WarGrowlmon turns & smashes LadyDevimon into the floor. He turns her head so that she can't keep blasting him with eye lasers.*

WG<Give up. I don't want to hurt you like this.>

E"I don't think you really have a choice. Besides, she kinda deserves it."

*Meanwhile, Aroma is disinfecting Lalamon. Lalamon squeaks, & tries not to cry.*

R"That sounds like the kind of bullshit someone would tell me if they didn't want me to kill them. And anyway, like I told DarkKnightmon, we don't have to kill you. If you want to make it harder on yourself, you go right ahead."

Rapidmon:<Why don't you fix her already?>

*Biyomon digivolves to Saberdramon, who flies towards the battle. Cameron and Lunamon walk over to the other humans*

Saberdramon mostly gets in the way as giant birds often do when indoors. LadyDevimon stabs WarGrowlmon in the stomach.

LadyDevimon: "So the unreliable one is here? This is just perfect."

Taiyo: "Thank you. What about you, Aroma? Would you like to help as well if it happens again?"

Taiyo begins to blush and starts stammering unsure of where that request had comes especially in the current situation.

MetalPhantomon: "So DarkKnightmon has fallen? Quite tragic, but that means I have no rival in my research."

It taps a few keys on the computer and the moniters begin beeping wildly.

MetalPhantomon: "Her life is at my fingertips. And currently her vital signs are fading further. I'd prefer not to dispose of her, but if push comes to shove, so be it."
