Episode Six: Absolute Territory

*Dorugreymon bites him in the throat, flying upwards. Roatha points at him, still glaring coldly.*

"You know, for a scientist, you're not very smart. After you put her in this position in the first place, then threatened to kill her, there's no way I'm gonna let you do what you want. So the new deal is this: If she dies, you take her place, & we start playing Dr. Frankenstein."

*Aroma just looks at her in confusion anyway.*

WG<She's right. You're spineless, & beyond any hope.>

*He blasts her right in the face.*

Taiyo just slinks behind Euryale, unsure if that's a wise decision.

Taiyo: "Sorry...just forget I said anything."

LadyDevimon stabs Saberdramon and follows through slashing WarGrowlmon across the face.

LadyDevimon: "You're as unreliable as the human. What business do you have getting involved in a fight you can't possibly adequately assist in?"

LadyDevimon swings at Taomon as she moves in. Half its face being mangled, hindering its vision the attack misses by a lot.

MagnaAngemon steps up to bat, his hands glowing. He places them upon Eve and the machines all begin beeping and buzzing at regular intervals.

MetalPhantomon forces DoruGreymon back as its leverage vanishes due to it being touched by an angel. The Reaper howls in rage, the blade of its scythe grows with its wielders anger and its own hunger for souls, before being brought down on DoruGreymon.

Eve feels movement within her body as everything mends and returns to its proper place. The words ΓΝΩΘΙ ΣΑΥΤΟΝ flash through her mind once more followed by a familiar female voice asking if she believes in love.

OOC: He never had any leverage, he sucks at negotiating.

*DoruGreymon does its best to swoop to the side & lash at this fuck with his tail.*

*Aroma scratches her head, growing more confused. WarGrowlmon blasts LadyDevimon again.*

*Sabermon dives away before using Night Roar*

Cameron:<Where is my sister?!>

*Rapidmon fires on Phantomon*

<You're so dead now.>

LadyDevimon: "Where someone as unreliable as you will never reach her."

LadyDevimon conjures up a mess of bat-like creatures to mob her foes while she makes her way outside on to the balcony.

Azuma: "Alone we may be lost, but together we stand tall."

The archangels take flight, MetalPhantomon shrieks. It's not a pained shriek, but those in the room feel a sharp pain within the depths of their chest as if their very soul is on the verge of being pulled out by the Reaper's shrieking.

*Cameron screams in fury, while Saberdramon counters with Night Roar*

*Assuming Eve is awake, she covers her ears. Rapidmon does the same, then fires again*

*Roatha drops to one knee, but remains glaring at Phantomon. Dorugreymon fires his meteor.*

*Aroma bandages Lalamon up & I can only assume she now looks like a mummy. Meanwhile, WarGrowlmon electrocutes the bats & flies after LadyDevimon.*

LadyDevimon takes to the skies, leaving Toamon grounded as she can't fly.

LadyDevimon fires its lone eyebeam at its pursuers.

Eve's arms being bound she can do nothing, but grin and bear it.

MetalPhantomon blocks with the blade of its scythe, sparks flying, striking the two of them and anyone else within close proximity of the two battling monsters.

*Saberdramon dodges the lasers then follows LD into the sky, using Night Roar again*

*Rapidmon fires. Again*

OOC: Whatever.

*WarGrowlmon swats the eye beam away with his metal arm & blasts her again.*

*DoruGreymon blocks with his horn & rushes MetalPhantomon. Roatha recovers, & turns to Eve.*

R"Are you alright?"

LadyDevimon evades and mobs the two with another thing bat-like creatures, getting up in Saberdramon's grill.

LadyDevimon: "Remember how DarkKnightmon brought you down?"

Its hand transforms into a spear-like appendage.

He gets a lovely close up of the wires sticking out of Eve that'll probably leave some gnarly scars.

MetalPhantomon hovers above DoruGreymon, letting him run into a table. This is when Angewomon and MagnaAngemon fire at it.

Eve:<I don't know.>

*Rapidmon fires with the angels*

*Saberdramon counters with Night Roar*

<This time will be different!>

*WarGrowlmon discharges electricity at the bats & flies after LadyDevimon.*

*Dorugreymon also fires his meteor.*

R"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to...figure this out."

LadyDevimon shields itself with its regular arm or as regular as it can be with all the burns, scrapes, and other wounds and stabs Saberdramon with the spear arm.

LadyDevimon: "Not likely. You're as unreliable as your partner."

Removing the spear, LadyDevimon backs off from Saberdramon, firing an eye laser at WarGrowlmon.

On the balcony, Taomon reverts to Renamon and returns to the inside of the room.

Sparks flicker from beneath MetalPhantomon's torn and burned cloak, its face sports some dents and one eye seems to have a crazy kind of glow to it. It slashes DoruGreymon with its scythe, the blade glowing.

MetalPhantomon: "A killer trying to express compassion? How laughable."

It then stares DoruGreymon down.

MetalPhantomon: "Beneath that tired body lies a true killer. A heartless monster that exists only to devour the hearts of all that cross its path."

MetalPhantomon reaches a hand out to DoruGreymon's chest.

MetalPhantomon: "Allow me to show you."

*Saberdramon uses Black Saber at close range*

<You know nothing about being reliable!>

Eve:<Can you help me down?>

Rapidmon:<Get away from him!>

*He fires again*

<You're crazy.>

*Giant meteor to the center mass. Meanwhile, Roatha looks Eve up & down, tilting his head.*

R"I...don't really know how any of these wires even work."

*Euryale moves to Renamon.*

E"Is something wrong?"

*Meanwhile, WarGrowlmon bats away the eye laser & speeds towards LadyDevimon, aiming to run her through with his claw.*

Renamon: "I am incapable of flight. This is WarGrowlmon, Saberdramon, and--"

She looks to Cameron.

Renamon: "Your fight."

LadyDevimon: "I can be reliable to ensure you won't see the Child of Kindness again."

LadyDevimon parries WarGrowlmon's attack and cuts him across the side and flies higher.

LadyDevimon: "It's painful, isn't it? Knowing you've let down someome you care most about. It's a fate that won't be exclusive to you and the Child of Reliability, but to the majority of you."

MetalPhantomon growls and recoils. With a roar it lunges forth and plunges a hand in DoruGreymon's chest, moving it around as if searching for something.

It stares at DoruGreymon, a deranged look in its damaged eyes, sparks flying as it speaks.

MetalPhantomon: "The removal of the DigiCore, the heart of all Digimon results in an instantaneous death. But your species is unique. You continue on as a mockery of the cycle we all must live."

DoruGreymon's vision goes blurry as it feels a sharp pain within his body.

MetalPhantomon: "There it is..."

*Cameron nods. Saberdramon uses Night Roar*

<You're wrong!>

*Lunamon starts looking around for Kylie's digivice*

*Rapidmon continues to fire at MetalPhantomon*

Eve:<Same here.>

*Roatha looks up.*

R"Hey, try not to kill him, we might need him to tell us how this stuff works!"

D<I'll do what I can!>

*DoruGreymon bites his damn arm with full intent to tear it right off.*

E"Makes sense."

*WarGrowlmon blasts LadyDevimon with atomic energy. Again.*

Aroma has it. In other news, Cameron's wrist glows grey while outside Saberdramon begins glowing and shit.

LadyDevimon intercepts the blasts with Darkness Wave then stares, gawking at the Digivolving Saberdramon.

LadyDevimon: "Impossible."

It lunges at Saberdramon, intent on running him through before the Digivolution process can be complete.

DoruGreymon has a sore mouth from chewing through metal and wires as well as a cybernetic arm hanging from his chest which dissolves into data.

Howling, MetalPhantomon spins around DoruGreymon intent on using him as a shield.

MetalPhantomon: "Now you intend on displaying mercy? How many have you slain with out a second thought? DarkKnightmon, DarkTyrannomon, MetalTyrannomon, MarineDevimon, the list goes on."

MagnaAngemon dives down, taking a swing at MetalPhantomon who merely drops its oversized scythe in his path cutting him off.

*WarGrowlmon tackles her while her back is turned, digging his claws into her chest & stomach.*

*Roatha keeps looking up.*

R"...You're not paying any attention, are you? Once again, for a scientist, you're not very bright. Bring him down low, Dorugreymon!"

*Dorugreymon whirls around, trying to grab him with his limbs & claws & force him down to the ground.*

*Karatenmon appears out of the light, immediately diving away from LD. Then he uses Feather Flare*

Cameron:<We did it!>

*Lunamon goes over to Aroma*

<Can I have Kylie's stuff?>

Eve:<They did attack us.>

*Rapidmon waits until he has a clear shot before firing again*

LadyDevimon blasts WarGrowlmon the hell off with Darkness Wave and recouperates, looking quite worn out.

LadyDevimon: "I'm sorry, are we just pretending? Let me know when you're ready."

MetalPhantomon says no to that and squirms away.

The blade on its scythe shrinks down to a more managable size. Prefering to die rather than be killed and out of spite, MetalPhantomon turns the scythe on itself leaving them with no one who can clean up the mess.

*Dorugreymon attempts to swipe the scythe out of its hand.*

*WarGrowlmon growls & fires another blast.*

"Oh. Of course."

*Aroma gives stuff to a deformed rabbit thing.*
