*Euryale takes Taiyo's hand & steps towards Kylie.*

E"We killed LadyDevimon. The ordeal is over."

*Guilmon & Aroma cluster behind her, Aroma holding Lalamon.*

A"Is there...anything we can do?"

*Assuming they get Kylie down, they set her down on the ground*

Kylie:<Really?>

*Cameron nods*

Terriermon:<Yeah, well?>

Taiyo: "Do you still have any bandages, Aroma?"

Zarek: "Well, the machines are inoperable, so that'll make this easier."

He looks to Eve, somewhat distraught.

Zarek: "It means that those wires are going to have to come out. And being awake, you're going to feel it."

Eve:<Okay.>

*Kylie crosses her arms over her chest, embarrassed*

*Roatha slaps Zarek in the back of the head.*

R"What kind of third world joint are you running? Find some anesthesia somewhere, you jackass."

D<I think Lalamon's song can put people to sleep.>

*Roatha turns & points an accusing finger at Dorumon.*

R"We can make fun of Lalamon later, this is serious."

D<That's...not what I meant....>

A"Oh--yes!"

*She digs out the first aid kit.*

Taiyo briefly glances about, unnerved by the blades, gags, and other contraptions before stopping at the mirror showing the throne room.

Taiyo: "What's that?"

Zarek: "This is a place of pain and suffering. You will not find anything of the sort here. Either wait for the others to arrive or do what you can do here."

R"And what's your excuse for being unprepared for an emergency? Are you poor?"

*Roatha sends a message.*

E"What's what?"

*Euryale steps up to look at the thing too. Aroma approaches Kylie with the bandages. While she's doing that, Lalamon fishes out the D-Terminal & opens it with her stubby arms.*

L<Roatha says he needs my help.>

Kylie:<It let me see Cameron bring hurt before Roatha showed up.>

*Eve groans*

Taiyo: "Oh..."

Taiyo looks at her Digivice.

Taiyo: "The others aren't far from here."

Zarek: "The troubles you face are different than those that I face. I don't wish to make it a habit of seeing you all in person. You all have to stand together with help from no one, but each other."

Eve:<Why?>

Terriermon:<500 yen it's some bullshit.>

*Kylie smiles at Aroma*

<Thanks.>

*Roatha throws up his hands, then starts shaking them in Zarek's general direction.*

R"Are you retarded? We're in YOUR world, you're the only one who knows where anything goddamn IS!"

*Now he starts gesticulating in random directions.*

R"If we need some shit, we can't just take a walk back home & fucking get it!"

*Finally, he points at the computers.*

R"What are we supposed to do if we encounter more weird machines because they're wired to one of us, or there's a big door we need to open, or some shit? Hit them until they do what we want? If I knew we'd need a computer technician, I'd have fucking brought one!"

E"You'd better go, then. I'll help Kylie. You've got Lalamon, & you can message us if you need help."

A"Well...alright...."

*Aroma casts a fearful look down the hall, so Euryale steps up & puts a hand on her shoulder.*

E"Hey, don't worry. Nothing's going to happen. And even if it did, we'll always come to the rescue."

*Aroma smiles nervously & heads off. Euryale takes her place.*

Aroma's journey takes her further down the hall that had brought them to Kylie and to another door and stairs.

Zarek: "One of the principles The Order was founded on was Friendship. I am not your friend. I will aid you only in extreme cases, but I will not hold your hand and guide you throughout your journey. There are obstacles you as a group will have to overcome yourselves."

With that he steps out, passing Aroma & Lalamon as they go presumably go up the stairs.

*Roatha grabs him on his way out, ignoring Aroma's wave. Her arm falls limply to her side as she frowns & stares awkwardly between them.*

R"That's fine, I don't really like you either. But I think there's something you should keep in mind. If you're relying on us to defeat Millenniummon, then we're probably more powerful than you are."

*He lets go.*

R"That's all I wanted to say. So get lost."

Terriermon:<Thanks for being useless!>

Kylie:<I heard she's gone.>

Taiyo: "Who's gone?"

Eve is still hanging in a Crucified Hero Pose with wires in her while they all act like gomers.

Azuma, Hitomi, and their partners step outside as it gets cramped with the addition of someone who doesn't take up a lot of space.

L<Um...>

*Roatha turns towards them, causing them to jump a bit. He raises an eyebrow.*

R"Right, I almost forgot. I need you to do your sleep song, please."

*Aroma & Lalamon look at each other. Aroma blushes as Lalamon begins the melody to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."*

E"LadyDevimon?"

*Kylie nods*

<I was afraid she'd take one of you and do the same thing she did to me.>

*And so Eve falls asleep*

Taiyo shudders, seeing how Kylie is all cut up and half dressed. The torture room not making her feel any less uneasy.

Taiyo: "Should we go meet up with the others?"

And now they have the pleasure of undressing an unconscious girl to remove wires from her torso. It's like part of a dream come true for Aroma.

Azuma: "What's next? Unless there's anything else left, Millenniummon's the last one to go."

Patamon: "Not that we know where it is. Unless it comes to us like everyone is so keen to do."

OOC: Why is Aroma being singled out?

*Or they could just take the wires out. They don't have to undress her.*

R"I don't know. Leomon kept saying that LadyDevimon would be the least of our worries. That there were stronger Digimon backing her up."

E"Maybe. Are your clothes around here, or do you need to use a blanket?"

*Kylie looks down*

<She burned them...>

Taiyo roots around in her backpack.

Taiyo: "You can borrow my shirt. Although it won't make much of a difference."

Azuma: "Right...I guess. And we don't know the first thing about them."

Removing the wires results in some blood loss, but at least Eve isn't conscious to feel or see it.

R"Eww...are we sure that douche knew what he was talking about when he said this wouldn't be dangerous?"

E"Why not?"

*Cameron takes off his windbreaker and passes it to Kylie*

Cameron:<Thanks Taiyo, but I got this.>

Lunamon:<She can't wear your jacket forever.>

Terriermon:<If this hurts Eve, I'm going to use him as a football.>

Taiyo puts her shirt back in her backpack.

Taiyo: "I guess it doesn't matter anymore."

Azuma: "He never actually said that. And bleeding should be expected. Like pulling glass from skin. Patamon, how are you feeling? Can you Digivolve to Ultimate?"

Patamon: "Yeah, I guess."

And he does that, healing Eve's wounds although it does nothing for the holes in her shirt. Nor wake her up.

R"What a coincidence, I didn't say that Dorugreymon wouldn't eat his head."

*He points to Eve, turning to look at Lalamon in Aroma's arms.*

R"How long does this last, anyway?"

*Lalamon just shrugs her stubby little arms.*
