LadyDevimon shrieks as its heads falls to the the ground. The body explodes into data, scorching the ground, leaving a large outline of a multi-winged angel.

The scythe clatters to the ground and dissolves into data. MetalPhantomon's torso sparks before it dissolves into data.

On File Island, atop Mt. Infinity, the Dark Clown watches LadyDevimon's demise through its telescope.

Piedmon: "And that concludes the first act of this performance."

The chair it sits in lowers to the ground and Piedmon stands up turning to SkullSatamon who stands by looking none too pleased.

Piedmon: "Come along. With the death of the last of your former cohorts, we must prepare for the interlude. The King has been eager to put on a concert and we must lend all the assistance we can."

*Karatenmon flies down to the humans*

<Everyone here alright?>

Lunamon:<We need to find Kylie!>

*She tugs on Cameron's arm*

*Rapidmon runs over to Eve*

Eve:<Dorugreymon...Roatha...Rapidmon...thank you.>

R"Yeah...no problem...but I guess now someone's going to have to go & see if Zarek knows how to fix this."

*Dorugreymon reverts & hangs out around Roatha's legs.*

*WarGrowlmon flies back into the castle & reverts, walking over to Euryale. His shoulders are slumped, his arms dragging, & his ears & eyelids drooped.*

E"Sorry, buddy. I know you don't like to hurt people."

Taiyo: "So now we try to find Kylie."

Angewomon & MagnaAngemon revert to their Rookie forms.

Patamon: "He decided to hang around the front hall with the Gazimon."

*Rapidmon also reverts*

*Roatha turns to Patamon.*

R"Oh, good, sounds like you already know where to look."

E"Oh, yeah! Shit, I hope she's okay. She was alone with LadyDevimon for quite a while."

A"But how are we going to find her?"

*Euryale looks to Renamon, & points to her own nose.*

E"...Can you...y'know...?"

Renamon looks confused and insulted then takes a quick glance at Guilmon who's totally more likely to sniff someone out.

Renamon: "I could try."

Azuma & Hitomi set out with their partners leaving the charming couple to discuss what it feels like to have wires jabbed into you.

*Terriermon hops up to Roatha's shoulder*

Eve:<So...what did I miss?>

*Lunamon looks from Guilmon to Renamon, hope in her eyes*

*Roatha looks at Terriermon like "what the fuck are you doing, stop it," then looks back.*

R"Oh, you know. We rampaged through the castle & killed a bunch of evil Digimon. I don't believe I ever actually saw LadyDevimon."

E"Guilmon has a good sense of smell, but I thought that yours would probably be better, since you're--y'know--a dog?"

*She turns her head partly back, squints, & puts on a nervous grin as she says this.*

Renamon's ear twitches.

Renamon: "Right...I trust someone has something with her scent on it?"

Going through the halls, the castle begins to change. The dark colors transitioning to brighter colors as if the castle is returning to its former state although the images of LadyDevimon on the walls still remain.

The small Gazimon exists a room and looks about at the changing decor.

S Gazimon: "Guess this means LadyDevimon is gone."

Patamon: "It does?"

S Gazimon: "Gah! What do you people want? I already helped those other chumps. What more do you want?"

Salamon: "Some chumps need help."

Hitomi: "Salamon..."

A"Oh, I have her Digivice & D-Terminal."

*Aroma steps forward, offering those to Renamon.*

*She just gave those to Lunamon, so Lunamon gives them to Renamon*

Eve:<Well, I found out where Hitomi and Azuma keep going. Hell.>

Renamon's day gets worse as now she has to bend over. And everything having switched hands many times'll make getting a scent difficult.

Renamon: "I may have something."

She begins heading down the hall in the direction Cameron had come from which also begins to change becoming brighter and more inviting barring the portraits of LadyDevimon.

S Gazimon: "Well, what's there problem now?"

Patamon: "One's hooked to some weird machines in a tower."

The Gazimon shudders.

S Gazimon: "And they're still alive? All the noise coming from you'd think no one would make it."

Salamon: "Can you tell us anything or not?"

S Gazimon: "I didn't go near that weirdo. I don't know anything about that nonsense."

Salamon: "Thanks for nothing."

They continue down the ever changing hall.

R"What?"

E"Great, excellent job!"

*They follow.*

*Cameron and Lunamon run after Renamon*

Renamon enters the throne room which Kylie can see through the looking glass then walks back out and continues down the hall.

Anyone looking at their Digivice can see they're getting closer to Eve & Roatha's signals.

Zarek: "So LadyDevimon was defeated."

Azuma: "I guess. We never saw it. We have a different problem."

Zarek: "And that is?"

Patamon: "Eve's hooked up to some machines and no one knows what to do."

The two Gazimon shudder, knowing what they're talking about.

M Gazimon: "MetalPhantomon was creepier than DarkKnightmon."

L Gazimon: "MetalPhantomon didn't create any monsters in some secret room."

Zarek: "Secret room? Never mind, explain later. Where is she?"

Patamon: "Some laboratory."

Zarek: "Lead the way."

R"Oh, well...you wanna talk about it?"

*He looks to his feet, scratching the back of his head.*

*Kylie smiles at the sight*

They head down another hallway that's taking longer to transition back to its former appearance Renamon opens a door revealing a set of stairs.

Renamon: "I smell blood."

Patamon: "Why's the castle changing colors?"

Zarek: "LadyDevimon's influence is begining to diminish while Bastemon's regains control. It's a long process, but eventually the castle will be how it was before LadyDevimon took over."

A"Oh no, you don't think she's...?"

E"Probably not, or else Renamon would have smelled rot."

A"Eww...."

E"All we can do for now is press on."

*Eve looks away awkwardly*

*Cameron, Biyomon, and Lunamon press on*

They're the first ones to reach the door at the top of the stairs leading to LadyDevimon's chamber of horrors, Kylie still strapped to the St. Andrews Cross where she was left however long ago, the wounds on her arms and face beginning to get scabby.

It's an awkwardly silent walk the way back, no one sure what to say about what. Through a window they pass, the castles exterior still looks as dreary and uninviting as before, the black snow piling up.

*The trio run over to her. Kylie looks at the ground, tears dripping down her face*

Kylie:<I'm so sorry...>

Cameron:<You haven't done anything.>

*They start trying to unhook Kylie*

*He says this while still clinging to Roatha*

Taiyo is most uneasy about all the torture objects spread about the room.

They walk in on what can only be described as Roatha's ear being molested by a rabbit-dog.

Zarek looks about at the machines in all their inoperable glory.
