Episode Eight: Home

*Everyone heads towards the park*

Taiyo: "Would you like to....um....date the two of us?"

Eve's trek is currently uneventful, but the Sorenson's still face the goop.flooding their street from the day before. The goop that seems to be breathing as it begins to pull away the edges of the street and take shape of a pair of Raremon.

*Having no other choice, Biyomon and Lunamon digivolve to Lekismon and Karatenmon respectively. Lekismon uses Tear arrow on one Raremon, while Karatenmon uses feather Flare on the other*

A"...What?"

E"A relationship with more than 2 people. It's called polyamory."

A"Like a harem?"

E"Yes. Well, no. A harem implies one man with a bunch of women fawning all over him. Firstly, we're all girls, & secondly, polyamorists want equal relationships. Well, most of them, anyway."

Taiyo: "There probably will be fawning. So what do you say?"

Renamon doesn't pay a lot of attention to Guilmon's antics and instead stands by as if expecting something to happen.

The arrow passes through the muck that is Raremon which doesn't take to kindly to things being thrown through it and vomits some gross at her.

A similar thing occurs with Karatenmon's attack. The feathers that don't get caught on machinery, seep into its body. It belches a cloud of gas at Karatenmon, spitting up some of the feathers in the process which are mostly eaten away at.

Eve's trip to the park was still uneventful as was her arrival.

Azuma: "Did you hear from anyone else?"

*What happens is that Guilmon spots Renamon, gets up, & runs towards her.*

G<Ren!>

*Aroma scrambles off of the couch & takes a few steps back, slowly.*

A"What do I SAY? What are YOU saying?! I'm not your whore!"

E"Aroma, it isn't like that, I promise."

<Yeah, I think everyone's coming.>

*Both digimon and their partners take cover*

Cameron:<What the hell?!>

*Both digimon attack one Raremon, Karatenmon slashing and Lekismon trying to put it to sleep*

Taiyo: "That's a no then?"

Renamon doesn't pay Guilmon any attention, looking rather disappointed and melancholic.

The Raremon falls asleep. The sword cuts it, but the Raremon's gross just spills over it. It's like fighting a puddle, punching it will just get you wet, but it will stay the same. They need a different strategy.

The other Raremon belches a cloud of gas at them.

Azuma: "Are you sure?"

*Renamon is practically tackled & given a BIIIIIIIIIG HUG!*

*This time, when Aroma goes red, it's probably from anger.*

A"Is that a...I can't believe what I'm hearing!"

*Her voice cracks, & she heads for the door.*

A"Lalamon! We're leaving!"

*Lalamon flies out from parts unknown. Euryale stands up, & Aroma flinches, but the former just heads to where Taiyo is.*

E"I'm sorry. We didn't mean to offend you. Really."

<Yes.>

*Both digimon land near their tamers, Lekismon putting the other Raremon to sleep*

Karatenmon:<There's nothing we can do!>

*Kylie fiddles with her digivice*

Taiyo: "Sorry. I'd hoped you'd have liked us too."

Renamon's expression doesn't change.

Renamon: "Have you ever known how Euryale felt even when you're not with her to see it?"

The Raremon that is wide awake, vomits gross at them.

For whatever reason Lekismon can Digivolve.

Azuma: "If you say so."

*Guilmon looks at her, confused.*

<She's happy. Why wouldn't she be?>

A"I'm not sure I even KNOW you anymore."

*Tearing up, Aroma runs out of the house, followed by Lalamon, who politely shuts the door. Euryale sits on the couch.*

E"I should have known not to be so abrupt. I owe you both an apology."

<Lekismon digivolve to...Crescemon!>

*Crescemon hops out of a glowing sphere of light, shattering it. Both digimon and partners get clear of the poison gas, then Crescemon starts firing arrows at the machinery of the awake Raremon*

*So they stand around awkwardly*

Taiyo: "I shouldn't have gotten so hopeful."

Renamon: "Whatever's going on inside has upset Taiyo."

===================================

Aroma walks a lonely road, the only one that she has ever known. Don't know where it goes, but something or other she walks alone.

Her shadow's the only one that walks beside her, her shadow's heart is the only thing that's beating. Something or other I don't know the words to this song, she walks alone.

The arrows scratch, scrape, or even push the machinery into its body. It makes a noise that's like half roaring and half gurgling before vomiting some gross at them.

Azuma looks at his Digivice.

Azuma: "Aroma's the only one that's moving."

OOC: "But it's home to me...sometimes, I wish someone out there will find me"

*She just wanders aimlessly.*

*Guilmon tilts his head.*

G<What are you going to do about it?>

*Euryale puts an arm around her.*

"Ohh...it'll be okay. You'll see. She just needs time to...sort it all out."

<They could still be getting ready.>

*So they do the same thing again, making sure to steer clear of the poison gas*

Taiyo: "You think so? What if she says no? ....Again. Maybe we should go meet the others. Just to think about something else."

Renamon: "I don't think there's anything I can do about it. I don't know what saddens her and if I did, I may not be able to help."

OOC: That's embarrassing.

A van passes by blaring from a loudspeaker that the concert starts in a two and a half hours.

And because her aimless wandering brings her closer to the park.

It dies just because. The Raremon melts, leaving behind a puddle of gross and machinery all of which fades to black and disappears.

The second Raremon wakes up and belches noxious gas at them.

Azuma: "Doubtful."

E"We could still be friends. But maybe you're right."

*Guilmon steps back. His ears droop & he scratches his head with his foreclaw.*

G<Then what's the point of knowing or being partners?>
=========================
*Aimless wandering.*

*Eve crosses her arms*

<Would you like me to message everyone saying, "Hurry your asses up?">

*And repeat for the second Raremon*

Taiyo: "Hopefully."

And with that Taiyo give Euryale a big ol' hug.

Renamon: "It wasn't my choice that I was partnered with Taiyo. And I have no control over sharing her feelings. If her sadness is because of something I don't understand, what a I supposed to do?"

===================================

Wandering that gets her in the park where she can hear Eve talking about telling people to hurry their asses up.

It too eventually dies in the same manner, the smell still lingering like the feeling of LadyDevimon's lips on Kylie's.

OOC: My analogies are great.

*Aroma turns around & walks right the fuck away. Or shows up half-crying. You know, either way.*

<You don't make sense.>

*Guilmon trots off into the house.*

*The hug is reciprocated. Euryale stands as Guilmon enters.*

E"I was just about to come call you."

G<Thought so. Hmm...is something wrong? Are you sad?>

E"What? What brought this on?"

G<Ren's bein' weird.>

E"You're one to talk."

*She scratches Guilmon behind the ears. He wags his tail.*

*Kylie shivers and they continue on*

*Eve waves to Aroma, then stops abruptly*

<Aroma, what happened?>

Taiyo stands up as Renamon comes in, her look of sadness mixed with confusion.

Taiyo: "What's wrong, Renamon?"

Renamon: "I'm not sure."

Let's say they walked fast and made it to the park to see Aroma half-crying as the three that are there are probably bullying her or something.

E"Hm..."

*She puts her hands on either side of Guilmon's face, making him look her in the eye.*

E"You didn't say anything rude to Renamon, did you?"

G<I don't think so....>

*She wipes her eyes & sniffles.*

A"I don't want to talk about it."

*The Sorensons head over, Lunamon and Kylie going over to give Aroma a hug*

Kylie:<I had a hard morning too...>

Eve:<Well, please tell us if we can do anything.>
