Episode Eight: Home

*Crescemon fires at the Yatagaramon, as she's the only one who can see if the dark*

Eve:<We need to turn the lights back on.>

*I don't know if a cyborg dinosaur can see in the dark, much less a plant & a fictional creature, & it doesn't seem to matter anyway, so everyone just bombs the stage.*

The Jokermon in front of the stage intercept the attacls with their being as expected while the Yatagaramon evade Crescemon's attack and pepper the group with energy blaster.

KingEtemon: "This next one is for the miserable trio in their respective.homes."

In the darkness, the band begins to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] while the Yatagaramon circle overhead.

KingEtemon: "A little less innocence

*Crescemon does her best to protect the humans from the blasts, then firing again, aiming for the eyes. GRapidmon and Karatenmon just keep attacking in the direction of KingEtemon, because they can't do much else*

*They turn on the crowd, slaughtering Jokermon en masse.*

The lights come back on. The Jokermon in front of the stage are mostly gone, members of the audience filling in the holes.

The Yatagaramon get up in their face, clawing the hell out of them and obscuring their view of the stage while those three wreck up the place for no descernible reason.

KingEtemon: "I'd like to dedicate this track to a special little girl in the audience. Not too long ago she went through a very tramuatic experience that I can't even begin to imagine how it affected her.

*Whatever, I don't know, still killing Jokermon.*

*Crescemon attempts to rend the nearest Yatagaramon in two, while Karatenmon attacks another with Feather Flare. Rapidmon targets the third with his homing missiles. Cameron puts his arm around Kylie, who isn't looking too good*

The Yatagaramon Rapidmon Bling is firing at takes off, the missile presumably following it, headingt towards WarGrowlmon who's acting entirely out of character for someone that doesn't like to hurt others.

The Yatagaramon engaging Karatenmon catches its swords with two of its legs and claws at him with its third.

Crescemon's opponent fades to black.

KingEtemon: "For my final dedication, this one goes out to a boy who's been touched by an angel gone Demon Lord."

The band begins to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], a security Jokermon throwing itself at MagnaAngemon who takes after KingEtemon.

The band begins another [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] piece while KingEtemon jumps off the stage smacking Angewomon out of its way while it goes to sucker punch Lillamon whom for someone not keen on fighting suddenly has no qualms with a pointless slaughter.

OOC: You didn't have a problem with them being out of character when they were sitting back listening to themselves being insulted in song for no reason, or letting KingEtemon escape even though they had him surrounded, so don't start now.

*WarGrowlmon turns & presumably destroys both missile & Digimon with an Atomic Blaster. Lilamon flies backwards, pelting KingEtemon's ass with energy spheres. Dorugoramon flies up to the ceiling & prepares to fuck everything in the general direction of down.*

*Karatenmon uses Feather Flare on it. Rapidmon and Crescemon join in on the KingEtemon attack, with Golden Triangle and Darkness arrows respectively*

KingEtemon jumps up, leaving Crescemon & Rapimon Bling's attacks to go towards Lillamon while it goes Flying Grayson's and lands on Toamon, making her eat dirty arena floor.

MagnaAngemon takes a swing at it with Excalibur, KingEtemon catching it most uncomfortably and punching him in the face.

Yatagaramon blasts Karatenmon in the face before it fades to black.

KingEtemon jumps on Angewomon's shoulders and forces her to the dirty arena floor when it jumps off of her to the stage.

Several Jokermon rise from their seats, carrying water pistols as the band begins [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

KingEtemon: "You all know the fucking score
Everybody on the floor
Put your hands where I can see them
We're not playing around
One little moveAnd you're in the ground!"

Microphone in hand, KingEtemon jumps off the stage and on to Taomon again, stomping on her as it sings, the Jokermon surrounding the cast.

KingEtemon: "We live on our own set of rules
Take everything and everyone down with you
We are a desperate kind
But this is a ruthless time."

E"Do you EVER shut up?"

*Lilamon jumps over the attack & continues blasting KingEtemon. WarGrowlmon also fires his Atomic Blaster. Finally, Dorugreymon launches his massive attack to crush the stage & everyone on it.*

*GRapidmon fires his homing missiles at KingWtemon, so he can't escape again. Crescemon fires at the Jokermon, while Karatenmon soars down and uses Feather Flare on the stage*

Taomon reverts to Renamon when the missiles explode on top of her while KingEtemon ducks under the other two attacks.

When the meteor disappears as I'm sure it does, the Etemon are banged up, the stage is pretty haggard and the arena is likely going to go unused for some time while being repaired, but they play on Jokermon not shooting acid from their water pistols at the cast intercepting Karatenmon's attack.

KingEtemon: "When I hit rock bottom
I go looking friends in the filthiest places
Yeah, yeah
I make ends meet cause I'm a bad bad man
When I hit rock bottom, the party has arrived
We won't be taken alive."

KingEtemon picks Renamon up and throws her at Euryale who's likely buried under debris as the battle hasn't moved beyond where they were seated.

KingEtemon: "We live on our own set of rules
Take everything and everyone down with you
We are a desperate kind
But this is a ruthless time."

KingEtemon jumps and grabs hold of one of Karatenmon's wings, dragging him down to the dirty arena floor.

*Dorugreymon keeps firing until the fucking band is dead. Euryale braces herself & catches Renamon, like a boss.*

E"Are you alright?"

*Meanwhile, WarGrowlmon & Lilamon rocket over, punching KingEtemon in the face & shiving him, respectively.*

*Karatenmon stabs KingEtemon in the face, while Crescemon and Rapidmon join in with WarGrowlmon and Lilamon, with missiles and arrows respectively*

Even with the stage no more, the band keeps going.

Renamon: "Yes, thank you."

KingEtemon swings Karatenmon by the wing it's holding on to, smacking Lilamon with him, tearing out a handful of feathers in the process upon releasing him.

MagnaAngemon takes a swing at KingEtemon who grabs him and uses him as a shield from the brunt of the attacks.

KingEtemon: "What if they just shut the lights out
So caught up in your digital world
What happens now?

KingEtemon jumps around, quite sloppily avoiding Angewomon's attacks. It grabs a Jokermon and throws it at Crescemon.

KingEtemon: "You all know the fucking score
Everybody on the floor
Put your hands where I can see them
We're not fucking around
One little move
And you're in the ground."

It throws another Jokermon, sending it towards DoruGreymon, the Jokermon shooting its water pistol of acid at the big lumox, an arrow going through its chest.

KingEtemon: "Liiiights out!"

The arena goes black, the only noise being whatever sounds they're making at the time.

*Crescemon slashes with her scythe to destroy the Jokermon. Karatenmon tries to avoid hurting Lilamon as mush as possible*

<Sorry!>

*GRapidmon lands near Dorugreymon*

*I guess Lilamon gets beaten up. She & WarGrowlmon light up the darkness with weird lilac energy & electric discharge, respectively. WarGrowlmon fires an Atomic Blaster at King Etemon. Dorugreymon dodges aside, stabs the Jokermon with his horns, & resumes attacking the band until it finally dies.*

The whole lot of that doesn't happens as those illuminating the darkness and when the lights come back on they can see they're the only ones in the arena.

Where the stage was is a the bands discarded instruments, KingEtemon's microphone lies on the floor where it died and all over the arena are discarded t-shirts and other merchandice.

At the center of the space where the stage was, a vortex opens much like the one that opened when they first went to the Digital World.

Eve:<Eh, what just happened?>

Cameron:<Um...did we win?>

*The digimon land in the center of the arena*

GRapidmon:<Anticlimactic.>

E"I don't even WANT to know what's going on here."

R"Yeah, fuck this place, let's go."

*So they turn & start leaving. Their Digimon revert & follow. Aroma & Lilamon look around, confused.*

Much like when they first went to the Digital World, they're sucked into the vortex although the temptation to forever omit Roatha is mighty tempting, I will resist the sirens call.

They drift through an array of lights with no end in sight.
