Evil Dead

*Let's say they're in the room to find that it's a pretty basic affair. It lacks windows, has 2 beds with sunken mattresses & worn, brown quilts, & a dresser. Other than that, there's just a door leading off to a bathroom, & another for a closet. Once they're all in, Lilith closes the door.*

E"Not really much to search, is there?"

*Nevertheless, she begins going through dressers. Thiera stares at the beds, arms wrapped tight around herself.*

T"...Someone should check under there."

N"Are you serious?"

*After a glare from Lilith, who opened the closet & shined her light in to find nothing but a bunch of empty hangers, Nero sighs & gets down on all fours, lifting up one of the quilts & looking under the bed.*

Azuma pulls back the sheets on a bed while Mimiru checks the bathroom.

*Guess they help go through dressers*

E"I don't see anything. What am I even looking for?"

L"Cameras, microphones, that sort of thing."

*Lilith checks under the other bed.*

L"I don't think there's anything here."

E"Nothing in this dresser, either."

N"So we blew 40 euros to look for clues that don't exist?"

L"You didn't even pay anything!"

N"Oh yeah. Sucks to be you guys, then."

*Thiera takes a pillow out of its case & shakes them a few times.*

Azuma lifts the mattress while Mimiru is presumably checking other parts of the bathroom. Behind the toilet, in the tank, under the sink, ect.

*Still looking*

Eve:<It was the only lead we had. Lilith, what did Senthose say?>

*The bedside table has a Bible & a small flashlight. The bathroom is surprisingly clean & well-stocked, having only slightly moth-eaten towels & rags, a couple of loofahs, several individually packaged bars of soap, & bottles of shampoo & conditioner. Still no surveillance equipment.*

L"Well, let's find out."

*Lilith sits on the nearest bed. Euryale & Thiera head over to her location, but Nero just kind of stands against the wall with his arms crossed, staring at the door. Also, Taiyo gets a text message.*

*Eve goes to sit by Lilith, while the other two hang out near the bathroom*

Mimiru comes out of the bathroom, grossed out by the possibility those loofah's have been used by dozens of people.

Azuma puts the matress back as there was apparently nothing under it. Not even a corpse.

Eduj stood near the door and looked around the walls for some kind of vent grill.

*There are a couple between the beds, towards the top & bottom of the wall. Azuma hears a sharp whisper of "She's hiding things from you." Meanwhile, Lilithplays the 1st message. The person recording limps through the darkened hallway of the dorms, shining a flashlight around. When he reaches an open door, he heads inside. Shining it around, he sees a pair of beds, the right unmade. As he aims the light on the floor, he sees a slip of paper & bends down to read it.*

You're too late XP

*He whirls around to see the Shadow entering the door frame, the picture becoming fuzzy.*

"Shit!"

*The phone captures wild angles of the floor & beds as he runs to the window. One of the angles shows the door, with the Shadow now missing. When he arrives at the window, the camera angle darts to the roof as he tries to push the window up as quickly as possible. Unable to see the ground from the window & with black pixels now taking up the screen, he tumbles out. The phone hits the side of the building & the video abruptly stops with a flash.*

L"That was Sab & Aroma's room...there's 1 more."

Azuma looks around.

Azuma: "Anyone else hear thar?"

Mimiru: "Hear what, the video? Yeah, we all did."

Eduj listened while going to the lower grill and seeing of he could unscrew it with a key.

Cameron:<So...it got them?>

*Tirea punches his arm*

Eve:<Let's see the last one.>

*Azuma feels almost like his gaze is being pushed towards Taiyo. Meanwhile, Eduj just keeps scraping the grill with that key. Lilith plays the other file, which just abruptly starts playing in a darkened classroom. It sweeps from 1 closed door to the other.*

S"(...I think I lost them. I'm sure you've noticed by now that I am not Noctis. I found her phone--& Mortal's--in their room. There was obviously a big fight there. Furniture knocked over, carpet & bedding shredded...well, I guess I know what that was about.)"

*The video pans down to his leg, which has some kind of tear in his pants.*

S"(I don't know how well you can see, but they got me pretty good. Also on my shoulder & sides. Gabe is also gone. I found hers outside. I didn't find anything of Sab's or Aroma's. It's as though they just...stepped out.)"

Astarte perked up long enough to hear the bad news while Eduj gave up on trying to unscrew the grill and peered into it.

Eve:<It's as we feared....>

*Eve shakes her head and sighs. Tirea puts her arm around Astarte*

Astarte showed no signs of even noticing the contact.

Taiyo: "What is it?"

Azuma: "For some reason I feel compelled to look at you."

Taiyo: "What?"

Azuma: "It's not like that. It's hard to explain. Spooky things."

*Lilith pauses the video due to all of this racket. The grill stares back at Eduj.*

E"I'm glad you think my girlfriend is hot, but this isn't really the time or--"

N"As if you don't know. You're hiding something from us, aren't you?"

*Euryale turns around.*

E"What? What would make you say that?"

N"I don't know...wait, yeah, your phone buzzed, didn't it?!"

*He points to Taiyo. Euryale looks at Taiyo.*

E"Is that true? I didn't--actually, I think I might have heard it, now that I think of it."

Taiyo looks ashamed.

Taiyo: "Yes...."

Eduj sat against the grill and looked up at Taiyo expectantly.

Eve:<And what did the message you presumably received say?>

Taiyo: "I didn't look at it."

*Euryale holds out her hand.*

"Can I look?"
