*So Sunflowmon flies them down there.*

*Kylie and Lunamon biomerge then take to the air. Gargomon regresses then becomes GRapidmon, firing on the artillery while also taking to the air*

Karatenmon:<We are just helping him out.>

Having taken on being a cowardly lion, it doesn't work. Instead it only hurts.

With the Garbagemon destroyed, a trio of Mushroomon flee the house screaming bloody murder. Their screams are cut short by explosions leaving behind smoking craters where they stood.

Azuma: "It's a mine field!"

Taomon regresses to Renamon then she and Taiyo Biomerge. Sakuyamon erects a paling that extends outwards, shielding those within from the artillery fire while detonating any mines present in front of them.

Aroma & co get a nice view of the whole events as they land.

Karatenmon: "Help that should not be needed. As a place holder for.Zhuqiomon, Ornismon should act more like the Sovereign. This forest should have been turned to ash the instant Puppetmon's forces intruded, slaying my brethren. Instead Leomon rescued me."

Its expression softens, anger giving way to sadness.

Karatenmon: "I've been alone ever since."

*Aroma immediately Biomerges again.*

R"Hey, if it's not too much trouble, could you get me to Dorumon?"

E"It's no good, I can't help! But maybe you could Digivolve on your own?"

G<I'll try....>

D<Hey, it's Lilamon! And she has Roatha!>

*So they both try Digivolving to Champion.*

*Karatenmon pats the other Karatenmon on the back*

*GRapidmon flies up and fires on the house again*

Eve:<Roatha!>

Not requiring a Crest to do that, it's successful. As the artillery is destroyed, the steel shutters close on the windows, making attempts at entry more difficult.

Karatenmon backs away, not at all pleased by this act of pity.

Karatenmon: "Empty words from empty heads. Return to Ornismon, I'm certain you were promised something in exchange for your task."

It takes flight, going down the path an away from the mountain.

R"Hey! It's great to be back!"

*Roatha waves & they come over.*

G<Now what do we do?>

E"I...I don't know...."

R"Huh? It's not like you to not have a plan. Besides, couldn't we just force our way through? Dorugreymon alone could probably ram down one of those shutters."

GRapidmon:<I agree, let's knock this shit down!>

*Eve smiles at him*

<I thought...there'd be more to this than one fight.>

*I guess they go back*

Azuma: "The area in front of the house is mined."

Ornismon is still where it was before they left having apparently not moved at all.

R"...So we fly. Obviously. Once Dorugamon & Growlmon Digivolve, we'll be in business."

*So they try to do that.*

*They bow*

Cameron:<We destroyed the attackers, with help from another Karatenmon.>

Nothing happens to Growlmon. No glowing from Euryale's Crest or anything except a feeling of exhaustian.

Sakuyamon: "I can carry you."

Taiyo: Why do I always feel so sad when we're like this?

Renamon: You are feeling the pain the sorrow of every being in this world. From those around you to those you have never met or may never meet.

Ornismon seems disgusted by the mention of the other Karatenmon.

Ornismon: "You accepted aid from a warmonger?"

*Growlmon shakes his head. Euryale looks down.*

E"I'm...sorry I'm so useless."

R"The Hell happened here?"

Cameron:<He just kinda showed up and helped.>

Sakuyamon: "You're not useless. You don't have to beat yourself up over what happened."

Renamon's voice speaks over Taiyo's.

Sakuyamon: "We cannot alter the past Euryale, but we can choose to accept it and let it make us stronger."

Azuma: "When we returned to our world for that moment of time, my brother knew something was up although I never told him what. They were dark times I'd like to forget, but doing so won't do me any good. Despite that he told me something that I guess my father used to tell us when either of us were feeling down. He said 'Never let life kill your spark.'"

Ornismon: "Despite being exiled, they still choose to loom over my domain like a curse bringing nothing but pain and violence to the base.of this mountain and its surroundings."

Ornismon stands up straight and spreads its wings and an ethereal blue glow radiates from its chest as a strange [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] materializes.

Ornismon: "As promised, your reward."

The DigiMemory glows, basking the two in its light revitalizing them before fading away.

Ornismon: "With that you have the ability to achieve the next stage of evolution. Now heed my word, leave my domain and never return while I still live and breathe."

*Euryale is only briefly able to make eye contact with them, before returning to staring at her feet.*

E"Well...I can try, I guess...."

R"No one's going to tell me? Nevermind, we should act as quickly as we can."

Eve:<It's a really long story. I'll fill you in later.>

*They bow*

Cameron:<Uh, thank you.>

*They fuck off towards the others*

Azuma: "I guess we crash through from the air."

There is a large clearing some ways away visible from the air. According to the Digivice that is where the others are.

R"Alright. Look for the weakest spot you can see & attack it. Everyone else will follow your lead."

*He says this as he climbs on Dorugreymon, who takes to the air & does that, charging his ginormous balls of steel.*

E"I--guess you should try to Digivolve one more time."

*She looks to Growlmon, who tries that.*

*They head over there*

*GRapidmon picks up Eve and fires his homing missiles at the weakest location, while Dianamon fires an Arrow of Artemis*

The arrow just sticks into the wall which a missile plain ol' blows up, the explosion being audible enough for Cameron to hear wherever he is from their location.

Meanwhile the Digivolution fails due to lack of courage.

I don't know what DoruGreymon wants to do, but if he wants to poke another hole in the joint, it won't matter much.

*He does anyway, out of spite. Euryale hangs her head.*

E"Looks like you'll be carrying us after all...."

*Still flying over there*

GRapidmon:<That was awesome!>

Hopefully Growlmon degenerated to Guilmon because carrying that asshole will be mad difficult as Sakuyamon picks Euryale up and hoists her on to their shoulder for all the world to see the broken bastard she is.

MagnaAngemon and Angewomon pick their partners up and head for the hole made by Rapidmon Bling.

Cameron can see the house and the smoking battlefield around it as people enter it looking for confrontation.

*Seeing as no one told him to degenerate, no. Dorugreymon follows. Whenever Sakuyamon starts moving, Euryale ends up falling off.*

<"I've got you!">

*Rosemon catches the falling Euryale, then blushes & shifts to hold her in a less compromising grip.*
