JewelBeemon 3: "The one partnered with the decendant of AncientTrojamon is with our lord. The other one is not within this domain. They are either within Puppetmon's domain or Ornismon's."

JewelBeemon 2: "If it is food you seek, then we should move."

TyrantKabuterimon: "It takes the form of a common tree, blending in with the surroundings to move between the three domains of this world's current form. It will make itself known to you if it believes your mind is vulnerable."

E"What the fuck are you talking about? Can't you just speak plain English?"

A"How do you make it think that?"

*She glances at the ground.*

A"Also, what if it is?"

*Terriermon starts pretending to be a zombie and grabs Dorumon*

<FOOOD!>

Azuma: "Aroma is with TyrantKabuterimon, Roatha isn't around here."

JewelBeemon 3: "That is what I said in fewer words."

Taiyo: "What about helping us? Is Aroma okay?"

JewelBeemon 2: "Aye, the Child of Purity has not been harmed and while she remains within these borders no harm will come to her."

JewelBeemon: "Now then, let's move. Take care to stay close. Some of the more primal denizens may not be so friendly as to only shriek at you."

The second and third JewelBeemon jump into the trees and can be heard moving away while the one that remains heads into the surrounding foliage, clearing a path for them to follow.

JewelBeemon: "Also take caution around the trees. The Lord of the Deep Forest may be present in this domain. Steel your mind and resist its temptations."

TyrantKabuterimon: "Then I would have made a mistake in electing you for this task."

AncientBeetlemon returns with some kind of package made from a big leaf.

AncientBeetlemon: "The scouting party has made contact with most of the other Chosen Children and are attempting to lead them to sanctuary. It would also seem the Child of Hope is an arachniphobe."

"Oh...that's good. I'm glad for them."

*Her hollow tone reflects her deflated demeanor & misty eyes.*

*Same here, although Terriermon is hanging on to Dorumon and Eve is covering her face in shame*

It's not long before the forest begins to thin out and the other two JewelBeemon rejoin them on the ground.

JewelBeemon 3: "The Knight's hidaway is up ahead. Puppetmon's control is expanding."

Taiyo: "What does that mean?"

JewelBeemon 1: "We'll have to be more careful as we travel."

AncientBeetlemon: "Don't scare her, TyrantKabuterimon."

In the glow of the DigiMemory, TyrantKabuterimon can be seen bowing towards AncientBeetlemon.

TyrantKabuterimon: "My apogies, Ancient One. And my apologies to you, Chosen Child."

"It's, uh, okay. Thank you. Both of you."

*She wipes her eyes.*

Eve:<How is his control expanding?>

JewelBeemon 3: "The Knight's hidaway was not apart of this domain, but Puppetmon's. We've been trying to keep its forces at bay, but....there's only so much we can do compared to their forces."

A cave appears, Spadamon standing outside sword in hand.

Spadamon: "We're now apart of your domain? And you're missing another."

JewelBeemon 2: "We come seeking refuge for the Chosen Children. Would Sai UlForceVeedramon accept them in its home until they've rested?"

Spadamon shrugs.

Spadamon: "I'll go ask."

And so Spadamon goes and does that.

*Euryale nudges Taiyo & points at the kitties. Dorumon bodyslams Terriermon.*

A"I don't know where that is."

*She turns Lalamon around.*

A"How good is your sense of smell?"

L<I'm not sure if I even have a nose.>

*She pokes the center of her face.*

*Terriermon flies off but gets back up jumps up on Eve's shoulder. Lunamon goes over to the kitties*

Lunamon:<Hi!>

Taiyo: "Oo...huh? That one kind of looks like Lunamon."

The cats just look at Lunamon is the same indifferent manner cats look at most things before Spadamon comes back out.

Spadamon: "UlForceVeedramon says sure, so long as there isn't a lot of you. Although between us, it doesn't have much of a way of knowing."

Taiyo: "How comes there are cats here?"

Spadamon: "Lunamon & Caronamon? They were supposed to be future squires of UlForceVeedramon's, but something came up, and I ended up being the only one to not be stuck like that."

Azuma: "Something came up?"

Spadamon: "Baromon hasn't been around for awhile, probably dead. And UlForceVeedramon could tell you the rest."

TyrantKabuterimon: "A realm composed of pieces of File Island's forests and trees that bear cogs and gears as if they were leaves."

A"So, you don't know a direction?"

E"What do you mean he wouldn't know if there's a lot of us?"

Lunamon:<What happened to them?>

Azuma: "They're blind."

Spadamon: "Three potential squires were chosen and....I don't really recall. My time in that form is kind of a blur. Anywho, you should probably come inside."

And so Spadamon and the kitties go inside.

TyrantKabuterimon: "Its domain used to be between my own and Ornismon's, but our own territory shrinks while Puppetmon's grows. We could be in the heart of it as we speak."

E"Wait, the cats are blind? Then why were they looking at us?"

*Presumably follow.*

A"Uh, okay. Which way is--or was--Ornismon's territory?"

They are really bad at giving directions.

Lunamon:<That doesn't explain why they are cats.>

Azuma: "UlForceVeedramon is blind as Ogremon said."

Spadamon: "I don't know."

Inside the cave, sitting at the very back, looking at nothing in particular ('cause they're blind) is UlForceVeedramon.

Spadamon: "Sir UlForceVeedramon, I have brought the Chosen Children, the JewelBeemon escorted here."

UlForceVeedramon: "Aye thank you, Spadamon. I welcome you all, it has been too long since the Digital World has been without a great hero."

TyrantKabuterimon: "Ornismon follows the Sovereign Zhuqiaomon, the Vermilion Bird. To reach its domain, one must pass through Puppetmon's. Ornismon has no place in the conflict making it irrelevent to the situation and task."

E"Why did you say, 'they'?"

*Lalamon digs out Aroma's Digivice & checks to see if it has a compass.*

Azuma: "Refering to someone who is gender neurtral isn't easy to do in English, the language of the powers that be."

Salamon: "So why are you hiding in some cave? Aren't you a Royal Knight?"

Hitomi: "Salamon."

UlForceVeedramon: "Those days are long behind me. Only two members remain and neither of us are fit to rebuild the Order."

Taiyo: "There's a BlackWarGreymon that was apart of the Order. Before becoming....black."

UlForceVeedramon: "When Omnimon did not return from battle, we had assumed both components were destroyed. If that was not the case why did they not return?"

Salamon: "Something about no longer being fit to be apart of it. Tried giving some trinket it wore to Euryale, but she left it in the sand where it's probably lost or destroyed by now."

UlForceVeedramon: "WarGreymon gave you the Crest of Courage?"

Salamon: "Attempted to."

A compass is probably something the Digivice should have, but instead it only has the maps that few people remember. Roatha's signal is quite close, but how long that will be is anyone's guess.

AncientBeetlemon: "Before you depart, take this with you."

AncientBeetlemon offers up the parcel it has been holding.

D<That's really confusing, when did we start referring to each other as "they"? That's not any better than "he," "she," or "it." No wonder I left this world.>

*Guilmon digs in Euryale's pocket & takes out the Crest of Courage.*

E"...Did you all really not notice that he picked it up?"
