Dual World Daybreak

*Everyone looks from Azuma to Datamon, very confused*

Data<In any case, you have full use of the facilities for as long as you choose to stay here.>

*Datamon turns & scuttles back into the temple, laying a flower at the foot of the statue as he does so.*

With any luck Euryale will receive Taiyo's psychic messages about doing just that while I'm sure everyone else is probably thinking 'Meh.'

Lyra:<So...what now?>

*Gomamon raises his flipper as Thiera stares up at the statue & Euryale just shrugs.*

G<I'd like to go for a swim!>

Th"I am fine here."

E"We haven't been here for very long, but if we're done already, it'd be nice to catch up with the Leomon."

Taiyo: "Coming here wasn't a good idea?"

Lyra:<I don't think it was a bad idea, we just have a lot of places to visit.>

G<I guess I can just swim alongside the ship, then.>

*As no objections to leaving were given, Thiera heads back to the ship, followed by Tsune & Gomamon. Euryale, presumably still having Taiyo clinging to her in some capacity, waits for her.*

Th"Can you tell us where the Leomon Corps are, Captain?"

*As Thiera & Tsune climb aboard, Gomamon diving into the river, Mermaimon grabs a conch shell sitting on a nearby table & speaks into it as if it were a phone.*

Captain<Ebemon, check on the position of the Leomon Corps.>

*After a pause, she turns to them.*

Captain<IceLeomon is trying to negotiate between the Chessmon Empires. BanchoLeomon is trying to help the Sovereign rebuild the Celestial Realm. Regulumon is doing something in the Chaos Area, in the ruins of Myotsimon Manor.>

Lyra:<I vote we go see Regulumon. The Chaos Area should be interesting.>

Kylie:<Oh, maybe we'll see Plutomon! He's much nicer than Jupitermon.>

*Taiyo moves.*

Azuma: "Doesn't really sound like a tourist attraction, but neither do some of the place back home, so whatever."

E"Sounds good. We can save some of the nicer spots for later."

Captain<Better prepare for a long trip. We could be on the high seas for up to an hour before we find a cave leading to the River Styx.>

*Once everyone is aboard, they sail into their magic fog again. Euryale heads to a railing to watch the open ocean with Taiyo, Tsune watching over Gomamon as he swims nearby, & after several minutes they sail past a group of mountains jutting out of the sea, with gears embedded in the sides.*

E"...Did the Gotsumon ever come back here?"

*She looks over her shoulder to Captain Mermaimon, who shakes her head. Thiera loiters near the map, trying to stay out of the way of the other Mermaimon as they slither across the deck, manning the ropes that control the sails.*

*Lyra and Kotemon finds a place to stand where they will be exposed to the sea breeze, while the Sorensons and their partners find a place to sit where they will be out of the way*

Not really anything to say about something that dreary. And those that weren't eliminated hurled themselves into the sea, so they kind of lost either way.

*Euryale frowns as they eventually drift into a cave, the Mermaimon lighting lanterns all around the ship so they can see their way. It's questionable how necessary this is, given that the sparse forests & expansive networks of caverns marked by snake skulls are faintly illuminated by something running parallel to them. It appears to be a bubbling river of flaming lava, plumes of fire occasionally shooting out in jets & arcs, splattering the deck with embers.*

E"What's that?"

Captain<It's the Phlegethon, the River of Fire that leads to what was once Myotismon's domain.>

*She points to a mountain with broken pillars of stone, vaguely recognizable as having once been a castle.*

Captain<We will bring you as close as we can, but the Styx curves away from it in a few more miles. After that, you will have to follow the Phlegethon in order to reach your destination. But you should have safe travels. Probably.>

Azuma: "That's reassuring."

Cameron:<Myotismon, huh? That's a name I haven't heard in a while.>

*Biyomon stares at the ground, looking slightly upset*

Ts"And good riddance."

E"What Tsune said. We defeated the worst of the evil Digimon here, right?"

Captain<Yeah, but you never know what will come out of the depths next.>

*A dinosaur walks up to a bird.*

A<Hey, what's wrong?>

Biyomon:<...I don't like thinking about the fight with Senthose. That was when I dark digivolved...>

And it was super lame at that. Not as lame as whoever thought going into the dark places was a good idea.

OOC: Actually make an effort to add something to the posting cycle.

A<I've been there. I don't remember much of it, though.>

*Euryale stares guiltily at her distorted, gloomy gray reflection.*

Captain<Unwanted memories have a tendency to collect down here. Trim the sails & prepare to drop anchor! Styx turns dead ahead!>

Biyomon:<Neither do I...>

*He looks away into the water. Meanwhile, Cameron digs his nails into his hands*

Taiyo steps in front of Euryale and hugs, taking her focus away from the water.

A<Well then, what you don't know can't hurt you, right?>

*Euryale returns the hug tightly, chin on Taiyo's shoulder. Thiera looks over to Cameron.*

Th"You should remember that you are not the only one who has made mistakes."

*Meanwhile, the ship slows & the anchor splashes down at the bend in the river, disturbing a bunch of Gesomon that spray ink as they disperse while Numemon climb up on the rocks at the bank. Not feeling comfortable in these waters, Gomamon climbs the anchor chain, Tsune's revolted face echoing his sentiments.*

*Cameron looks away, face red*

Cameron:<That doesn't make accepting my own any easier...>

*Kylie pats him on the back*

Biyomon:<I guess. Thank you, Agumon.>

Azuma: "This is actually an improvement."
