G<The lagoon looks great for a swim, let's go with him!>

*Tsune looks down into Gomamon's puppy dog eyes. Having nothing better to do, she shrugs & heads back. IceLeomon smiles at Cameron.*

Ice<I'm afraid you don't really have the standing.>

Patamon flies off with them because treats.

Azuma: "Pretty sure it's more complicated than that."

Cameron:<Well then who does?>

IL<The Kings & Queens of the Chessmon Empires. I am but a humble mediator, armed only with the powers they conceded to me.>

Th"Then how do you have the authority to order their troops?"

IL<I am very persuasive.>

E"We don't really have the time for that anyway. We have other jobs. Most of the time I spend not in therapy or patrolling for Wild Ones I need to help my parents."

*While Tsune stops at the lagoon to let Gomamon in for a swim, Agumon practically bowls over a Mermaimon as he begins scrounging through the barrels & crates.*

Captain<HEY! What in the Dark Area do you think you're doing, cabin girl!?>

A<Oh, right! Requesting permission for treats, Captain!>

*He does an abrupt about-face, locking his legs together & saluting. The Captain tilts her head, looking confused.*

Patamon's appendages keep him from doing any of that stuff, so he lands on Agumon's head.

Patamon: "We heard there were treats here."

Biyomon:<Perhaps we can speak with Hypnos about working on this situation as a side project.>

*Cameron shrugs*

Cameron:<Yeah, that could work...>

Mermaimon<I'm not running a charity boat, if you want treats, get to cleaning the cannons!>

*She points to a bucket of water, rag, & cannon brush. Agumon groans & starts swabbing inside the barrel.*

A<The sacrifices I make for Yuri....>

IL<What has been going on in the human world of late?>

Azuma: "Human stuff."

Patamon groans and I suppose gets to working on the outside of a cannon.

Cameron:<Trials for Kurata's minions.>

E"Oh, that's right! I forgot to tell Regulumon, but I have some news. I'll explain later."

Ice<I see. And how are the trials going?>

Th"Not as well as we would hope. When Huanglongmon imploded, he took most of the evidence with him. We also don't know how many of the mercenaries were left, or how many fled Japan. Much like Senthose's ghost said, even if we're rid of Sekhmet, there will be others just like them."

Captain<There are 19 more cannons on this ship, what do you think?>

*Agumon groans & moves on to the next cannon.*

Captain<And they better be clean enough to eat off of!>

*Meanwhile, Gomamon watches them from below, splashing around as Tsune plays on her phone at the bank of the lagoon.*

Kylie:<Don't worry, justice will be served in the end...>

*She doesn't sound very sure of this fact*

Azuma: "Depends on how you define justice."

E"I don't know where to find justice, but I do have hope."

Ice<As do I.>

Th"Well, it has moved us this far."

*Bastemon yawns & stretches in a rather human-like manner, but paws the ground & curls up like a cat, because they are boring her.*

*Gomamon sighs & spits up a bunch of fish that start eating the dirt from the cannons.*

As Bastemon has been a jerk, Taiyo can't even be in awe over her actions.

*Agumon looks at the Captain, who nods approvingly. He then begins digging into crates of goods, grabbing up pastries, oranges, & catnip.*

Captain<Whoa, who said you can take that much?>

A<Some of it's for Taiyo, Euryale, & Bastemon.>

Captain<That's not how we do things, cabin girl! If you want your superiors to have some, it comes out of your share, and the cat can't have any.>

A<But that's the whole reason we did all of this!>

*She grins maliciously.*

Captain<Well...I suppose I could be swayed to allow it...if you make her take a bath first. In actual water.>

E"Well, while we wait for Agu & them to come back...you wanna hear about my new sister?"

Azuma: "Congratulations."

There's probably some more congratulations all around, but it's not authentic due to missing a penguin getting in on it.

Kylie:<Congrats!>

*The others echo her sentiment*

E"Thanks! She's about 3 months old by now, & I'm looking forward to the day she can start playing with Digimon. Unfortunately, she thinks Agumon look scary."

A<Which is discrimination!>

*He eventually waddles back onto the scene with a cake he's eating, some catnip, & a single orange. Bastemon perks up.*

A<Ah, they said you couldn't have any unless you had a bath. With actual water.>

*Bastemon's ears flatten & she looks overall horrified.*

Th"You had better decide fast, because I believe we are leaving shortly."

Lunamon:<We should bring her home a baby digimon to play with!>

Patamon: "Maybe if you weren't scary."

I don't know how Patamon is holding anything, but he is. He's happy. And Agumon's scary.

Azuma: "You would an still do scare the neighbor cats."

Patamon: "I'm keeping them from shedding on everything."

A<Of course, I scare the villains away!>

*As he's telling Patamon what's what, he passes the orange to Taiyo.*

E"I don't think that would be wise. She can find her own partner when she's older, I'm sure."

*Thiera bows to IceLeomon, who inclines his head back.*

Th"It was nice to see you again."

Taiyo: "Thank you."

Taiyo gleefully accepts the orange.

Lunamon:<Oh...>

*Lunamon's ears droop slightly. All four of them*

Lyra:<Good to see you.>

*She nods, Cameron and Biyomon expressing similar sentiments*
