Dual World Daybreak

*When Thiera nods, Euryale helps Taiyo gently off of her lap, before standing & hugging Hitzuma, patting them on the backs.*

*Lunamon springs off Kylie's lap, grabbing and hugging Euryale's neck*

Lunamon:<I wanna get in on the huggin' too!>

*Kylie grins, Lyra looking slightly less grim*

Azuma: "Uh, thanks?"

Azuma weakly hugs her back, a weak pat on the back like he has no idea what to do in this situation as he probably never expected Euryale to even tolerate him let alone hug him.

Meanwhile Hitomi is motionless and actually gets pretty stiff as she is not nearly as open about physical contact with most people.

*Euryale soon disengages, smiling at them.*

E"Onward to Hypnos, then?"

Lunamon:<Onward to victory!>

*Presumably, they head out*

I reckon they put their glasses in the sink before heading out rather than leaving dishes lying around like awful house guests and without nearly as much zeal as Lunamon like holy bunkers, there is no need for that much excitement.

*When they get into the Hypnos building, Euryale flashes an ID to the receptionist, saying the others are with her, & then it's off to the basement to see Yamaki, Riley, & Tally in the fancy computer room. Yamaki turns when he hears them come down the stairs.*

E"Hello, Mr. Yamaki. We're planning to go into the Digital World today."

Yamaki<Of course. But those of you who don't work here will have to obtain visitors' clearance from Riley & Tally.>

*Meanwhile, Calamon comes flying out from some far-flung dark corner & latches on Hitomi's face, giggling. From whence he came, an Impmon leans against the wall, his arms behind the back of his head. Euryale squints at him curiously as he speaks.*

Impmon<Calamon wanted to see youz guyz. I thought you might come here, so I brought 'im. I didn't care, but everyone else was busy.>

E"...I'm...very sorry, but...have we met before...?"

Hitomi peels Calamon off her face and while she looks happy to see him, Salamon does not. Because somebody's jealous.

Hitomi: "Hello."

Azuma: "You traded in the leathers for an Ontario accent?"

OOC: I love how the Japanese guy knows what an Ontario accent sounds like.

Kylie:<Hi Calamon! How are you?>

*She looks over at Impmon*

Kylie:<You're Beelzemon, right? It's nice to see you too!>

*Impmon points dramatically at Euryale, balling his other fist.*

<Everyone else recognized me! Even this chucklehead!>

*He jerks his thumb to Azuma.*

E"I said I was sorry!"

Cala<Hiya! Don't worry about Impmon, he's always a grumpy old sourpuss.>

*Calamon dons an exaggerated sad face & pulls his lower eyelids & frown down to increase the effect, sticking out his tongue & blowing raspberries as he speaks.*

Calamon<I'm Impmon--phbbt--I hate everything, phbbt! Look at my scarf--phbbt--isn't it so cool, phbbt?>

Impmon<Don't make me toast ya, ya overgrown marshmallow!>

*Meanwhile, Tsune just sidles along to Riley & Tally, who lower their terminal closer to the floor. A sheet of paper starts printing out of Tally's computer, & she rips it off & hands it to Tsune.*

Tally<Make sure you get that stamped by the portal operator both before you enter & after you exit.>

*Lunamon starts joining in with Calamon, careful to stay out of Impmon's reach*

No one else indulges in such antics as they're not children or in Salamon's case is just being a Ms. Grumpy Gills.

OOC: Hitomi says she wants to play with Calamon. Doesn't.

*As they cannot proceed until everyone who doesn't work at Hypnos gets their ticket & everyone else stops playing with the marshmallow, Euryale, Thiera, & Tsune wait by the door.*

*Cameron, Kylie, and Lyra go to join the others, their partners beside them, barring Lunamon*

Much to Salamon's dismay, Hitomi doesn't try to send Calamon off when she joins with the others.

E"Oh yeah!"

*Euryale withdraws the packages, handing them to Riley & Tally.*

E"Would it be possible for you to make sure Hideki & Monodramon get these?"

Riley<If we can, we'll certainly do it.>

E"Great, thanks. So are Calamon & Impmon coming with us?"

*Impmon goes back to the casual pose he was in when they first got here.*

Impmon<Naw, you go on ahead, this is more a day for the new guard. I'll catch up with ya when ya get back. If I feel like it.>

Azuma: "Then we'll see you when we get back."

*Lunamon waves goodbye to Impmon*

Lunamon:<Bye!>

*Impmon gives a jaunty wave.*

Calamon<Alright, we'll play when we get back!>

*His ears grow & he flies off, giggling & leading them down the hall. They pass by an area with transparent walls that show injured rookie Digimon being examined &treated with shower-like objects that spray data, others training in a kind of gym, & a sort of nursery for infant Digimon that Calamon enters, making funny faces at the Digi-Babies. All throughout are desks with computers, one of which has Thiera's name on it. After this, they enter the portal chamber, which is basically the same as when it was first built. After checking their respective permissions, the technician activates the Space Oscillation Portal, which opens up onto docks facing the sea.*

*When it is time, they all enter through the portal*

Hitomi follows after Calamon, Salamon following after her possibly afraid Calamon will make Hitomi into a heretic or something.

Taiyo: "Can we get a Calamon too?"

E"I'm pretty sure he's one of a kind, Taiy."

*Euryale puts an arm around her girlfriend & smiles as they walk through the portal, arriving out of a similar structure absurdly placed on the wooden docks. An Ebemon mans a computer terminal attached to it, with wires indicated that it is somehow powered by the water.*

Cap<Ahoy, mateys! Look sharp!>

*Captain Mermaimon waves at them from the ship nearby, now looking much more piratey as her right eye is covered by a patch, with a faint scar indicating what happened to it. This is matched by scars & burns criss-crossing the rest of her body, & chunks missing from her hat & the end of her tail.*

Taiyo looks none too pleased at the sight of the Mermaimon. Also she's disappointed that she doesn't get a Calamon of her own.

Azuma: "Does that make us lucky?"

Patamon: "I think it makes Hitomi lucky."

*Everyone waves at the captain*

Cameron:<It's good to see you again, Captain.>

*Euryale mumbles something that sounds like "whipped my girlfriend," at which point the Mermaimon puts a hand to her ear.*

Captain<I'm sorry? I didn't catch that.>

E"I said we want to set sail and see the sights!"

Captain<Of course! But remember to speak up, cabin girl!>

E"Sure thing!"

*Euryale's eye twitches & her teeth grind as she smiles overly wide.*

Captain<Oh, deck hand Taiyo, is something the matter?>

E"She's just a little sea sick!"

Captain<Ha! I never took you for such a land-lubber! That human world is making you too soft, better eat some oranges & buckle on.>
