The War of Paradigm City

*Leviathan nullifies the blast with its energy claws & starts pushing against it. Lilith's Megadeus arms a missile.*

Since its claws were busy dealing with Basilisk's blast, Mirror Zero sped behind Leviathan and cocked back its sword and stabbed at the weak spot on its neck.

*Kanrei Tsuki aims and fires at the Leviathan's neck.*

*The armor casing breaks off, exposing the circuitry below, but the Leviathan's tail drills into Mirror Zero's cockpit like a...drill. Of course, being glass, it shatters easily, narrowly missing Zell as it destroys the controls. While doing this, it reaches out for Basilisk's neck.*

*Kanrei Tsuki now fires at the circuitry.*

Zell, being in a now non functioning megadeus exits the cockpit, and tries to get to a safe area away from the fighting.

*Leviathan is blown back by a fucking missile, falling into the hole that it created. It writhes, trying to get up & climb back out. Basilisk follows it, drilling into its stomach area. Lilith then hops out of her own Megadeus, landing beside Zell.*

*Kanrei Tsuki follows the two. Down in the hole is resumes firing at Leviathan's exposed neck.*

"It seems we've done it again. We should probably get out of here before Paradigm finds us."

*Kanrei Tsuki can't get a good shot. Basilisk slithers down a side tunnel as the Leviathan rights itself & follows after.*

L"We must destroy the Megadeus."

"How do you propose we do something like that?"

*Kanrei Tsuki begins pursuing the Leviathan.*

L"With any means necessary."

*When it catches up, Leviathan turns around to attack Kanrei, lunging forward to grab its gun arm. As it turns, it collapses part of the tunnel on Basilisk, who writhes around, trying to get free.*

"What means would work best right now?"

*Kanrei Tsuki (you say the whole thing!) pulls back, opening its machine gun ports and firing.*

*It swings its tail to Tsuki's back, guarding its stomach area & surging forward, activating its claws.*

L"My Megadeus has lost its arms. Yours has lost its controls. Perhaps if we inserted my Memory Circuits, you could move it once more."

Zell looked at Lilith remember Thiera's words, "We can't, Thiera said doing something like that would be dangerous. I don't want to put you in danger anymore."

*Kanrei Tsuki drops its rifle and draws its knives, the barrier activating. The Megadeus steps forward slashing at the Leviathan's neck.*

L"It is only dangerous if the computer has very strong protection against external threats. A Megadeus never targets an android."

*Leviathan screeches, jerking around, sparks coming from its neck. It plows into the wall, collapsing it into sand & trying to get away.*

[Seven... Six... Five...]

*Kanrei Tsuki pounces on the Leviathan stabbing into its neck with both knives and twists them around.*

"Are... are you sure?" Zell asked, "I don't want to hurt you."

*Topaz wipes her tears after sitting there crying for quite a while, glances at her brother and the Adramelech one last time, and wanders off aimlessly.*

[Luna...]

*Leviathan squirms, then stops moving. The claws also power down.*

L"Positive. But the target has been incapacitated."

Zell fidgets a bit then relents, "Fine, let us be quick about though. I still don't like this idea."

*The timer turns over indicating the barrier is recharging. Kanrei Tsuki rips the knives out of the Levaithan's neck and stands up, returning them to their compartments. The Megadeus backs away and collects its rifle.*
