*Gelu Chalybs turns around and fires a wrist mounted machine gun at the tanks.*

*After he destroys the tanks, the Paradigm Dome opens once more...only this time, out flies Big Duo.*

"A crazy homeless man tried to kill me just now. That was... something," Zell pointed to the blood on her sweater as proof, "Luckily the blood isn't mine."

T"A crazy homeless man? Interesting...did he say anything about his motives?"

*She walks over to the bushes to see who's throwing the firsbees.*

"Do the ducks return after migrating?"

*Cannon armed, Gelu Chalybs takes aim at Big Duo.*

"If he did I did not have the wits to listen, I was too busy trying not to get stabbed."

*Roatha laughs.*

<You read too many books. Ducks haven't migrated in 40 years. They wouldn't be able to survive the trip over the desert. The few animals in the city proper just retreat to the Domes, or die if they can't get in.>

*Big Duo keeps flying around. As it does, it turns its head towards Gelu & fires purple lasers out of its eyes.*

T"Well, if you're okay, we have a crisis to attend to. Started by one of Vera's former goons, of course."

*She shrugs and sighs before continuing to look for a way into the dome.*

"Oh. And the fish? Is there somewhere in the pond leading to a different water source?"

*Gelu Chalybs backs up, disarming its cannon and fires its assault rifle at Big Duo.*

*Naturally, Big Duo proves rather difficult to hit, but has no problem readjusting the aim of its eye beams.*

*When she turns around, a frisbee hits her in the back of the head.*

Zell nodded, "Certainly, lead the way." She spat out some lingering blood, before looking back at the duo, waiting for one to move.

Topaz: <Stop with the fucking frisbees!>

*She shouts a little louder than she would've liked to.*

*...And gets a frisbee to the teeth.*

T"There's probably a tunnel entrance around here somewhere. We should go underground, to avoid the mess that idiot is causing."

L"What makes you so certain of that? I never found anything on the data we lifted from the Paradigm Computers."

T"Well, he built the city, didn't he? He must have SOME connection to all of the strange things that occur within its limits."

"Do you know where he would actually put a tunnel?" Zell asked.

T"Hmm...where did you find Metropolis?"

"In a cabin," She said, "Just out of this tomato field."

*Hitomi waits for Roatha to answer her question. Unless a question about fish is too hard to answer.*

"Is there somewhere in the pond leading to a different water source? Or do they lay their eggs somewhere in the pond and die come winter?"
