*Once they get into the shack, Thiera points at the book shelf & Lilith shoves it out of the way with one hand. It looks like someone took a hatchet to the wall behind it. The boards are broken in half, splintered segments lying about. Behind the hole, a metal stairwell stretches down into parts unknown.*

OOC: She's making conversation, ensuring some jag off isn't in danger. The hell does she care about the topic at hand? So long as it's not about ducks. Fuck ducks.

"Okay..."

*Having run out of things to say, Hitomi just stands there. Maybe he'll say something or it'll just be incredibly awkward. More so than it already is.*

*Gelu Chalybs rolls back, firing at the missiles warheads.*

"By all means, lets go down the scary, metal staircase."

T"What are the odds that something is down there?"

Barbatos<Quite high, actually.>

*After she says this, they begin hearing footsteps clanging down the staircase. Lilith immediately starts running after her, & disappears into the darkness.*

T"Wait! We don't even know if she's...Lilith can't hear me anymore, can she?"

*Big Duo swoops through the explosion, passing dangerously close to Gelu Chalybs, its propeller-hands lashing at the Megadeus & the rocket exhaust from its elbows baking its armor.*

"Okay."

*She up and leaves.*

*Gelu Chalybs takes the opportunity to book it in the opposite direction.*

Zell chased after Lilith.

*Zell trips. Fortunately, she tripped near the bottom of the stairs, & just gets the wind knocked out of her. Thiera begins running down the staircase, shining a flashlight down there. As the beam bounces around, Zell catches glimpses of Lilith swinging around a metal pipe. At one point, she makes direct contact with Barbatos's head. Barbatos just grins & palms a visibly shocked Lilith in the chest, who crashes into the opposite wall.*

*Of course, it isn't too long before Big Duo has turned around & is flying after Gelu again.*

Zell gets up and tries to get her bearings. After seeing the woman send the android halfway across the room with a single palm, she decides that perhaps a direct tackle, and throat bite will get her nowhere.

*Thiera reaches the bottom of the staircase.*

L"You are not human."

*Barbatos kicks her in the chest, causing the wall behind her to crack.*

<DON'T try to put me on the same level as YOU.>

"So, what are you then? An android; a cyborg?"

*At being called an android, Barbatos whips her head in Zell's direction & growls at her before charging like some kind of triceratops or something.*

OOC: STAR WARS LOGIC!

Zell fucking runs up the stairs, figuring it'd be hard to ram someone when they have the high ground.

*Barbatos, having legs, begins to climb the stairs until Lilith gets behind her & puts her in a choke hold with that pipe.*

Zell isn't sure how to help out, so she just kind of stands there, not knowing what to do.

*Hitomi goes home as she has a library to go the next day.*

*Gelu Chalybs continues attempting to flee, firing at Big Duo.*

*Machinegun ports open up on the Megadeus's torso & fire at him. Hitomi steps out of the dome to witness this mess.*

*Barbatos grabs Lilith's arms & flips her over. Lilith tries to land softly, grabbing the walls to slow her descent, but it's still 500 pounds of android falling on Zell. Meanwhile, a loud "ping" sounds & flecks of rock fly off of the wall. Barbatos turns around to face downstairs.*

<Did you just try to shoot my kneecap out?!>

T"My only regret is that it didn't work."

{Even if I sell out a few other pilots who are probably conspiring against you?}

*Hitomi continues on her way, making sure to not get directly in the area where the fight is taking place.*

Zell does her best to scramble up the steps and avoid being killed by 500lbs of flying android.

*It adds a blast of eye lasers to the mix, aiming for Gelu's arm.*

*Thiera keeps shooting at Barbatos as the latter runs down the stairs.*

Assuming Zell isn't dead under Lilith, she hops over the android and tries to push Barbatos down the stairs hoping that might somehow hurt her more than a bullet.

*Gelu Chalybs turns and goes left, presumably wrecking shit, attempting to make its way out of the city.*

*Rather than going home, Hitomi goes to the hangar not really expecting to find Kanrei Tsuki there.*

*Barbatos stands her ground & whips around. Lilith manages to find her legs & stick that pipe she loves so much in between them. Barbatos's claws dig thin groves on it as they're deflected away from Zell's stomach. Barbatos herself has a few drips of blood on her forehead, but the bullets don't seem to be doing much.*

T"Just how much of you is metal?!"

<Don't sound so shocked. Having the flesh ripped from your bones isn't that bad. But you'll know that soon enough, now won't you?>

*Big Duo shoots its missiles out in front of him, collapsing a couple of ruined skyscrapers on top of him.*

*The Megadeus is, in fact, still sitting under the tunnel, where she left it.*

*Gelu Chalybs wiggles about trying to get out from under the rubble.*

*Hitomi goes to the tunnel.*

Zell, resorting to the most catty of all fighting tactics, pulls Barbatos' hair.

*Big Duo fires frickin' eye lasers at him while he's down & trapped.*
