Are you retarded? It's a 300 something hour series. I can give you 6 YouTube videos, it doesn't mean you watched the show. You've seen an Angel here, been given a plot detail there, & you know that they'll skip little things like character development.

First time I've ever heard that about Death Note. Granted there is a point that a lot of people think is where it starts getting bad, but for the first 25 episodes or so it's really good.
One of the few anime I actually bothered to buy the box set of.

Some conclusion? The tv ending wasn't even an ending. It was just a we have no money and need an ending, so lets throw together some live action footage with some recycled footage and call it a conclusion.

Don't listen to Potter, I watched the anime version of Death Note, & it was just fine.

I do agree that it is completely understandable to skip the episodes that come after Kaworu in Eva.

Re:Build's also been much better so far so there's that too.

That's a matter of some debate.

Also, the problem with Rebuild is that it's only halfway finished, with no sign that they'll ever get to the 3rd movie.

And the other problem is that it's a completely different series.

That's true. I've enjoyed it more though. Shinji having some balls helps. The whole not being a total wuss is a major plus in the character development department.

But the point in Script watching this is that he's never seen Eva before.

And, so far, he's just been whining about the first episode or so.
