*The chest yields a The Lovers scroll before disappearing. This leaves Hector in an empty clearing with arched trees on the other end, suggesting a door.*

Scorching

*Euryale, Sab, & Thiera appear in the middle of a field that really does suggest a volcanic eruption. The ground is a pattern of bright red lines & chunks of black rock, with thick heat waves rolling off of them. Nearby, a giant rib cage is sticking out of the ground, with the skull of a massive dragon peaking out from the ground not too far away. 3 cacti with flailing arms turn towards them.*

<Snaky Cactus! ...Snaky Cactus!>

Sab looked at the dragon and smiled, "Mortal would like it here. I've got to remember to show her around."

Hector took one more look around and strode up to the possible doorway, which he then stepped through.

*This next portion of the jungle was an empty, squarish clearing, although half of it dropped off into a jagged cliff. If Hector looked carefully below, he could see spikes way down at the bottom, one or two sporting impaled skeletons.*

*Thiera is staring at Euryale's feet, which have no shoes. She looks down.*

Euryale: Yeah, game logic, huh? Anyway, let's go find some Magic Portals.

<Snakey Cactus!>

"Is no one going to take the Grunty food?" Sab asked.

Hector looked over the cliff-side and then stepped back from it, turning to find the next exit.

<Snaky Cactus!>

Euryale: It is relatively rare, but I have no immediate plans to raise a Grunty.>

Thiera: Me neither.

*The next room is a short clearing, where a Long Arm with blue hair & a matching 4 foot spear is thrusting at a Red Wyrm. The Red Wyrm evades her strikes & bites her, shaving off a quarter of her HP.*

Hector drew his cutlass and dashed in to help, slashing at the Red Wyrm.

"I'll take it then," Sab said, doing just that.

*As it turns out, 3-1=2.*

Euryale: Umm...you need a lot of Grunty Food to raise a Grunty, you know.

*The Red Wyrm takes a nasty blow across one wing. Soon afterwards, Luna stabs it in the chest. It then begins to inhale.*

Hector rocked back onto one heel before shooting forward once again and trying to take off it's head with his cutlass.

"I know, but you've got to start somewhere," Sab said.

*Monudon arrives at the item shops and buys Warrior Blood (1) and Recovery Drink (2), then heads to the Chaos Gate*

*A red streak emerges from the Red Wyrm's neck on the point where it's slashed. It breathes a stream of fire at the pair, reducing Hector to a little below half health & critically wounding Luna. While it was doing this, Luna held the spear perpendicular to her body & began stabbing it several times rapidly, leaving the Red Wyrm well below half HP.*

Thiera: Alright, I'll take some. What about you?

<Snaky Cactus!>

Euryale: Hm? No. You can go ahead & take the last piece.

*And so Thiera picks Grunty Food.*

*Monudon arrives at the Chaos Gate*

Monudon:[While I'm here...I might as well check out the new server.]

*Monudon selects Theta Sever from the other servers list*

"Alright then, lets go find some portals."

"Ah, damn," Hector said at being put down below half HP. He then proceeded to dive into an attack once again.

*Luna slashes down one wing, somersaults, & brings the spear down to slash the other wing. Through their combined efforts, they finally bring the Red Wyrm down. It flops to the ground, whereupon it turns gray & vanishes.*

*While they're crossing over a hill looking for a Magic Portal, they're bum rushed by a giant, flaming doberman. Euryale immediately unsheathes her blade & stabs it, at which point it bites her shoulder.*

Theta Server: Highland City Dun Loireag

Dun Loireag:

*When Monudon appears at Dun Loireag's Chaos Gate, he notices a strange animal walking across the bridge towards him. It is a gray beast with physiology between that of a pig & a cow. Its featureless face is wrapped in bandages, out of which pokes its glowing purple eyes.*

Sab casts Juk Kruz on it.

Alto is still waiting for someone.

ooc: because tae is a jerk.

"That was a bother," Hector said, turning his attention to the girl he fought with.

OOC: We all know the feeling, pal.

"More than that. I fear this area will be impossible to conquer without healing skills."

*Thiera lets loose with a tornado of water as Euryale raises her blade & slashes down again. Critically wounded, the Hell Doberman attempts to run away.*

Another Juk Kruz.

"Well, that would be the disadvantage of working alone," Hector replied.

Luna: Do you possess the Repth spell?

*The Juk Kruz finally brings the Hell Doberman to its knees, where it falls over & disappears like any other defeated monster.*
